Shares owned within a company?
I was newly wondering what is the most shares any one owns in one company here because i enjoy 100,000 shares of ETWCW. And i was curious if any one owns shares within that stock.Answers: You can look up the stock.
It's daily volume is almost 400,000 shares, so obvisouly you don't own them all.
At 4 cents per share, you own nearly 4000 dollars worth?
How do i find lost shares in australia?
Answers: What do you mean with "lost shares"?
If you mean - the share registry has lost contact with you, you may want to contact the share registry and update your contact details. The two biggest share registries in Australia are Computer Share and Link Market. Check out their websites for their phone number www.computershare.com.au and www.linkmarketservices.com.au.
If you mean - you lost track of what happened to your shares - they "disappeared" from the news - you can go to www.delisted.com.au to see what happened. But then, you still have to contact the share registry (to update your details, to see maybe there is an unclaimed money from some takeover, etc etc possibilities).
When ringing the two Share Registries - just bear with their call centre people. If you are lucky, they are really great. If not, they can be really unhelpful.
I had an experience (one out of a thousand) where I was and I am still convinced, the Computershare guy was on LSD - or very drunk. I didn't hang up as I had too much fun asking him question. It's hilarious. He was literally going around and around the same circle trying to answer my question (i.e. struggling trying to finish his sentence) and then forgetting my question in a few seconds and we had to start all over again.
Hope the above helps (apart from the LSD part).
Why did the USA Federal Reserve Intererate can affect the stock market and the currency ?
Answers: Well, technically, if there is lower interest rate, then banks would borrow more money from the Fed. If Banks have more money, then there is more liquidity in the market. If there is more money, then value of the currency is also affected. Its like supply and demand. More supply, lower value. *correct me if i am wrong*
