Answers: Unlikely... Fed will put on a pedestal interest rates to protect inflation and we'll see leakage from the credit crunch spill into retail and technology. This crisis will steal another year or two to recover. By the run out of the year, I expect the Dow to be around 10K-11K.

The U.S. is in a recession, stock market are driven by earnings. If not a soul is buying, then the income of companies are going to go down.
