Help beside Scottrade?

I realize that scottrade charges $7 commission to buy stock. Lets say I buy 10 shares at $7 apiece, which is $70. Scottrade tack on $7 more. I would be paying $77 total, right? Is there any other disguised fees?

Is it a flat $7 rate if I buy 1 stock, or 100?
What if I buy 50 stock from one company, and 50 from another? Would that be $14 or $7?

Do they charge commission to sell a stock?

The minimum description balance is $500. What exactly does this expect? Does it mean I can use the entire $500 to buy stocks, or does it indicate if I have $1000 as a be a foil for, I can only use $500 to buy stock?

Thanks

Is here an earings per hand?

Answers:   It is $7 per stock trade. whether it is one share or 1000

How to pick polite stocks?

Like most firms, a commission is charged for respectively trade that you do, regardless of the quantity (there are exceptions to this for number but you're not there)

A trade is considered an execution, therefore for respectively execution you will be charged a commission.
There are situation where a given establish may require more than one execution, so the firm may charge by the order.

When you buy surrounded by several different companies, they are seperate trades

Yes a commission is charged for sell advice, whey not they incur the same cost for the brokerage firm

You call for $500 to open an statement, yes you can invest that $500, you don't need any 5 to hang on to the account.

I expect the price of stock to leak. do i buy call or puts?

yes per trade is 7 dollars commission

if you buy 10 shares it's 7 bucks
if you buy 100 shares it's still 7 bucks

if you deal in stock, it's 7 dollar commission plus a penny of regulatory fee.

you entail to have at tiniest 500 dollars in your justification at any given time. And you can use it to buy stock, as long as you have 500 dollars within value.
