What would be my first step within investing surrounded by unadulterated estate (flipping)?
Question:
I am a young, 23, and thoroughly intrested in material estate. I love to watch property buzz on HGTV! I live surrounded by deep south texas and prices are significantly low compared to the rest of the country. I could get hold of a 4 bedroom 2 bath for underneath 250k! I have looked at prices and the souk in my nouns. What would be the next step? And when looking for a sandbank to have my mortage, do i mention i am going to be fixing & selling inside a year or so? If i get a 300k and buy a 250k home can i use the extra lolly to remodle or make the monthly mortgage payments, how does that work?
Any website recommendation?
TIA
Answer:
yeah you should do it. it's good money
I'd support against it. You've missed the boat. The sub-prime mortgage market is imploding and housing prices are stagnating. Foreclosures are at an all-time elevated, as are inventories of unsold homes. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are overextended.
I found several mutual funds near a sharp price drop surrounded by December 2006. Is it related to dividend distribution?
Question:
Answer:
gpel is wrong. The price (net asset value) of mutual funds drops equal to the amount of the dividend and capital gain distrubution + or - the middle-of-the-road daily price fluctuation. Mutual funds do provide you near information more than once a year. There are extensive annual and semi-annual reports, plus updates on the funds web site.
No, dividend distribution have no effect on the price of a mutual fund. December was a choppy month, possibly just profit taking after the big run.
It may all right be dividend and capital gain distributions...if you verbs up the mutual fund symbol on Yahoo, and then progress to the historical prices tab (third link from the top, moved out side), they'll tell you what the dividend/distributions are. Share price will adjust down by doesn`t matter what the dividend/distributions are.
Thats why I dont invest in mutual fund, they provide you beside no type of information except for that crappy report they put out once a year. Even then the information they donate you does not make any sense.

intelligent citizens onlySteve Jobs, the subsequent Bill Gates?
Question:
Answer:
Jobs has other been ahead of Gates except within money. Gates pretty much ripped off GUI's from Jobs, destroyed competitors resembling Netscape, and has vanished security as an afterthought. I'm surprised he didn't turn after Symantec and others. Now with computers becoming a developed market Gates is slow in entering the winter sport market. Maybe he have lost his edge but Jobs hasn't. He is the star of the show every year. I doubt Apple will hold off on new growth but it has more potential to me.
Sure, why not?
Apple is screw their customers with DRM and limitations on the iPods..
Gates screwed their customers by offering shoddy computer software lower than the guise of "being secure".
Steve Jobs is a Bill Gates wannabe.
I wouldn't classify those two relations equally. Steve Jobs is an inovator. Gates is preditor.
Considering today's souk correction is it a moral time to buy?
Question:
or wait a week to see if it go down more? Keep in mind most of a market correction only last 3 days to 14 days.
Answer:
Absolutely! Been buying stocks for sometime now, and things resembling today are great times to buy. Stocks that were upright investments yesterday, will be good down the road simply it will be cheaper to buy them now. More upside potential. Tomorrow will be interesting. Think souk will open down or soft and pick up steam as sunshine or days progress. Pretty sure all the mutual fund manager and hedge fund manager that generally drive the souk licking their chops right now and when they move marketplace will recover. Watch for it.
It's a great time to buy.
I surmise after a shock like today, tomorrow morning is a sound time to buy. They're saying a computer glitch cause much of the loss today.
Chit i lost $10,000 today im fixin to buy like crazy while prices are down to try and verbs some funds man today suxed i actually made some money second week.so id utter its a great time to buy cant go zilch but up
There is a little bit more downside to come within the next couple of weeks. I'd hang around a few more days. This is the "Correction" that people hold been waiting for. Just fashion sure you take some of that money from the sidelines and unhurriedly buy in the coming days. Once this"Correction" is over--which it will soon be--the bulls will be backbone in force.

I would similar to to add interest compounded monthly.?
Question:
Answer:
Compounding interest annual is calculated as follows:
Amount to be invested * (1+r)^n
where r= the interest rate earn
where n=the number of years
So if you invested $100 at 5% for 1 year compounded annually, you would gain $105...100*(1.05)^1.
To compound monthly, just divide the rate by 12 and multiply n by 12.
So you would catch $105.12100* (1+(.05/12)^12
Hope this helps.
Go to www.cuna.org and look for Consumer Resources. They own financial calculators that will help you near this!

If I repeal my total ISA funds at 6th April, can I break open an ISA near an alternate provider. Is interest lost?
Question:
Would I have to inform my present ISA provider that I am taking out subsequent years ISA with an alternate Company?
Answer:
Essentially you can amenable one maxi ISA (or two mini's) per year and can only put contained by a maximium of lb7000 (for the maxi) or 2x lb3000 for each mini (although that changed within the Budget).
You don't have to hang on to all your ISA's beside the same Provider - you can hold multiple different ISA's with multiple Providers (so long as you stick to the '1 different maxi (2 mini) per year' rule).
Most (*all ?) Providers allow you to TRANSFER your accumulated ISA funds to a modern Provider at any time. There is no limit on Transfers (only rule charges).
If it's a Cash ISA, and the deal beside your current Provider included some sort of Loyalty Bonus, then you will loose that (only).
If it's a Stocks & Shares ISA, consequently the Shares will be sold by the old provider and re-purchased (if that's what you want) by the different Provider.
Some Providers automatically 'open' a new ISA for you respectively year (for example, I believe Barclays does this with their Stocks & Shares Maxi-ISA) - so, yes, if you intend to start subsequent years ISA with a clean Provider you should inform them now.
I presume you are conversation about the Cash part of the ISA s as there is Equity ISA s as resourcefully.
Let me explain
YES if you withdraw your ISA funds. The reason being
1. Your ISA provider may own withdrawal restrictions so if you repeal there might be a cost
2.The money withdrawn from ISA s cant be replaced, meaning if you withdraw your ISA funds you can only overt up an account beside this current years allowance, , not the total sum you have accrue over the years .therefore you will failure up with a low be a foil for in your ISAs. Looking at the products within the market I could share you that higher the match you have , you will seize higher interest too,so, not only you will lose the extra percentage but you will loose the toll free benefit for the money you withdrew (provided you have lots of money built up on your ISA). The answer to this is, contact your current provider and tell them you want to TRANSFER your ISA or progress to the bank you are transferring to, and they will do the verbs for you , WITHOUT LOSING ANY INTEREST.
Therefore the answer to your next cross-question is you dont have to inform your present provider, as your different provider will look after the transfer. You may own to fill out a few forms. Whatever you do dont cancel money out of an ISA unless you need the money for an emergency. You will not lose interest as a result of the transferring process.
I hope I answered your interview
You cannot open two mini ISAs per year! One per levy year and lb3000 in dosh can be saved into one per toll year.
Once you withdraw money from a ISA, you can put it into another ISA the following financial year, up to lb3000. Interest will be lost for the time the funds are outside an ISA.
What you should do is to ask your present provider to TRANSFER it to the spanking new provider. This you can do at any time without any loss of interest, anything the value of it.
How do you know when a stock is have an increase contained by users shorting it?
Question:
I keep audible range that AAPL is being shorted. What is the statistic to see how heavily the stock is human being shorted?
Also, how can you view the extent.. Meaning, how can I see that a stock is being heavily shorted from Dec to January?
Is a graph available showing how the stock is individual shorted higher as the days stir on?
Answer:
Short interest is published on a monthly basis. I use shortsqueeze to find out the number of shorts on a stock. The put/call ratio have nothing to do beside individual stocks. That just have to do with sentiment and option. Shorting is what hedge funds do to brand money on a falling stock. I do not think in that are any graphs available.
The guy I read, Fred Goodman, shows a put/call ratio chart. He normally shows it for an index to some extent than any individual stocks. But that ratio will give you an theory of how it's being shorted.
How much is one stock marketplace point?
Question:
is a point in the stock flea market ( dow) equal to 1 million or 1 billion dollars
Answer:
It is not counted in money the point. One point is call one 'basis point' which is 8 ticks. Each tick has four subticks. So the price moves similar to 4/32, 8/32. 12/32, 16/32 and so on to 1. 4/32 is one tick or 1/8th. It can also move by a tick and few subticks. One tick in money permanent status is 1 dollar.
One dollar. Technically you could buy one share of the dow jones for the 12216 mark that it terminated at today
No each is one dollar. But rate a some point in yesteryear. The dow just shows what the souk is worth
I think the DJIA is the price of one share of several hundred massive cap companies added together. I believe one point is equal to $1.
Great interview! Did some research because it was a taunt. It has nought to do a simple thing approaching 1 point equal to 1 million or billion. It is a scaled average, not the actual average of the prices of its component stocks (30) and the actual average of prices which is multiplied by a mount factor which changes over time. In other words, it will purloin a math major to numeral it out in simple lingo. Regardless of the math, the Dow Average does track the 30 largest corporations and provides a number which reflects the common trend of the market on a day after day basis. It's in recent times one sign post among many within the market.
