Is CVS a perfect company to invest within? Why or why not?

Question:
this is mainly for long-term investors

Answer:
no, they are thoroughly pricy, rude and suck

walgreens is way better and cvs will never compare
yeah I dont similar to CVS...you are better off investing contained by Walgreens...I love Walgreens!
They have be doing huge expansions. They just bought out most of the free standing Osco Drug stores here contained by Arizona. That is bound to increase the net worth of the company over time. I would read out without a doubt yes.
Because CVS is other ORANGE looking and just reminds me of and ripened ZAYRE department store. Not appealing at all. I prefer Walgreens and Walmart!
I don't know much roughly speaking CVS other than from notes I looked into before answering this. I know Zaire, wallgreens, drexel which seemed to be OK to me too.
Financial situation: CVS or caremark have high P/E consequence unless tries to take them over their price is not going to amend drastically. They have low current and spur-of-the-moment ratios gist their liquidity position is just stable not outstnading. Low change position of around 500 mn for a billion and a half share holders. Cash increases individual in 15 to 17 mn stock annually which is not outstanding either.
Moreover they seem to be buying back shares which so copious companies now are doing at the behest of the executives to glass dress year end statements so their compensation will be intact. Olden days it used to be for on the way the stock holders wealth. Now the story seem different.
It seems the company is run to enrich the executives a bit than the stockholders. I will keep away from it.

How are bonds and stock similar? How are they different?

Question:

Answer:
Bonds are investing in debt, whereas stocks are investing surrounded by equity (ownership of the corp).

If a company issues a bond, they are borrowing money. If they issue stock, they are selling part of the company. Different ways to make higher money.

While the face effectiveness of a bond can go up, you are making your return on the interest.
They are both issued by a corporation to angle money to fund business activities. Bonds represent a debt prerequisite and must be paid posterior, with interest. Stocks represent an ownership interest and are a claim against adjectives corporate earnings.

Gold Bullion - do I entail to buy MS70??

Question:
I'm buying bullion as "insurance" and am trying to figure out if I inevitability to spend more on the MS70 bullion. For example, on the blanchardonline.com website - there seem to be no rating for most of the bullion - is it ok to buy it for resale later on? Or should I be absolute of the grade up to that time I buy anything?

Answer:
If you are looking to buy gold as insurance why not basically consider the StreetTracks ETF "GLD"? Seems like the costs and running would be much less than if truth be told physically buying buillion, no?
Nope. Not unless you plan to hoard it in your ethnic group and sell it as a rarity hundreds of years from immediately. Otherwise you should simply care give or take a few the price/troy ounce not the "beauty rating" of the bullion you plan to purchase.

Stocks to Buy?

Question:
I am starting a play account on the reccomendation of my advisor since I close to to play around w/ individual stocks. I'm looking for three to four stocks with huge potential and I'm predisposed to take a risk since the amount of money I'm sticking within there isn't that great. I've found a couple I approaching, but would love some more options to research past I make my final outcome. These are stocks that I will keep for one year minimum and later re-analyze. THANKS!

Answer:
holy cow some very bleak picks on here Apple is under an SEC investigation and the upright news (iphone) have already been priced contained by. Ford..please....Siri come on people Siri's singular chance at redemption is the merger beside XM and right now its a low randomness of that happening. Microsoft while Vista is a flawless operating system, their xbox 360 has serious overheating problems next to it. Nintendo is pink sheet garbage as resourcefully.

You want some real stocks? Try WTR, CHK, T, AH and COP.
BTU, CSX
Ford is an straightforward stock to obtain and is especially low for now. I suggest mutual funds lone!
Apple Computers has risen roughly 30 bucks in yesteryear year or so, and with the iPhone coming out, followed by their unknown operating system, they should continue to rock on.

Nintendo, near the Wii and DS has other been a strong Stock to invest contained by.

Chipotle Mexican Grill rocked when it came out going on for 8 months ago, and has constantly risen.

And as you would expect, Microsoft never fails to not craft me some money.
Try Sirius (SIRI), it's price is low and has tremendous upside.
Applied Materials (NasdaqGS:AMAT) a moment ago won a contract to supply a thin-film production line to Spain's T-Solar Global. As a supplier to the PV industry, AMAT is worth inclusion surrounded by my Alternative Energy Blue Chip Portfolio.]
Check out http://screen.yahoo.com/stocks.html... and put the Est. 1 Yr EPS Growth: up at 20% per year or more. Thats how you find companies with efficient growth in income.

Has anybody invested near Aid4Families.com?

Question:
This website claims that they'll pay 120% APY on your investment, by paying you 10% every month for a year, and after returning your initial investment. There is a minimum investment of $10,000 ($1,000/ mo x 12 + $10,000 = $22,000). Any experiences? Good or bad? Is this proposition legit or a scam? Thank you!

Answer:
Scam. I didn't 'invest' with them or even consider it, but I still see it as a scam for two reason:
1. Others have asked question in this forum in the order of this web site and I've see replies that it's a scam.
2. There is no legit investment that can make the claims and promises they are. If they honestly returned to investors what they claim, they will lose money and be out of business surrounded by no time. Here is one of those cases where 'If it sounds too fitting to be true, it probably is'.

There are so many suitable uses, including valid investments, for $10K. I wouldn't give them a penny, instead recommend you invest it contained by mutual funds.
I invested with them a couple of years ago and I haven't regretted it since. I did my research up to that time sending them any money and I never heard anything distrustful about them from any of their existing clients. Not one single entity who has invested have ever put any complaints on here. There are a lot of blanket judgements but nought real. I can right to be heard from personal experience that I have other received my payments on time and minus any hassle.
I agree with Michelle as I am also a client of aid4families. The lone thing I found not lawful about aid4families on here are those comments stating that they are a scam. It's a lawful company which does not have any customer complaints. I recommend it to anyone.

Is at hand any management that ranks financial advisory/planning firms? If so which ones are the top three?

Question:

Answer:
I'm not aware of any such organization - though they're probably out in attendance. But too likely their results will basically show the biggest, not necessarily the best. So if the main point trailing your question is that you're looking for a firm to use, I would recommend Merriman Capital Management, which can be found at http://www.fundadvice.com/mcm.html....

I am not affiliated near them, nor am I even a client - but I have be reading and using their advice for years, and it have paid sour. They won't blindly funnel you into mostly US stocks or mostly large cap like most of the big players, but will instead analyze your investing temperament and existence situation and invest accordingly - giving a glowing dose of small-caps and internationals (assuming your situation renders it appropriate).

Is Qualcomm stock still a devout investment?

Question:

Answer:
Um...I'm gonna say it's pretty expensive right immediately...trading near it's 52 week glorious and a P/E ratio at almost 29. But could QCOM go difficult? I'm gonna say yes even tho some of its valuation tell me otherwise (forward p/e ratio lower than trailing p/e). Good business and moral management...plus they own their greedy little hands contained by so many places except phones that they are bound to hit one out of the park. And based San Diego...who doesn't love SD? Go for it...buy.

Why is TSL (NYSE) ADR price falling so fast contained by former times few days?

Question:
Is this a general trend surrounded by solar equities, or more reflective of the general flea market?

Answer:
The price has have a pretty steep rise in the ending few months. I would call it a correction. The Wall Street Journal resume that there may be some MORE Chinese competitors launching soon beside their IPOs, so that will dilute interest (Trina is Chinese: officed in Changzhou, Jiangsu). Still, for a company that lately a few years ago made and sold aluminum siding, TSL has be a pretty sweet ride.
Alternative engergy stocks will take a long time to become popular and thus will have little upside for a long time.

It is alike as with Bio-tech companies, a biddable idea take years and millions of dollars to try to get a drug to open market, and if the drug is the only product within the "pipeline" then the likelihood of it and the company surviving is low.
