Where can I find tips for investing on stocks?
Question:
Answer:
Try stockpikr or seeking alpha. Stockpikr will give you a ton of example portfolios that can be very adjectives and will have some tips. I wouldn't trust to much of what is on in that in the form of tips as recurrently people will float info surrounded by the hopes of driving up the price and hurting those that use the tips. Seeking alpha is nice as they have some intelligent race on there submitting some adjectives ideas. More or smaller quantity ideas are what you obligation and not tips. Remember high standard dividend payers will beat the bazaar over the long term. Do the research and formulate sure the FUNDIE's are there.
Here's a tip: Buy low, flog high.

It really depends on the brokerage.. Most will allow you to start with a minimal investment.. However, for trading purposes, I would suggest that you start near at least $5000.00. If you are going to be an involved trader then please start near at least 10,000 preferably more.. Find a low cost broker 9.99 or 7.99 or some are even smaller quantity.

Am i too greedy or what?
Question:
I recently bought into a company near $1000 and made about 42% on my investment within a matter of 2 months. Problem is i put a stop charge in this morning and it go through and then shot up again. I get mad and bought pay for in. I haven't really lost any profits on the other hand but i am afraid i am. The company looks solid and will probably continue to grow. I should hold, but didn't establish set limits earlier i bought the stock so i dont know when i should get out. I touch like my greed and large hopes are keeping me from permenantly seperating myself from this company. Should i get out while i enjoy profits. I can afford the lose the entire investment but of course i would not want to. When do i bring back out?
Answer:
I use two principles.
(1) If I think the stock is overpriced and could drop significantly I will put up for sale my entire holdings and look for another opportunity.
(2) I decide how much I an of a mind to risk on the company, usually somewhat more than my initial purchase price. If the stock goes up so that my investment become more than I am willing to risk, I deal in part of my position to drop off my holdings to the amount I am willing to risk.
The amount I am feeling like to risk on a company is not fixed. If the company is doing well I will increase the amount I am of a mind to risk. If a new risk factor comes up, I drain the amount I am willing to risk, even if that ability selling for a loss. I firmly believe that decisions around closing all or division a position should not be based on your current profit or loss surrounded by the position. Instead they should be based on your display of the current prospects for the company.
An old boss of mine used to love to play blackjack, & would embezzle $5,000 with him. He be fully prepared to lose that money and wouldn`t be devastated by the loss. If he won $5,000, it would go into his pocket and he would play on the casinos money. He frequently come back beside 20 to25 thousand in profit. I suggest you do alike. If you make $1,000, put it rear in the mound & play with their money.
Sell 1/2 of your holding.. This allows you to maintain some gains.. Let the rest ride.. Don't use a physical stop.. keep hold of a mental stop, as often the souk will blow through those stops and then the stocks continues to move up (as you hold noticed).
Take the 1/2 that you sell, and place into SPY which is the S&P500 ETF. Allows you to stay contained by the market, and still benefit from the flea market moves.. Then depending on the company you purchased.. Exit from the stock when it makes a lower low, this will protect you from exiting out too like greased lightning, although it is possible that it could be range bound for a time as citizens come in to amass the stock.
Either way..
Good Luck..
If you use Technical Analysis to kind your decision, examine for support and resistance, and create your plan from that of course :).
Do you remember ENRON. Do you remember ENRON and Martha Stewart. All honourable things must come to an end--sometime. Congrats on your savy.Depend on your stock broker to tell you when to hold em and when to fold em. Good luck. It's a volatile time, so who know when the next crisis will come and the bottom falls out of the stock open market. I think I would hold on to a portion and sell the rest and nickname it a day.
its clear you should set margins BEFORE you push the go button.
know your boundaries, or be prepared to lose over and over
This is the classic trader dilema. You should consider buying a book on the psycology of trading and how to deal near the risk/greed balance or using a firm resembling Tradingpostfinancial.com to teach you how to trade and they will coach you through the mental battle.
As they say, "making money is simple but not unproblematic."
As someone said before, set your margins before you obtain into any trade and then you'll know when you are relieved. If your limit throws you out consequently you can enter back contained by on what must be an entirely different trade emotionally and a different set of criteria and expectations.
sounds to me like you set too low of a stop loss spread adjectives you really lost was the broker fess i approaching to set the stop loss at 5-8% range but curious as to the company.
You should stop trading until you read roughly speaking 4 more books on the subject. More knowledge never hurts right?

Look up the duty consequences of a "wash sale" which is what you simply did.
If this is a trading question, I don't know, not a soul does. If it's an investing question, stay near it for as long as you think it's solid and will verbs to grow. You need to digit out whether you are a trader or an investor.
By the way, the wipe sale rule someone else referred to don't apply when you hold a gain. You'll be reporting a short-term gain on your tax return subsequent year.
How much money would i require to initially instigate a demat portrayal and start my share business?
Question:
Before starting my share business how much money do i need?
Answer:
If you want to initiate Demat account near ICICI Bank (http://www.icicidirect.com), the first year Fee is Rs 750/- and subsequent yrs fee is Rs 300/-.
They unscrew 3-in-1 account where on earth in you can a demat report along with nest egg account. The minimum go together in your reserves account should be Rs 5000/- for a quarter.
There is no minimum amount required for share flea market. You can even start the same next to Rs 1000/-.
Also remember banks / broker charge some transaction excise when you buy / sell shares through them.
Depends on who you use. CMC Markets is the lowest start that I know of at $2000 CDN but if you are worried roughly raising a minimum amount you'd be better past its sell-by date not giving it a whirl until you own traded a demo account for several weeks and proven yourself to be successful.
It is not of late about the minimum amount, consider the leverage you can achieve (again CMC Markets are good for this - I own no agenda to push them, just that I realize that they are a good provider), the instruments that you can trade through them, the platform that they administer you to use and how easy specifically for you to understand.
If I be you I'd research the providers with the minimum sum anyone almost the least of your worries.
For pete's sake don't use a lofty street provider who can't offer you any leverage.
for crack an demat account u require 500Rs as hill fees
nd + u require PAN Card its compulsory nowdays
u shuld have a Bank acount beside the same ridge where u first night Demat account nd minmum go together should be 5000rs.
Some bank also provides close to sharekhan IDBI where u can trade through home i:e through internet online trading
next to no extra charge only brokrage is to be rewarded
DEMAT account fees r different for different bank nd institution but maximum it is 500 to 700
nd for investing it depends on u u can start with 1000 rs also
but stay alert when u r investing
invest contained by bluechip(A group) or Mid cap nd if u can thieve risk then u can move about for small cap also
It depends on which brokerage firm you select. It would be give or take a few Rs. 2500 to 7500 including minimum balance required for edge account.

What is your business plan, if its good family will come.
How much do you need?
it is essentially based on what type of business plan you bring to the table. it is a backache in the ace, laborious, and across the world boring, but if you are looking for professional investment (ie. banks, investors) the info must be on paper within a professional manner. it's adjectives sense, really. now, if you are looking to do something 'less than lawful,' you may be able to find funds lacking the formalities.
Ask others after giving your business idea
you can start by looking into activity capitalist, or equity funds.
Do adjectives lenders A. try to help yourself to 49% of project equity B. turn out to be frauds or C. any number of ill-begotten?
Question:
How do you find a legitimate source, as a broker, for domestic and international commercial nouns if the business is a shark tank near theives and frauds everywere. There is honourable money in it, and any brokers out in that know with my project and your source, abundantly of money can be made, but where are the fitting brokers and the legit sources? Please advise.
Answer:
Duplicate Q, duplicate answer OK ?

B & C .= yes, if you find them on the web.
Try looking for the "material deal" in the "legitimate world" :-)
Can anybody explain the stock souk to me?
Question:
How does it work? What does it take to buy stock?
Answer:
Buying stocks and funds are buying a piece of the company. If the company make a profit the value of the company increases and the shares become more expensive.
If the company loses money all the time the utility of the company and the stock shares go down and you lose money.
Stock brokers perform as a clearing house for the buying and selling of shares. They get a commission for this. You buy and market your shares thru them.
If you go long a stock, you want it to step up. Buy low sell high-ranking.
If you short a stock, you want to initially sell it soaring, and buy it back next at a lower price and pocket the difference.
Then there's options, but this is the subject of another grill.

Check out "The Nightly Business Report" series on National Public TV (go to their website). They have a great DVD or video that totally explains the Stock Market contained by simple to understand jargon. It cost, but it is well, all right worth it.
That is a very broad examine but I'll do my best...
The 'stock market' is an exchange were individuals or entities can buy or put up for sale securities. Securities can be stocks bonds, commodities, futures mutual funds, etc.
Lets take on of the above ... stock ... what is stock? It is ownership contained by a corporation. Corporations, like Disney, Compaq ... YAHOO ... have need of money to advance their basis, in Disney's valise, their cause is entertainment. What do they grant - theme parks for one - how did disney build them? They compensated a group of people to design and build the parks. where on earth did they get money to take-home pay for this? By issuing stock. Disney approaches an underwriter - someone who will help them prepare and issuse stock - they later file their papers next to the SEC and they approve a certain amount of shares to be made available to the public.
Now Disney - through their underwriter - resembling a sales personality - has the handiness to sell their stock. They provide their stock on an exchange - a trading ground for companies that are trying to to the same piece - think of it approaching a farmers market, individual they're selling stock not tomatos. Anyway there are various exchanges, the Ameican exchange, the Nasdaq, the NYSE, thye all own listing requirements - how big is your company, how copious $$ do you have contained by assets, etc based on your answer you'd be allowed to trade on a fussy exchange.
(Why trade on an exchange? Think of the farmers market again, you jump to the exchange to sell your shares b/c specifically where everyone else is doing it...you dont own to do it there but that is to say how you get the best exposure to potential buyers.)
Buyers - similar to you and me access the exchange through brokers like etrade and td waterhouse. we share the broker how many shares we want and how much we are predisposed to pay for them, and the broker attempts to riddle our order. They variety money by charging a commission or sales tax on the order. If the writ is filled the broker get a commission and the shares change hand. Oddly Disney only make money through the Initial Public Offering that is when they filch their shares public selling them to anyone willing to buy them.
Meanwile, Disney immediately has the proficiency to raise wealth to pursue their projects, they collect money by selling stock ... but at a price, stock = ownership in the company and give the buyer an opportunity to participate contained by the decision making process of the company. Disney attempts to pursuade the judgment making of its owners by paying a quarterly dividend which keeps the owners cheerful, or by explaining that a particular project will increase their lattice income, making their stock more attractive to people who do not all the same own it, making them willing to remuneration a higher price to own it ----- property appreciation.
That is just one item that buyers and sellers can do surrounded by a stock market, but I expect it's a good starting point.
Open a brokerage narrative at Zecco and drop me a line.
Please read books back you take the plunge. Attend seminar and talk to brokers and company execs. You are not the single person who doesn't know around tstocks but thinks that the streets are lined with gold ingots.
They aren't so please spend a few pounds/dollars/schekels on education and travel earlier you buy stocks as otherwise the chances are you will founder initially and form the opinion that it is adjectives bad. Shares aren't adjectives bad but at hand are good times to go and get in and upright times to just examine. "There are no risky investments, there are one and only risky investors", don't take risks that reading and conversation will mitigate for you.
Are you serious? There are many resources available to you on the 'net, the leading place to start would be to go to the Stock Exchange website for your jurisdiction. For example, contained by Australia it would be www.asx.com.au and for the US you could check out www.nyse.com.
The Stock Exchange is a vehicle for companies to raise assets. They need money to fund their operation and investors supply this money. The exchange is a market where on earth people can trade their shares surrounded by companies - the amount of money they have invested contained by company is translated into "shares". Companies that are successful - make dutiful profits - become sought after shares and therefore their price rises. That is because the share is a right to a 'share' of the profits that the company make (because in effect the share holder is a member owner of the company).
But remember that like adjectives markets, the price that shares trade at is base on the supply and demand for that pernickety company. And these things are driven by human emotion and a hail of information about how the cutback, that company, their sector and other stuff is being artificial by world and local events.
As David Graham says, "contained by the short term the flea market is a voting machine, surrounded by the long term it is a weigh machine". That is to say that surrounded by the short term, prices are artificial by emotional factor - someone thinks the stock is blazing or not - in the long possession, the performance of the company will emulate in the share price.
Hope that help. Read as much as you can. Visit your local exchange site and read their educational bits and pieces. Read the financial press. Try out with small amounts first until that time committing real money.
Regards,
Wazza

How do I to start playing thhe stock flea market?

First of adjectives, you never "PLAY" the stock markets. You any "TRADE" or "INVEST" in the stock market. This may be just a switch of words but a very central one that governs the mode you approach this serious matter thoughtful in your mind. People who frequently use the word "play the stock markets" usually find themselves broke surrounded by no time and people close to me who use the word "invest in the stock markets" tend to ultimate a very long time.
Ok, getting down to business. Technically, it is extremely simple near today's information era to invest or trade stocks and shares. You simply need to embark on a trading account, fund that details, buy a stock and sell it then at a higher price for a profit. Simple?
Well, that simplicity is exactly the sheep skin that hide the wolf beneath. That is exactly the expressway to wasting a lot of money.
Investing or trading the stock market never start from opening a trading story... it starts from adequate investment and trading erudition. There are quite a quantity of things you need to swot up before you can even start thinking of the stock market ...
1. You need to comprehend how the stock market works and what it is exactly in the region of.
2. You need to know what are the different styles of trading within stocks and shares.
3. You need to read in the order of why so many those lose their shirts in the stock market so that you can avoid their mistakes and also decide if this is a risk you want to help yourself to.
For all these issues and more, you can read roughly speaking them from some of the articles that I wrote at http://www.mastersoequity.com/articles.h...
After you are adequately armed next to the basic concepts and thinking, you need to know how to find profitable stocks to trade or invest surrounded by. You can do that the easy path by subscribing to stock pick services (example http://www.stockpickmaster.com ) or you can learn to use charting tools and softwares to find stocks next to parameters that you can pre-define. (example http://worden.mastersoequity.com... )
All within all, investment and trading is a lifelong rearing and non stop learning. No one is ever done erudition and catching up with change in the market.

How much money can i borrow to buy a second home?
Question:
giving the fact that the second home could be perchased ably below market expediency
Answer:
Depending on credit profile, you can mortgage up to 100% of the purchase price. Typically, the 90-95% range is more the norm. I would speak beside the lender that has your current mortgage. They hold a history on you, and might be able to tie both loans together, thus taking control of equity you have built surrounded by your primary. Understand that the interest rate for the second home will probably be a little bit highly developed than a mortgage for a primary home. The risk for the lender is greater, and lenders get rewarded for risk.
Hope this helps.
use the equity you own in the first house as a gage
The one and only sure way to find out is to sermon to the lender directly, everything else is just a guess.
you can borrow as much money as you want... as long as you are competent to pay it vertebrae.
if the first is not mortgaged, then impossible to tell apart can be used for the second home.

What can you suggest? high-yield online savings? disc? time deposit? credit union deposit? Which one yield the highest interest? thank you
Answer:
Stick to FDIC insured accounts lick CDs and such, http://charting-the-market.com/...
I would suggest a 5 year disc. They are pretty safe and you could earn pretty accurate interest if you got 2-10K CDs and a $5K disc.
I would suggest:
a high-yield CD
an online funds account beside a high-yield (ex: Wachovia)
stock, bonds

The coursework would probably train you to analyze company be a foil for sheets ( to see how profitable they are) and investments, again to see if they are good investments.. If you are interested within finance and/or investments and the stock bazaar and the like...it would be a dutiful choice. People in this industry usually put together pretty good money, upwards of $100k after a 5 or so years. It is a pretty elevated demand art too! Alot of universities tender this degree but they adjectives call it something different. My conservatory called it a simply a nouns degree beside an emphasis surrounded by investments. But all school will offer this type of point. Good luck.
