Answers:
I wouldn't personally invest within it at the IPO.

It's a firm of people who are wonderfully adept at making money. So my reasoning is, if they are that fitting at making money, they must be selling (via the IPO) at or near the top. And at hand is certainly some other evidence that may be the travel case here.

Also, if you dig down into the fine print, the shares you buy via the IPO are going to own very especially little power to influence anything. I usually don't like buying shares that are inferior to other people's share rights, even if my little bunch wouldn't own any power anyway!

I'll take another look at them when they've be public for a year or two, though.
in a heartbeat this is one of just TWO IPO's this year I am considering buying.

Answers:
"safe and most profit" should not be used together... near is a little entry call risk-reward... the more risk you bring the greater your potential for profit.

you need to opt what you want more... less downside risk or more upside risk?

next decide from at hand...
Life insurance with dividend.
place a bet on Celtic to win subsequent seasons Scottish Premier League, which will dispense 80% on his stake.
It is basically impossible to answer this within a useful agency, as there is so much that isn't particular: his tax situation, his age and investment goal, his other assets, and much more. For that much money, an investment advisor would be appropriate, who can take adjectives of this into account.
Buy gold ingots and sell it when the price is high-ranking. Gold minted coins are good investment contained by any country.
Bonds

or

Mutual funds that are handled by fund-managers.

Bonds, to my own feelings, is the safest way to invest. BUT if you invest surrounded by that, you need to dawdle till its maturity date and you can't cancel the amount you've invested.

Read up about bonds here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bond_%28fin...

And yes, Gold is another virtuous way close to the guy just mentioned above. Because Gold have TRUE value... it's worth something! Cash is only nothing but numbers written on papers. And let say if the U.S dollar be to drop its value, you can other trade it for other currency and there's still value. Get it?

Put contained by the bank? Not really. Why? There are 2 reason:
1) Very low returns (and a long time waiting)
2) INFLATION

Lastly, just remember this contained by mind:
"Higher risk = higher returns. Lower risk = low returns"
Property it is the easiest process to make money.
afford it to me and i will take unadulterated good exactness of it for him
Get him to put it in the edge?!
Put in a special good account where on earth you would NOT readily touch the money, read about what to do, bargain to a banker or an financial tutor. Talk to several people. But do not do anything imprudent. When your friend is sure what to do, then you can do something.
You cannot use safest and most profitable road in like peas in a pod sentence.

If you want security afterwards you will make vastly little money (5% Annually)

If you want a lot of profits later you will have to lift some risk.

You cannot have it both ways.

I suggest you to hire a Portfolio Manager near at least a decade of experience within the Stock Markets like myself.
My proposal is to put lb30,000 in a nest egg a/c, lb70,000 in polite quality bonds denominated surrounded by the currency of his country and the balance (lb100,00) within an an index tracking unit trust. This will supply him a cushion for emergencies, a worthy income and capital appreciation.

What does it be determined to invest for surrender?

Question:
Also where can I find the IPO's contained by the Wall Street Journal? Are the IPO's posted everyday?

Thanks in credit!

Answers:
Investing for yield vehicle you pick stocks or bonds based on lofty dividends. For example, Chevron pays approximately 3% dividend, and you'll receive these dividends regardless of what the stock price does. It's basically undamaging, and free money. If you invest for capital gain, you are hoping the stock price increases, and sell for a profit, and don't thought if the stock doesn't pay a dividend.
Investing for surrender can also give you possessions gains as you would expect, and good stocks finish both yield, and wealth gain.

I don't know much about IPOs, sorry.
To invest for relinquish is to purchase something that offers a defined rate of return, eg; a compact disc @ 4 %, corporate bond @ 6.25%, etc, etc. This is as opposed to investing for growth/price appreciation (stocks, commodities, etc.)

IPO's aren't down daily because they don't arise daily. What's specified as the "syndicate" calendar (a posting of pending IPO's) can be found on E-Trades' pattern site, but you may need an narrative to acess this info. Try yahoo finance, it offer quite a bit of adjectives info..
There are wo ways to make money: surrender (when the investment produced a stream of paymnets) and capital gain (when the price go up and you sell it for more than you paid)

Evaluating IPOs is for experts. A few that hold gone thru the roof have gotten profusely of publicity, but those people get lucky.

Best investments for 20 year antediluvian college student looking to for first 'major investment'?

Question:
Stocks? (Best websites to research for such an investment) Bonds? (websites?) CD sketch? Seeking financial guidance for my first major move-

Answers:
Stocks traditionally (over former times century) have have the highest returns of any investment instrument (bonds, money marketplace etc..). People are reluctant to invest in stocks because they are volatile (move around a lot) but here is a way to attain those stock like gain without much of the risk of holding an individual stock. Invest contained by an index fund, which is like a mutual fund except in attendance is no investment manager trading contained by and out of it constantly charging you ridiculous commissions. An index fund is simply a copy of a group of stocks that investors use to gauge the bazaar. For example you can buy an index fund that matches the S&P 500 etc.. Vanguard have some great funds with probably the lowest costs contained by the industry and has be around forever basically. I simply brought VTSMX (total mkt index fund), its at 35/share and with one purchase I presently have companies such as: Exxon , General Electric, Microsoft,Apple etc... For someone who can't afford to lose any investment income this is by the far the easiest way to diversify risk minus comprimsing your returns. Good luck to you!
Small Cap Growth stock mutual fund.
I know more than one 20-year-old who would have done best next to an investment in him/herself, eg. point, even from comm. college if money is tight, or for a vocational school course - voice a medical tech or in the computer paddock.

In the sense you're asking, if you need to use the money in a year or so, CD is ok. For money you can live lacking - retirement fund such as rOTH IRA (if you had plenty income) with no nouns index mutual funds - eg. S&P 500 index, or better still, at your age, a mix of small cap stocks too, eg. Wilshire 5000 index within a company such as Vanguard that charges low fees.
Over the long term the stock flea market is likely to outperform bonds or CDs (of course this is the long term--if you have need of the money for school or other essential term expenses you may want to be a bit more conservative next to it.)

In general though the easiest agency to invest in the stock marketplace is to buy index funds (ie funds that own all of the stocks within a list of stocks). For example the iShares fund (IVV) or the SPDR fund (SPY) own stock within all of the companies surrounded by the S&P 500 (a listing of 500 largest US stocks) enjoy low fees and can be purchased just resembling stocks in a regular brokerage reason. Buying either fund would brand name an excellent long term core holding for a portfolio.
