the company will announce the split beforehand.
The company ANNOUNCES it a few weeks/months in credit. Otherwise you would have to be an insider to know that its gonna split.
There are listings. I trade every week & stock splits parsimonious nothing. Absolutly nil. Don't get stalled with an amatuer instrument of dealing with the marketplace. You'll get burned.
1. I agree that stock splits anticipate nothing to an experienced investor.
2. Some companies split their stock when the price become "too high." The problem is that different companies own different feelings in the region of what is too high. You can look at respectively companies historical stock price and see where they split back.
Stock split do indeed really mean nil to the investor, other than owning more shares at a lower price. Also, more regularly than not, when they do split, the price will drop a little more than the announced split. Let us say that you purchased the stock of a company for $100 per share. Let us also assume that this company is doing economically, and that within smaller number than 5 years the stock price reaches $200 or more. This ability that the company is growing at 20% or more per year, which is good. Let us also assume that the company have immense growth potential, like read aloud, a manufacturing company contained by a low labour cost illustrious quality country resembling India or China. Let us assume that this company needs like mad of funds to fuel its growth in the subsequent 5 year period. The nouns director of the company would like to access the equity market with a second share issue. However, he realize that the prevailing $200 per share is too high for the small investor to purchase. Therefore he decide to split each share into 2 shares of $100 respectively so that the shares can be purchased by even the small investor in the unmarked share issue, like you did 5 years ago. Now the company go ahead for its second share issue and gets over-subscribed because of its low price per share at $100 respectively, and of course, its soaring growth potential. In effect, a company which is doing well, wants more money, which hopes to continue doing okay, and which is going to sell a second or a third round of shares to its investors would be in motion for a stock split. Otherwise, it defies adjectives sense for a company to go for a stock split.

How to invest contained by stocks minus using a broker?

Question:
I am really interested in investing contained by the stock market, but I don't want to use a broker. Is nearby a website or something to go to, to invest surrounded by a companie?

Answers:
You are right not to want to use a broker. I learned that rock-hard lesson several times. Brokers make money from commissions when you buy and flog. That means they profit from 'churning' your article. Some of them have no more experience contained by picking good companies than you or me. Having a brokerage license have little to do picking great stocks.
You can do better on your own with a accurate discount brokerage firm. Try some place like Charles Schwab. (not sure if I spelled it right any.). You won't get a full service broker, but they will assist you do what you tell them you want to do and it will be seriously cheaper when you do buy or sell stock.

Before you invest, read some books on the fundamentals of making money in the flea market using tried and true methods that minimize risk and allow you to identify winning companies.
There are various good books on stock investing. The "Motley Fool" books are perfect, and the Peter Lynch books are good. Do a hunt on amazon.com and you can see what is available. There will be many reviews of relations that have read them sharing their thoughts on respectively book.

Good luck.

E*trade is a good site. There are so plentiful, you should just G00GLE "online brokers" and you can find a huge amount of sites where on earth you can buy and sell on your own for a minimal amount of money. Good luck.
Be really wise when you do this because if you are a first time investor, not using a broker is kind of close to having surgery lacking a doctor.
Sure you can trade (buy and sell) stocks on the internet, but you should be very watchful...and you should do your research. Keep up with the companies you are interested surrounded by buying, because with out a broker, you won't know when you should deal in or buy more, etc.

Using a broker is a very undamaging bet though, and they are not always incredibly expensive, and can be impressively helpful providing counsel as well as assessing your financial picture.
There are companies approaching www.etrade.com or www.schwab.com that offer internet trading for consumers.
Brokers are so cheap today that it's capably worth spending a couple of bucks....

Options Contracts re-sale?

Question:
Let's say I'm the trader and write 1 contract for .57 ($57), I write this call when the route is $2 out of the money (so the intrinsic value of the pick is lower). Let's say the subsequent day the selection gets $1 more closer to the strike price for this reason raising the intrinsic good point of the option to let's enunciate 1.00 ($100). Could I close/cancel the option contract I wrote out at .57 ($57) and write a new/different one at the fresh $1.00 option price? If I did close out my chance contract would I have to automatically exercise and flog the shares to the buyer? My question is how could I give somebody a lift advantage of the fresh higher picking price (from .57 to 1.00) ?

Answers:
Everything Gianpaolo a said in his answer is accurate, but I am not sure if he give enough detail to be clear. Let me try rephrasing like information to see if I can make it clearer.

"Let's articulate I'm the seller and write 1 contract for .57 ($57), I write this send for when the option is $2 out of the money (so the intrinsic worth of the option is lower)."

The intrinsic merit of an option is the amount that it is contained by the money, so an out of the money has no intrinsic meaning. The value i.e. does have is particular as "extrinsic" or "time" value. The sum of the intrinsic convenience (if any) and the time value is the premium rewarded when the option is traded.

" Let's say aloud the next year the option get $1 more closer to the strike price therefore raise the intrinsic value of the choice to let's say 1.00 ($100)."

The likelihood never gets closer to the strike price. Only the stock can do that. So I am reading this sentence as "Let's say aloud the next afternoon the stock price goes up $1.00 and the pick premium goes up from $0.43 to $1.00.

"Could I close/cancel the remedy contract I wrote out at .57 ($57) and write a new/different one at the new $1.00 remedy price?"

You can close the option contract that you wrote at $0.57 but it will cost you $1.00 ($100) to close it. (Use a "buy to close" or "buy to cover" transaction.) You can consequently write another contract for $1.00, but if you do that you will be in matching position that you were at beforehand you closed the original contract. Buying a contract for $100 and next selling the same contract for $100 does not convert your position at the end of the morning, it only increases the amount you income in commissions.

"If I did close out my opportunity contract would I have to automatically exercise and put up for sale the shares to the buyer?"

No. When you buy to close (cover) your obligation as an picking writer is simply transfered to the new writer.

"My interrogate is how could I take assistance of the new better option price (from .57 to 1.00) ?"

Since you be short the option and the price go up, you will have an unrealized loss when the preference price increases. You cannot do anything to eliminate that loss. Closing the contract would simply covert the unrealized loss to a realize loss.

The only instrument to "take advantage" of the better price is to write another contract at the higher price, but if you do that you are also increasing the amount of risk you are accepting. Before you opt to increase the amount of risk you accept, you should remember the stock have already fooled you by going up after you sold the first call remedy.
If your writeing a call resort, you expect the underlying stock to remain below the strike. To close out the option you wrote you want to go out and purchase that likelihood on the market. So if you wrote the contract for .57 and the preference went up within value to $1, if you considered necessary to close that contract out you would end up losing .43. Because you have credit of .57, but you paid $1 to close out the contract. At this point you could stir out and rewrite the contract at $1. If your writeing contracts please own the underlying security, you dont want to be caught uncovered. Also, the call substitute has no intrinsic meaning until the underlying security is above the strike, until that point it is adjectives time value.
As long as within is a willing buyer and a likely seller, you can do anything you want, as long as it's legal.

Don't forget that you buy at the asked price and provide at the bid price and they never are the same. If you buy rear your contract for $1, you won't be able to deal in another one for $1. The new one will cost more than $1.

You don't own to exercise the option. Options contracts can be bought and sold up until the expiration date.

What percentage should I expect to brand name on royalty fees from unprocessed gas?

Question:

There are many factor involved in typical royalty fees, but in the region of 15% is usual.
It depends on the company and their prospects. I learned the tough way that royalty trusts contained by canada that pay more than 20 percent pay packet that much because the price is depressed pending fruitless news.

I am getting 16 percent, i agree near the prior poster.
Probably about 1/8 to 3/16. Thats the norm for private mineral rights.. A definite amount is usually mandated by regulation in most states. Contact the Corporation Commissing, or doesn`t matter what agency regulates oil and gas drilling within the state. State and federal leases(Bureau of Land Management) are different. And in some states the landowner is entitled to personal use of the gas.

Is time dialation taken into consideration contained by the amortization agenda when financing briskly moving objects?

Question:
such as satellites?

Answers:
Well. Interesting question. So far satellites are not brisk enough moving for in attendance to be significant time dialation. Now for those doing the financing, I expect they would remain on Earth and therefore the time dialation to them would not event. They would still want an Earth based return, since i.e. there frame of citation.

Now let us suppose of late for a moment that instead of Earth bound investors, we instead have investors who are stationed on a space ship heading for a immediate star at 0.95 the spead of light and that they have to make an investment surrounded by the space ship in proclaim to obtain passageway. To them time dialation would have to be taken into vindication in figure their roi. But then as expected their roi is getting there. If they don't I suppose the investment would enjoy to be worked out in bankrupcy court.

Would you buy stock surrounded by the porn industry?

Question:
Just saw this special at the gym on the TV show that talks nearly stocks all afternoon. And it had a special on how porn be entering the
stock market. So I be wondering where I can find out more info on this and if you yourself would consider it a apposite investment.. I mean resembling it or not porn is what practically built the internet

Answers:
I would have to look at the be a foil for sheet and income statement first. But I do have to own that I wish I have had an interest within "Deep Throat" when it came out. You are probably too youthful to remember. Back in the 1970s, it be THE porn film. That and "Debby Does Dallas". Then nearby was the sci fi "Flesh Gordon" Heck I did not see any of them, but they of course were the agree around the water cooler posterior then.

Isn't porn sort of blasé? I can not envision anyone getting excited about it within this day and age. Well conceivably GWB.
I wouldn't buy stock in the porn industry and it didn't own anything to do with building the internet, but if you invested within it that would be OK with me.
its not really reliable
Yes.
I would not buy stocks contained by the porn industry.

I do not buy "vice" stocks such as casino stocks. I don't like the moral risk associated near them.
no. porn is horrible
In my approach to stocks I make it a point not to know what the company does. I find it distracting. I am a total technician and follow the price act alone. On the other hand, I do hold a short list of things I consider "dirty money" and would not want to be involved next to. My list today includes paw guns, gambling, wager shops, liquor, and commercial prisions. I'll add porn if it comes on the marketplace. I mean, do you own any honor?
Now thats an idea for an ETF or Mutual fund! The porno index fund!
No I wouldn't, unless it be part of a mutual fund. But it does remind me of the so call "greased hand index" No it's not what you're thinking. It is the top 30 companies which spend the most money to lobbyists on Capitol Hill. Those companies historically label twice the return of the S&P 500
No, I wouldn't. Still, it would be interesting to attend their annual meetings, I interpret...
God will ask you what were you thinking making money on such a sinful trashy lifestyle! don't buoy something so dirty.

When is the first year futures trading available for US stocks?

Question:
When is the first year futures trading available for US stocks?
Does this have any vary to stock market's behavior since then?

Answers:
G00GLE single stock futures - they hold been around for in the order of 3-4 years - they aren't very juice though - not many relatives trade them.

does it affect that stocks behavior? no. options on individual stocks affect the behavior rather more. derivatives on individual stocks during "normal" markets tend to humidify volatility because the speculators use those derivatives instead of using the stock. options and single stock futures bazaar makers will compensate the speculators position in derivatives by any buying or shorting the underlying stock.

when the market is contained by "crisis" however, these derivatives can exacerbate the crisis because the market maker experience a rush of orders, and like-wise must compensate that crush by either buying or shorting the underlying - usually pushing the stock further contained by the direction of the "crisis" or "failure"
