My husband told me to ask..?
Question:
Does anyone think that uranium will hit $200/ounce surrounded by the next couple of years?
(Ps, I usually post surrounded by Marriage/Divorce...is it any wonder?)
Answers:
Oh, definitely, but consequently our dollar will also be quite a bit cheaper too. Um, you might ask him what it would business? You don't buy uranium like gold ingots or silver (if he does you need to appointment the FBI and get the, eh, heck out of that house). We are more expected to build another oil refinery formerly we will build another nuclear reactor, and neither one is likely to occur soon. A very dignified price of uranium reduces the constraint for uranium (remember supply and demand), so a super high price manner more nuclear power plants will be shuttered (usually the ones that needed to have be in the first place)--which money demand drops. If constraint drops, then the nickname for it diminishes the support for your expensive non-commodity.
Tell him he needs to be shopping for technology companies that process it to some extent than mining companies that dig it. Whatever the price of uranium, they will be the ones making money by making it usable.
It is emphatically possible. With a possible arms race on the horizon ( because of the belligerent dealing of Iran, and Russia ), I would believe that the nations of the world will be upgrading their nuclear stockpiles.
In totting up, as Oil & Gas gets more scarce and expensive, and near guys like Chavez slowing down the supply, the requirement for nuclear generation of electricity become more urgent.
However, the road to $200/oz uranium will be fraught with lots of volatility, and unlikely to be inwardly the next 2 years as per your cross-question.
I suggest not putting more than 10-15% max of your investment into this area.
Dude... My Aunt Bertha seem to think so.
Do investors transport a hot entrepreneurs seriously?
Question:
I have have a fantastic business idea. I own checked that no one else is doing it. How does a 27 yr older female next to no entreprenurial experience convince investors to take me seriously?
Answers:
draft out your plan, and product it clear:
research
financial plan
the roi forecast and basis for it.
similar scheme comparisions
what you bring to the party.
why it will suceed.
untried business failures are extremely elevated, and those still viable after 5 yrs are slim.
Do your homework, think your hypothesis all the style through, not only the business belief, but all its ramification (marketing, growth, expenses, etc)
Get a thorough business plan together.
If you put together a strong business plan, investors will give you a look. The problem beside new entrepreneurs is they bring back ideas and presume they are great, but then basically dash rotten the details of developing the business. Investors can see this a mile away and dismiss them. Go the extra mile to develop the details, and investors will give it a biddable look.
I recommend:
1) Find a partner who can give credibility to what you are doing. This vehicle giving up ownership of the company, but gaining someone who can assist you sell the opinion. For example, if you have a great mode idea, afterwards having a partner who is a seasoned designer would really abet.
2) Have a complete and creditble business plan. This means you own to do all of the bazaar studies, competitive analysis, financial projections, cash flow projections, business/industry analysis..etc. The better your plan is, the more promising it will be accepted. You may want to receive some help contained by drafting one up. It's best to have someone who is experienced and own something like an equivalent of an MBA level.
3) If you do not have sufficient situation in the business model that you have, you can hold classes or participate contained by trade/industry groups. The more you appear to know about the industry, the more you will know how to convince the investors that you can succeed.
4) Networking. Join community groups such as chamber of commerce or the like that own wealthy individuals who may be interested within being an angel investor. Get to know them and agree to them get to know you. Then you can approach them next to your idea and they may be inclined to help you out through your relationship.
Good luck!
Just Be!
what is the concept try investing with Primerica Financial Services
1) Yes.
2) You cannot drive the Atlantis if you cannot drive a Toyota.
Hello,
I mull over that anyone will take you seriously if you really enjoy a great idea. Just produce sure to get it down in black and white. Make a solid business plan outline. Be serious and show that you are passionate more or less the idea. If it is a perfect idea, someone will invest surrounded by it.
Also, remember all of the other entrepreneurs that be rejected before they "made it big." Colonel Harland Sanders (KFC Founder) be rejected over 1,000 times before he get his first "yes." Hang in within & I wish you the best of luck!
Are "exchange-traded debt securities" superior to money flea market accounts?
Question:
My dad, now retired, is looking to live past its sell-by date his nest egg, worth somewhere around $1 mil. He has be satisified for the most part next to his no-risk money market justification, grossing him $50,000 a year, but what about those exchange-traded debt securities? Some of them (the lower rate ones) yield as much as 6 to 7.5% annually.
What are the risks associated beside these financial instruments, and approximately how often does a BBB-rated fixed income wellbeing default? Can my dad undamagingly & confidently invest in these securities?
Thanks for your oblige!
Answers:
I would not trust advice from a bunch of teenagers trying to cheat on their homework when it come to financial question.
I would research it very economically and then produce an educated judgment.
The rating on a tradeable debt security ( close to a preferred stock ), is a measure of the risk of evasion by the issuer.
Yes, you will get a bit more than money-market funds, but surrounded by return you assume a higher height of risk.
It is not possible to utter exactly if or when any issuer will default. You hold to make a reasoned judgement phone call.
I would strongly suggest you do not buy anything lower than BBB or BBB+.
Perhaps you want to look at corporate bonds, as long as you hold to maturity, you guarantee the principal. Corporate bonds similar to Boeing, rated A, are VERY past the worst, and pay nearly 5.6%.
Will a merger revolutionize the share price?
Question:
If two companies merge together will this guarantee the share price to increase? Or is there unpredictability it may decrease?
Answers:
There's a definate haphazard it might decrease the share merit. How ever, it is more likely that the merger is going to be bodes well for at least one, but for both companies.
With a merger, it involves both companies agreeing to the joining of their companies and so thins would imply that both companies would hold something to gain from the partnership.
How ever, it is not the companies that set their share price but rather the stock open market and the demand for the fresh shares. If the 'market' doesn't think that this merger is contained by the best interest of the newly formed meger, than they will not constraint the new share issue and so prices would tip out.
Share value & the stock open market is a very 'unsure' environment and the price of a share can shift simply due to rumour and speculation, rather than financial reality!
It could go any way.
If a company have been looking dodgey for a while,m but is to be merged to a more stable company, its shares may rise.
The other company's shares might plummet.
Both might fall.
There is considerable evidence that shows that M&A leisure destroys value more commonly than it creates. Management has perverse incentives to do deal - like big bonuses/share option etc. If you want to know more try G00GLE scholar (sorry Yahoo's latest ceo)
mayby. if the company that yours is merging with is worth more than yours than yes.
I would ask you rconsultant the expected outcome and if he seem unsure take your portain out untill you see the convenience either on a positive or distrustful trend and then re invest your money.
Most mergers dont work. Many of them are a product of CEO hubris and they try to bring over companies that are too big. Mergers work best if they help a company do what it does better and if the open market cap of the acquire company is within 10-15 percent of the marketplace cap of the acquirer.
What are your predictions on NIFTY for Dec 2007/2008/2009?
Question:
Answers:
hello,
For now nifty will be selection bound it is likely to trade between 4100-4300 level,no1 can predict a 2 year projection, market enjoy already delivered 15 to 16x profits.it is likely that they deliver at indistinguishable rate in the subsequent 3 years,rt now the flea market is fairly valued, but the intercontinental investors are taking more interest in indian flea market and if this continues v can see more 15x earnings contained by the next 3 years, very soon we are still in the bull run, intercontinental cues are also well, but the growth surrounded by the us bonds is quite a verbs, inflations is also low,so markets are imagined to touhc new high in the subsequent few months, infosys result will decide the bazaar trend now,as the dollar appreciations is a gr8 verbs for the tech stocks,if the result is in flash with the flea market expectation the trend will continue, but i assume that the corrections should be there time to time and i hope this will be done, sensex will not progress below 11,500 levels thats for sure, for nifty near is gr8 support at 3550 levels,.but surrounded by the near possession i dont think nifty going below 4000 spot,
NIFTY who? The only two "NIFTY"s I could find be Nifty Corp in Tokyo, who used to trade on the pink sheets, but are presently out of business altogether, and Lund Corp/NIFTY, who are not publically traded, are they?.
the going is good and nifty should be capable of cross 15,000/ by the end of this year. but here are so many ifs and buts. It is basically not possible to given any CORRECT predictions . it is purely gues work. there are so lots parameters that even experts resembling udyan mukkherjee, prakash gaba and others can only put together a guess.

I just recieved a thought giving me three options:
1. Transfer adjectives shares to a regular shareholder accout with Mellon INvestor Services.
2. Issue certificate for all full shares
3. Sell all shares and close the story ($2.00 service fee for respectively transaction involving a sale. The share price per share will be an average of adjectives the companies shares sold that day)
I have massively limited culture on stocks. can someone help please?
Answers:
Option 3 is what we did and it worked out very well. There will be taxes taken out, but the extra little cash might assistance you out during your transition.
Or you could go to resort 2, but the stocks could go agency down and you could loose most of what you have.
You should do #1.
If you are going to call for money or you want an emergency fund you now hold that option. The later thing I would do is roll it into that brokerage as your fees to deal in or purchase more would be costly. Cash never hurts to have around.
You should hold the stock and transfer it to a regular narrative brokerage account. Just brand name sure they dont charge any fees at all. Consider it your emergency fund but contained by the form of a stock. If you desperately need the money surrounded by the future, hail as the brokerage company and find out how to sell the stock online by yourself (about $10) instead of have them sell it for you (around $40). Assuming you dont touch the tale and the business is a successful one, the value of the stock will grow over time.
I'd voice the first thing to do is determine if the stock is worth slack onto and decide from here...
If you are in desperate requirement of the money #3 otherwise #1
choose no.1

Keep your eyes up, the future is great for you business magnet and pacesetter.

Even though you can make profoundly of money from etrade, it can be risky. You may burn your finger when trying it. Also, you sometimes need deeply of money to play the etrade.
If you want to make more money or stipulation money urgently, why don't you try this website out : www.simplyrichsg.com/bmb ? It can be reliable and easy. All you have need of is to pay a bit (more than $100 or perhaps less) and a computer at home. Read on if you want to find out.
Cheers! Good luck!~ =)
I suggest scottrade which have slightly lower commissions. I also wouldnt invest with anything smaller amount than $2,000 otherwise you may lose alot of your gains to fees and commissions.
The site itself will explain how it works. The issue for you surrounded by buying stocks is whether you have moderation to wait on stocks. Men typically craft less within the stock market than women because they trade too habitually and lose money to commissions.
Unless you have deeply more money than most 14 year-olds, you won't have a great deal to invest and even etrade's low commissions will eat up most gain your stocks make unless you're prepared to give up your investments alone for several years. And, seriously, who goes to an online trader so they can leave your job their money sitting for years?
That said, it's as good. They won't steal your money, but they can't--and won't--promise to kind you any. They get rewarded whatever happen. (Watch Trading Places with Eddie Murphy).

Where is the best place to invest beside online?
Question:
I'm new to investing and be wondering if some more experinced people could backing. I've been looking at places similar to Sogo Invest, Sharebuilder, E*Trade, etc. Anybody have any suggestion for me? I would sure appreciate it, thanks.
Answers:
There are profoundly of good brokerages depending on what you similar to and how you trade.
Barron's has a great article on brokerages that they publish respectively year. (Latest one was within March 6, 2006 though the 2007 article “just” came out). Kiplinger does one too.
Here’s the correlation to the 2006 Barron’s article.

Here’s the link to the spanking new Barron’s 2007 – Best online Brokers 3/5/07

For rough stuff, E*Trade, Ameritrade, and Scottrade are sufficient. For more complex trades, I'd recommend Optionsxpress, ThinkorSwim, or interactivebrokers.
Based on what you put in your interview, I'd recommend one of the first three, but all are unbelievably good. Cheapest probably is scottrade (of the larger online firms). Yes within are cheaper like interactivebrokers, but you'll enjoy to get used to their software base platform (which is doable). They're only give or take a few $1/contract on options!
Brokerages approaching Fidelity are horrible for anyone with any wearing clothes experience. They can do basic buy and market orders, but beyond that, they’ve get to be one of the worst “top” brokers out there. Not individual are most of their customer service staff ignorant within what many transactions are, but their fill are usually slow, the statements are unusable (based on “last transaction vs. current conditions!), and they take forever to resolve any issues. That said, for BASIC buy and market orders, they’re not too unpromising. It’s just a event if you want to be with a broker that can grow beside your experience.
So, decide what's momentous to you as a trader and compare the brokers! You can use the article, or go to respectively website as they all appear to have comparison charts!
And if in that are particular things that you want to mention as mortal most important to you (such as executions, cust svc, cheapest trade - which you mentioned, flexibility on allowing you to do enduring types of trades, stop and stop limit instructions, contingent orders, great graphing, what if scenario, training, etc), I'll be glad to help discuss this next to you too!
If you have any question, let me know.
Hope that help!

For that matter, you could a short time ago make a portfolio up here at http://finance.yahoo.com and track your 'pretend' portfolio slightly well.
The simply downside to these -- and it's pretty minor -- is that most of them do not account for trading costs (brokerage fees).
The 'realtime' slice is a little harder, but probably you could live with 'near-realtime?' -- If so, most of them qualify...
