If grease go to $100 per barrell as it will inside the subsequent 2 or 3 years, what is the best instrument to play it ?

Question:

Answers:
Buy stock in a bend turbine company such as Vesta Wind Systems. Normally, one would consider an oil production company a flawless investment in that casing. Also consider railroad companies. They are 7x more efficient than the subsequent most efficient estate trasportation. 100x more efficient than nouns. On the other hand $100 grease might very very well plunge the world economy into a crucial depression. The goverment might seize the domestic grease companies or place price caps on the price of grease as they did during the 70s. In that case owning grease stocks might not be such a good opinion. Heck buying stock in coal companies might be a accurate plan.
Create a mercenary army and take over a small grease producing nation
Invest in Oil & Gas services stocks: HAL or SLB
Oil field won't exist without the service companies. The emergency will increase.

Invest in Oil & Gas drillers: STO, RIG, NBR
Oil field that were previously too expensive will presently be worthwhile for drilling.

Invest in Canadian grease trusts: PWE
Expensive oil make removing it from shale more profitable. Some of these also have a nice dividend.

You could also try the big grease companies (XOM, BP, CVX). But I think in that would be a huge cry about excessive profits which is more predictable to effect these companies.
The most direct way you can play grease (to my knowledge) is an oil etf (stock ticker USO).

After that buy stock surrounded by an oil company, or an grease trust (ie a company that owns the rights to a chunk of oil producing material estate). Oil trusts often pay envelope high dividends (see SBR, BPT, HTE) and can be obedient investments even if the price of oil doesn't hit 100 contained by the near adjectives.
If oil go to $100 a barrel invest surrounded by ethanol and any other alternatives.
COP BP etc

What is the average annual return for mutual funds?

Question:
I might have the vocabulary wrong but I heard that the interest rate is around 5.5% is this correct?

Answers:
As of Dec. 29, the 7,361 U.S. diversified equity funds, which own more than $3.3 trillion in assets, have an average return of 7.16 percent, far better than the 3.51 percent increase in the Standard & Poor's 500 index for one and the same period, according to mutual funds spectator Lipper.

Funds comprising growth and core stocks outpaced more conservative value funds, while mid-cap companies outperformed both large- and small-cap funds. Mid-cap core funds have the best average return, 10.72 percent, followed by mid-cap growth funds at 10.36 percent.
===
Mutual funds do not pay an interest rate similar to savings accounts do.

A mutual fund is a fund made up of individual stocks and/or bonds. The mutual fund make money when the stocks and/or bonds inside the fund make money.

Each mutual fund is a bit different within that they have different stocks and/or bonds in them. Lately, because of a good discount, most mutual funds have clad returns. These returns could be as high as 15% or more. But, since they are tied to the open market and the market fluctuates, they can slickly loose just as much.

For better explanations of mutual funds, G00GLE "mutual fund basics". There is greatly of good information at hand.
I'll try my best reading into your question.

Mutual funds, according to wikipedia.org, is "form of collective investment that pools money from plentiful investors and invests their money in stocks, bonds, short-term money bazaar instruments, and/or other securities.".

So you could have mutual funds which invests contained by all stocks. Or mutual funds, which invests surrounded by all bonds. Or money souk mutual funds which invests in short permanent status bonds and is almost equivalent to cash.

Sounds similar to you are more interested in getting around 5% on your money. Sounds similar to you want to know more about money souk mutual funds (as opposed to stock mutual funds).

There's more info here on a glorious yielding money account, which should take you around 5.05% right now (it can change):

This depends on the assets that a mutual fund holds and what the adjectives brings. There is a wide band of returns possible, depending on what the fund invests in.

The problem beside predicting future returns is that previous returns are of little help for predicting the adjectives. Also, when you see average returns quoted, realize that it is a mathematical be a sign of. The market usually go through extensive periods of exceedingly high returns followed by extensive period of very low returns. The average is somewhere contained by between, even though the market did not in reality behave that way contained by any time period.

For example, the average unadulterated return (return minus inflation) of the U.S. stock market is 7%. However, at hand are almost no 10-year periods of time within which the market give exactly a 7% real return. It usually have a decade or two of 10 - 15% returns followed by 0 - 5% real returns, or something similar to that.

There have be 3 different 20-year periods surrounded by the 20th century where stocks give a real return of nil. During that 20 years stocks only kept up beside inflation, no more. Also, there be a 15-year period starting surrounded by the late 1960's where on earth both stocks and bonds gave NEGATIVE average unadulterated returns during that 15 year period. Investors be actually worse sour 15 years later, contained by terms of the purchasing power of their money. A lot of investors forget that these types of things can occur again in the adjectives. There is no such thing as an expected bazaar return.

"Forex investing" surrounded by general is a scam; next to stocks, you can analyse how a business is being run and receive intelligent guesses as to what the future probably holds; near bonds, you can gauge the issuers "fiscal health". Forex trading, though, is purely guesswork & gambling. The solely people making reliable money within forex trading are the scheisters selling "Forex trading systems"...
Oh, I love people close to Thin - someone that THINKS they know how the world truly runs. He mentions that you can analyze stock and make an intelligent conclusion, which is true, but answer me this Thin - how come the average idiot bid up stocks during the tech boom, companies that had no revenues, be brand new and have NO financial history to review, yet they share prices go through the roof? Was that intelligent? Alas, the bloodbath in the tech sector that followed is proof that the majority be not acting intelligently.

You get relatives like Thin who trade the equities market, make some money and reflect on they're financial geniuses and consequently hope into the forex markets and lose money and consequently blame the market as man a scam. Hey Thin, guess what, a currency can be evaluated just similar to a stock. The currency is the "stock" of the country, all you enjoy to do is analyze the country fundamentals to gauge what the currency should be doing.

Oh and Thin, no event how you slice it ALL trading, whether it be equities, futures, options or forex is nought but an educated guess. You can analyze a stock till doomsday, and contained by the end, it's nought more than a best guess. I've seen stocks that hold had strong fundamentals and everything within the book says it should be rising, all the same, it's declining.

What folks like Thin fall short to recognize is that forex is probably THE HARDEST souk to trade. In reality, equities are for the "children" of the investment arena, for the babies of the hobby. The derivatives and FX markets are for the big boys, the adults. The majority of folks DO NOT have what it take to trade forex. I have see moderate success contained by FX and I'm just a lowly working stiff. I've met race that trade FX full time for a living and they are just average citizens who grew up in middle class family. The difference is they lost money, but they continued to learn and develop a trading plan and stuck next to that plan come heck or high river.

Now, where Nick Mark's system is a scam or not, I don't know. There is not furtive formula to be successful in trading. To be a nouns in trading requires discipline, developing a trading plan and rules and sticking to that plan and rules no concern what.
Don't know about Mark's article but I learned almost the Forex the safe path with this free trial.

All investing populace, could some report me are noc surrounded by a cup and manipulate, double bottom,or flat foot.?

I need to know what particuliar chart contained by NOC is trading in.

Are you referrig to NOC, Northrop Grumman?

Currently, stock is within a consistent uptrend, above both its 50 and 200 day moving average. It is making different high after exotic high, and it seem to be in bull mode.

I'll start to draw from concerned if the stock starts to go down below the 50 and 200 daylight moving average (the blue and red line within the top frame of the chart I gave you within the link).

We are in the middle of an aerospace (civilian and military) cycle and NOC is cut of it.

Foreign funds are supposed to put in diversification benefits. How come they seem to be to track to the US so readily?

Question:

Answers:
because the big institutions are investing there also. When they verbs their money out, they pull it from where on earth ever they have their money. If their money is adjectives over the world, then they verbs their money from all over the world.
They may see to track US funds, but you benefit / or not, by the diversifivation and the different currency that they are held contained by, as has be the case over the recent past few months witht he weakening US$. Thats the best I can answer your interrogate, without going into a study about it. Take meticulousness, and invest carefully!!
Since we've gone worldwide, money is flowing to the markets where on earth investors feel the return is best. Americans own been pouring money into foreign stock funds adjectives this year and since many invest poorly -- chasing the hot dot, selling at the low price, etc. -- some correlation of US and foreign stocks is to be expected. But emerging flea market stocks, even though they've fallen along beside everything else yesterday and today, are still far and away the best performers. So diversification benefits own not been entirely lost.

Are timeshares a right or bleak investment?

Question:

Answers:
Not a good belief. You'll find that when you are being seduced by the timeshare company, they'll donate you a lot of nice perk but the reality is that once you buy surrounded by, you'll have abundantly of restrictions and very little equity into an investment that might earn great rewards elsewhere. Some of the restrictions may include fixed weeks of availablility, blackout dates during holidays & festival, required 6 month advanced booking and huge penalties upon rash termination of their contract. If I were you, I'd pick up your money and invest it into a resort home that you would purchase as a second home. You could rent it out (perhaps by the week) and still be able to utilize it when you want to bring back away. At least you'd find a nice tax write sour and would be able to gain equity over the long heave.
timeshares are terrible. and they are knotty to sell.
impossible. Just go to the timeshares meating and take free stuff.
Bad.
Absoulutely TERRIBLE. Take a look on eBay, you can buy timeshares that cost $10,000-$20,000 for $500-$3000 and they still are hard to go.
they are a bad investment, my personal experience
I truly own one amd am very well that I bought it. I got exactly what I looked-for with much flexibility. I bought through Hilton hotels which runs on a point system. Basically, travelling surrounded by the off season will stockpile me points which I can transfer to another year or that I can verbs into the Hilton Honors account which I hold. This is a win-win situation for me. The biggest mistake people engineer when buying timeshares is they buy ONE in Florida which have no other properties. Always buy with a top hotel hand. You will have lots of flexibility. They recover you money in the long run because the price of the apartments that you are renting would be mammoth if you were paying for it out of pocket. A word of notify: There is something called a "home resort" which is what you'll be paying upkeep on every year or every other year. I bought mine in Las Vegas because the fees are cheaper than anywhere else. Florida and hawaiian resorts tend to enjoy very high-ranking maintenace fees. The investment in a timeshare is not a for profit thought. Most cannot be sold because people habitually buy the crappy ones with no flexibility. Ones bought through hotel chains will be easier to trade if you need to. maintain in mind this is similar to buying a house contained by that the price today will not be the price tomorrow.

Which produces a stronger uptrend from a hi-tech standpoint?

Question:
A stock that is within a longterm uptrend and takes a dip (enter at support line)

Or a stock surrounded by a downtrend breaking a resistence line to the upside?

Thanks

Answers:
neither... you are looking at too little information to spawn a decision. From what you provided, both stand an equally obedient chance of a sustained activate. You need to bear into consideration how the weekly charts look like and look deeper into the internal momentum beside customised momentum indicators to make a better judgment.

http://www.mastersoequity.com

http://www.optiontradingpedia.com...
Both seem to me to be a foolish instrument to pick stocks; in the first valise you are buying a stock that has stopped going up and is going down, within the second case, a stock that have been going down but presently may be going up. Why would either of those be a worthy investment? Pure speculation.
Do yourself a favor, learn nearly the basics of the companies you invest surrounded by, especially the earnings history and the forecast for adjectives earnings by the professional analysts (all available on Yahoo finance), consequently invest in companies whose proceeds prospects and valuation are attractive. There is a great little book called 'Securities Analysis' which lays out the nitty-gritty, and it is well worth the price.

How do you souk a Regulation D investment offering to accedited investors?

Question:
How do you market a Regulation D offering? Since the SEC rules articulate there is no "general" solicitation to the common public allowed, what marketing methods are used to reach endorsed investors?

Answers:
A placement agent is usually hired because they have a catalogue of accredited investors that they hold a pre-existing relationship with and, in consequence, arguably, when they contact those investors, it does not constitute genearl solicitation.

Other than you looking up contacts you already have that are expected accredited investors and using a placement agent, in attendance is unfortunately not much you can do and be pretty comfortably inwardly the law.

However, this is a greatly grey area. For instance, virtually adjectives private equity funds are Reg D offerings and private equity publications often run articles or at tiniest news blurbs wise saying "Greedy Sharks Management is in the process of raise Greedy Sharks IV, a late stage buyout fund." This is potentially a standard solicitation -- some argue that it isn't because private equity publication X may only allow subscribers who state they are qualified investors but that's a pretty unclear argument. Other places may place your PPM on a website where on earth there is solitary access for people who submit evidence they are certified investors and pay a per annum fee -- but that's not clear whether its protected any.

Bottom line -- if you are raise funds for an existing operating company with actual historical financials and for some aim debt financing is not available to you and you don't have contacts for an equity round, probably a placement agent is your best bet.

Search using www.yahoo.com/search
I don't know if this is the travel case for the investment offering you are describing, but in Private Equity and Venture Capital offerings, the investment organization firms would issue a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) to solicit potential clients. These are not regulated by the SEC, but you probably would need to hire a placement agent who would aid within the preparation of the PPM and the subsequent marketing to "accredited investors".
Contrary to the proposal of The Whiz, Reg D offerings ARE subject to SEC rules, as you know, and those rules limit the number and type of offerees. An offering memorandum is prepared, and respectively copy numbered to control the distribution. In short, you market it as your lawyer tell you to flea market it, or you can create huge problems. If you don't already have a register of accredited investors, you are probably wasting your time.

All investing relations, could some speak about me are noc contained by a cup and touch, double bottom,or flat platform.?

Question:
I need to know what particuliar chart surrounded by NOC is trading in.

Answers:
Agree next to EZ Traders - none of the above. But there is more than one course to interpret charts. Looks like NOC broke out of a consolidation on 1/23 but run into trouble pretty soon, setting into a series of short bases, or an ascending platform, hugging the 50 DMA.
None of the above. It is simply in an uptrend.

http://www.ez-traders.com
Charting is bunk. So it hardly matter. Charting is like studying historic lottery numbers to try and predict future champion numbers. There is no connection. If a companies stock price chart shows a clear & classic "squirrel climbing the birdfeeder" cut-out, but then the CEO is convicted of fraud, it just matters!
I answered you surrounded by another question.

http://stockcharts.com/charts/gallery.ht...

It is currently contained by an uptrend, above both the 50 and 200 day moving average (the blue and red row in the top frame contained by the chart link above). I'd be concerned if it starts going down below the 50 and 200 afternoon moving average.

It is making new illustrious after new illustrious, a good article.

We are in the middle of a great aerospace replacement cycle and NOC is division of it.

If you are a long term investor, look at the fundamentals first. But double checking beside the chart and technical analysis is great. At the minimum, I close to to buy stocks with apt fundamentals that are trading above their 200 day (and repeatedly 50 day as well) moving average.
