what is one of the best etfs available?
Question:Which is one of the best exchange transfer funds to invest contained by?Answers:
ETF's usually represent PASSIVE investment. That is, they follow an index, with a fixed rule and thus label little or no use of manager's judgment. Then, respectively ETF return depended on the underlying index and therefore have to do with the risk plane.
The "BEST" ETF can not be defined in proper terms, but instead contained by terms of risk/reward, investment horizon and risk preferences, which within turn has to do near the level of richness as compared beside desired richness, sources of income, etc.

varible annuities as an employer sponsored 401k?
Question:Answers:
There are pros and cons of variable annuities as an investment. I expect the key here is whether your employer have a matching program (like you contribute 5%, and they clash 5%). If yes, you should still join, inconstant annuities or not, you are getting free money from them. If there is no harmonious, you should forget about them and get underway your own 401K account else where on earth and invest in regular mutual funds yourself.
Other Answers:
Sounds resembling an absolutely ruinous idea, except illegal. The "tax-deferral" benefit of VAs is already present surrounded by a normal 401k. Moreover, 401k mutual funds' expense ratio will undoubtedly be lower than a VA's expense ratio.
The only benefit of a VA within such an account would be the annihilation benefit, which you will likely hold already in some form of separate group possession life insurance, or other time insurance policy.
I believe the IRS and the SEC already restrict offerings of VAs in retirement accounts... heaps companies were sued for such practices contained by the last five years or so!?

Life & experience selling investment warning. Are you asking if they are a good investment opiton? I own been administering 401(k) plans since they be started in the mid 80's. I am not a lover of variable annuities, but some empire like them because they provide a predictable income at retirement. They are becoming more popular in a minute. They seem so flowing and that is slice of the appeal, along with big sales policy of their sponsors.
Typically the adminsitrative costs are higher than surrounded by a typical mutual fund type investment, and they are run by insurance companies who typically build commission for sales inhabitants into the cost structure. It is hard to track their actual operation, and a lack of transparency you seize with other investments.
Your investment portfolio have to reflect lots things. Your age, how long you have until you retire, your skilfulness to withstand risk in investment, and how various other sources of income you will have contained by retirement. Would have to know more to sustain you.

http://www.guardingyourwealth.com/annuities/articles/GMWB.htm not a bad choice. i've put a chunk of my portfolio into ing inconstant annuities. they mimic mutual funds for diversity, but offer you an leeway to annuitize after a period of years. the amount to annuitize is collectively the higher of a guaranteed rate of return or the actual merit of the mutual funds named within the annuity. it's a great choice for those persons who are late-comers to 401(k), within their late 30's or 40's. suggest you look seriously at this type investment.
What will take place to GM?
Question:Answers:
Big question. GM is not a contender for bankrupcy quite but. They have be trying to raise money by selling some of their assets and reducing their fixed expenses, but it does not addresss the fundamental management/marketing issue which is that they appear to lose money every time they sell a coup¨¦, and have not be able to come up next to a desirable product line. It is a in tears case of a corporation that have been so complacent for so long, that they don't seem to be to even realize how to capitalize on their strength, which is greatly improved level (see JD Power research). I would think that they enjoy to shrink considerably, sell (or even make a contribution away) non profitable brands such as Saab, and end up beside maybe basically two car lines, one popular that would combine Pontiac and Chevrolet, and a luxury division such as Cadillac, and a truck row. I do not buy the argument that is human being floated by GM that "there is no money within the car business". In yesteryear ten years alone, Hyundai, Kia, Chrysler, and Nissan have come put a bet on from the dead, and Toyota is building hundreds of thousands of vehicle in North America, profitably. Why not GM? Why is command not given the boot?

why do stock price dance up at the train of the year?
Question:Answers:
first of all this is NOT other true .. this was call a December effect or Christmas effect ... this was because mutual fund companies want to do porthole dressing, by buying stocks that were not surrounded by their portfolio. As an example if everyone knows G00GLE did okay last year , afterwards no mutual fund manager desires to look like he does not hold G00GLE in the portfolio .. so they may buy some stock .. and hence it may travel up
however this is not always the baggage .. if it was next everyone will just get rid of short on dec 1st and buy on jan1st.

What is the beta of a small 3MM Software and services company?
Question:Beta is the mesure of volitility and used in finantial calculation.Answers:
If this company is public and its stock is traded on a stock exchange, you can find its beta (vs. S&P500) on Yahoo! finance or other financial pattern sites.
If you are interested in its beta compared to some other indices, you will have need of to compare the stock's price movement over a long period of time to the specific index concerned. Most finance/investment manual book will teach that subtraction.
If this stock is not public, I don't think you can find a beta as it have no price history for the analysis. Or you can pick another software company of similar size that is public and use its beta as a comparable.
Hope this help. Good luck.

what is the best process to put aside money?
Question:Answers:
From each paycheck (weekly or bi-weekly), help yourself to out 10% of your earnings and place it into a disc (Certificate of Deposit). Some banks allow you to approachable an account near a minimum of $500, others $1000. I recommend a CD to a regular reserves account or bond, because near a CD if you cancel any money before the old age date, there's a huge service charge fee. That should specifically help you reclaim, and simultaneously increase your income.

what is trigger price contained by stock bazaar ?
Question:Answers:
Trigger Price is a generic term that applies to trades of adjectives kinds of investments - not simply for derivatives.
There are different types of ways you can trade ( Let's use stock for discussion ).
If you want to buy shares in a company, you can buy it at the current going rate ...Called Market Order
If you surmise the current price is too high and the share price will come down, you can choose that price and place an directive called Limit Order. But the problem next to this order is, the price may never come to that Limit Price and your will never be executed.
The above check price can also be construed as Trigger Price, as it will trigger buy for your order.
But, it mostly applies to another type of lay down called Stop Loss ( Limit ) Order, near a couple of it's own variations.
If you don't want to sit surrounded by front of your computer all sunshine long, watching the ticker for price...what you can do is....place a Stop Market Order or Stop Limit Order, with a Trigger Price.
For Example...articulate...the share of your favorite company is currentlyy trading at $100/share. But your gut says, it go up too much too far...and I am more comfortable buying it at $90/share. So you place a Limit order to buy 100 shares at $90/share. After work you come home and find that the afternoon low was $90.25 and finally closed at $95 for the year. Your order never get filled because you looked-for to buy ONLY at $90 and you feel resembling you missed the boat by 25 cents.
Stop Market/Limit Order comes to your rescue.
Early that day, if your gut have said..$90/share is a good price, but I am okay next to $92/share too, but definitely NOT $100/share. So, what you should hold done is place a Stop Market/Limit Order with $92 as the trigger price.
Now..if you have placed Stop Market Order for $92...as soon as the price crosses $92/share your order would own been executed. But since it become a MARKET ORDER at the trigger price, you PURCHASE PRICE maybe $92 or $90.25 or even $95.
All your $92 did be trigger the execution your order, which converts into a Market lay down at that price.
Instead, you could have placed a Stop Limit Order, for a specific $$$ amount, even after your directive is triggered by $92.
FYI...Only market demand guarantees execution
Other Answers:
a predetermined price at which a stock is sold.
ex. if my wal-mart stock goes below 34 dollars vend it.
When a stock hits a trigger price, it triggers and order to be executed at that price, or the open market price, or a different specified price.
It is mainly for derivatives. After a pre-defined spot price which we send for "trigger price" is hit from top or bottom, the derivative becomes "live"
How do I invest within gold ingots?
Question:I want to invest in gold ingots. What is the best kind to purchase? I see gold ingots bars at 24K. Is that dutiful? Should I invest in pure nugget?Answers:
The best way to own a precious metal is through a diversified metals fund, approaching the Franklin Gold & Precious Metals Fund or the Evergreen Precious Metals Fund. Another way is through a diversifed commodity fund, resembling the DWS Scudder Commodity Security Fund.
As for buying the bullion itself, good luck, you will never find a provider that will give you it's true worth when it's time to provide, and anyway, why would near 30-year high be a buying signal to you anyway? Are you insane?
Better to buy a diversifed series of properly asset allocated high-quality, low expense mutual funds. That's how you should be investing, not jump on some hot fad close to metals. Gold and other precious metals should only ever sort up 5-10% of your overall portfolio, depending on your risk tolerance. They are a good diversifer and an inflation beat about the bush, not a way to get hold of rich quick.
Hope this help!

A better way is to purchases shares of an ETF which tracks the price of gold ingots. For example, GLD in the US flea market.
Another way is to purchase through an online company and enjoy them store the gold for you. You can buy and supply online. For example, Kitco (kitco.com).

There are many option.
Buy gold coins directly from dealer.
Buy gold bar.
Buy gold mutual funds.
Gold mutual funds is the best approach. You don't enjoy to store your coins or bars. Selling mutual funds shares are much comfortable than trying to sell gold ingots coins or bars.

A day when three types of derivative contract (futures or options) on matching underlying asset are exercised. Since trading in underlying intensifies prior to exercise of derivative, there's deeply of trade in this asset, which increases volatility, which routine even more trade, etc.
The reason is that meaning of derivative is directly linked to price of underlying at exercise date, so big player try to influence the price via buying (price up) or selling (price down) of underlying.
