Investing Questions and Answers

How should I invest my money?

Question:I'm looking for any type of savings account/ CD/ mutual fund that have the highest possible interest rate. I've hear people gossip about mutual funds that guarantee an 18% return. Do these type of funds really exist?

Answers:
The frail saying holds true for investing "If it's too honourable to be true, it probably is". Anyone guaranteeing 18% is probably operating some scam or fraud. They may be giving out misleading information as in their fund returned 18% surrounded by the past or something. I'd stay away.

If you want a big yield reserves or CD rationalization, check out ING direct. It's an online bank you correlation to your normal branch guard account. That's probably one of the safest places to place your money.

If you are likely to take more risk, the stock open market historically returns 8-10% over time...An index fund or the Vanguard total stock market index fund may concede that over a period of time.

Individual stocks let go the highest but are also the riskiest. These are definately more exciting but you requirement to be able to switch the ups and downs of the market.

You enjoy to decide how much rick you are liable to take. But stay away from mutual funds or investments that guarantee something crazy..also, avoid adjectives penny stocks.

Best of luck.

Other Answers:
I've been contained by the investment business for more than 20 years and I have NEVER see a guaranteed rate of return of 18%. Be careful and view the semantics! Those types of "guarantees" are not really guarantees, and you only receive a return on your investment commensurate next to the level of risk you adopt, among other things.

It all depends on how much risk you're inclined to take. I'd be remarkably surprised if a fund was offering 18% near no risk. The highest I've see on no-risk investments has be about 4.75 to 5%.

Don't overlook index or tracker funds. These are regularly under-promoted, because the charges are usually lower, but this means that more of your money get invested, and this outweighs any benefit a managed fund may hold got you (not solitary that, many manage funds actually do worse than the trackers).

Don't forget - never put money contained by a risky investment that you cannot afford to lose.

I am not a financial adviser, and these are a short time ago general tips, not guidance for your situation. Take with sodium chloride. I know a guy that thought he be in a guaranteed program making around 18%. Then the command stepped in and closed the total thing down. He have money tied up in frozen accounts for the final six months. If you want something safe near a decent return check out I Bonds.

what are the best ways of multiplying money beside minimum toll liability? serious answers please!?

Question:

Answers:
Unfortunately no one here can answer that for you. It is too dependent upon your personal circumstances. The charge code does not permit answers resembling this without mention to your situation.

I will give you some topics to check on.

Annuities (usually fees outweigh due effects)
Life Insurance (can be useful if properly used, wounding if not)
Starting a business
Roth IRA
Tax Free Bonds (not generally a virtuous way to multiply money)
Margin debt
Charitable trusts for those near very markedly high web worths. (You can give away the money and keep hold of it too, it almost works like a con man set it up but it is valid if you follow the rules)
Maxing out retirement plans.
Converting gain to capital gain and qualified dividends.

Second you should be minimizing costs not taxes. Taxes are a cost but can at times actually be the lowest of the evils. They can even at times be your friend if you do it correctly and you are in the right circumstances. You should consider the relationship of gain to costs, not gain to taxes.

Other Answers:
Go to Las Vegas Viva Las Vegas!

Municipal bonds are exempt from Federal taxes and within most cases, state taxes. You would have to check your own state to know their rules.

By the process, in response to your first answer, winnings from making a bet are taxed.

Depends on where on earth you are but you can make investments through a trust fund that you set up.
Best suggestion i own would be T-bills and/or consult a financial adviser ( he'll know more - as i said it adjectives depends) You will pay federal rates no matter what you do but you might know how to lower you state tax.) Real estate investment

how does trading grease futures work?

Question:

Answers:
"Futures" are just contracts for a distribution of a certain commodity (oil, contained by this case) for a "future" delivery. If grease prices never changed, then a grease futures contract would be the base price of grease plus some storage cost and administrative fees.

But this would make for some pretty dull trading and, within fact, grease prices do change -- and sometimes they amend a LOT. Like all commodiities, the price is a function of the supply of the commodity v. the constraint for that commodity. If supplies are short (e.g. OPEC announces it will cut production by 20%), prices will typically go up. If constraint goes down (e.g. Big Oil, Inc. announces it can synthesize grease from old AOL disks, thus making grease as accessible as water), prices for the commodity go down.

A trader may buy an grease futures contract (an agreement on a certain amount of grease at a certain point surrounded by the future) in the expectation that the price of grease will rise. If it does, the contract may be worth more. Since the trader doesn't pay the full amount of the contract, but just a small percentage, the trader has a large amount of leverage and their profits (and losses) are much greater than had they simply bought grease itself. (You can also SELL the commodity first, planning to buy back the contract latter when/if the price goes down -- a process specified as "shorting".)

All commodities trading is a "zero-sum game". For every dollar won, someone loses a dollar. Futures trading is a truly excellent way to lose money within a stunningly fast posture.

What is the best course to invest contained by mutual funds?

Question:without paying difficult than necessary control fees?

Answers:
You can open accounts at Vanguard or Fidelity, both enjoy lower expense ratios compared to the competition. Most funds own a minimum initial investment of $2500, unless it's for an IRA. You can set up automatic deductions to buy into the fund monthly.

Alternately, you can buy ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). There may be an ETF that tracks a specific mutual fund you are looking at. Vanguard have a huge list on their trellis site. You can buy the ETFs through a discount online broker like scottrade.com or etrade.com. You wage per transaction but the maintenence fees are usually slightly lower than buying an actual mutual fund.

Other Answers:
Do it online. They would charge you less money and beside upon commitement some of them might even permit you try it for free but go on G00GLE.com and put contained by free stock market.

But my personal suggestion if this is your first time then believe you putting in 10,000 dollars and monitor the news the daily and everything and then see how your 10,000 grows if it grows afterwards keep it going save then you have need of to hit the books again. but since its olden christmas and everyone is broke i wouldn't invest now.....agree to the month pass afterwards do your buisness

Answer these question for yourself:

1) What is my financial objective? Am I saving for my childs wedding ceremony 15 years from now or, do I want to store for retirement? The answer will tell you which "Financial vehical" is right for you (Indiviudal, Joint, Trust, UGMA, College Savings, Retirement). This also tell you about the risk you're feeling like to take. If you're not need the money for years, then you can switch more risk. If you expect to use the money to take the ancestral to Disney land subsequent year, be more cautious next to the investment choice.

2) How much do I have to invest? If you hold greater than $4,000.00 (Vanguard's minimum for all up to date accounts/funds) or, Can you put money away monthly from your paycheck/bank account? Most fund companies will agree to you do an automated investment with them providing you sign an agreement to collect the minimum in a set time frame.

How can I know from the internet the email address of the rich?

Question:

Answers:
Let's say you're looking for the email address of the CEO of Verizon, for example. Go to yahoo nouns, lookup Verizon, and click "Key Statistics" on the left side of the page. Notice the first name of the CEO in the box on the right.

Next hunt, using G00GLE preferably, "@verizon.com" and look for an email addr of a Verizon corporate citizen, not a customer. You'll notice at the bottom of the first page (20th entry) "Mary De La Garza at 972-453-7016 or mary.delagarza@verizon.com" .. So, extrapolate, and determine the email address for the CEO of Verizon is: ivan.seidenberg@verizon.com. Hope that example help.

Other Answers:
First become a rich than than the richest email ID will come to you just normaly
If your contained by the u.k look at the newspapers that print the rich list.
Then find the company they work for or own then move about to that websites contact details.
well anyone near money isnt going to advertise their email Saying hey im rich heres my email address
I'm afraid "the rich" don't hold a collective email address like some nice of pseudo-borg hive entity.

Unfortunately they each enjoy their own. And it probably filters unrecognised email anyway.

I'd recommend using a third bash, such as a company, fan-club, etc
Look for those with sage words for they are rich with suitability and it may be that they can give you direction that is worth far more than financial gain.

Why can't you buy stock directly from the company?

Question:Why must you use a broker/trading website? And from whom does the broker purchase stock? If you can buy stock directly from a company, how do you do that?

Answers:
Certain companies all you to buy stock directly thought them via a verbs agent/bank. Companies like GE, IBM, Target, Exxon, Microsoft, etc enjoy such plans. The best way to see if the stock you are interested within offers a direct stock purchase, shift to their website and look under the Investors information connection. They will tell you if you can and how to buy direct.

You can also travel to several known companies that be in command of direct stock purchase and look at their client list and buy direct.
www.equiserve.com is the company that manage Exxon's purchase plan along with several hundred other companies. The network site lists the minimum amount and also the minimum if you want to invest monthly. You also own the option of reinvesting your dividends. I one-sidedly use Equiserve (Now Computer Share) to buy my Exxon stock monthly.

Mellon INvestors also manages direct stock purchase for masses companies. I use them as well for another company I invest contained by monthly.

The Bank of New York manages the stock purchase plan for GE.

Buying direct is not just cheaper but also a nice way to amass the stock monthly and reinvest its dividends. For example, Exxon pays for all transactions except when I want to supply, which is $15. Other companies charge as little as $1 or $2 per transaction.

Other Answers:
You can't because most times the company is not in possession of the stock which you desire to buy. Broker's job is to meeting a buyer and seller. The trader could be anyone or any entity. You give bid, and the broker match it with a seller's ask price. You can't buy stock from the company because they don't own ownership of the stock. If you are buying the shares of a private company then, yes you may be capable of do so.

Stock Exchange?

Question:In stock market how can we multiply the fair merit of share of company. sorry for my english

Answers:
Very good put somebody through the mill, but one with a million answers. The tolerant MARKET value is easy--that's the price it is trading at in a minute (unless you own more shares than you could sell on the marketplace without varying the price). To compute the real attraction of the company, you need to evaluate the company's talent to earn money, the risk involved, and compare that to other investments that you could make. There's deeply of guess work in the calculation, which is why experts differ on whether a stock is a good buy.

Why is the city of Santa Clarita, California so expensive at the moment?

Question:

Having recently departed the area, I know first foot that the quality of energy there is enormously good, low crime, accurate schools and (formerly) muted traffic. With the housing boom there the traffic is much worse, but it is still better than other places proximate.

Although it used to be a "bargain" compared to places in the Valley, I devise the prices rose faster and the prices are more in flash now. As long as the school stay good and crime stays low it will be an attractive nouns to live in.

Other Answers:
because santa claus comes near first.

lol, I don't know. Inflation, over population?
It's no more expensive than everythere else near by... San Fernando Valley, Saugus. It's Southern California and prices will verbs go up as long as population grows, and constraint is ahead of supply..

pls push for to earn money.?

Question:I am un-employed,, and wana to invest professionally in NSE / NSC contained by India. How much minimum amount require to earn minimum Rs.10, 000/- per month. And also advise how to choose best socks to buy.

Answers:
NSC give poor returns like 9% per annum. instead mutual funds approaching Tata Mutual, Sundaram Mutual could be good to remain invested. But you should jump into MFs if you can remain invested for atleat 1 year. They can give you anything between 12% to 100% returns. About investing contained by stocks, this is a very volatile time, but if you can put some wherewithal go for frontline companies resembling ITC, Bajaj, RIL, ONGC, ICICI Bank.. these are expensive buys but companies like RIL and ONGC once in a while fail.

But, believe me there's no short-cut honest track to make money contained by 2 mins. You also need restraint. Why don't you think just about giving tutions, or even looking for a call-center job. The latter may not be a bed of roses, but if you are contained by dire need impart it a try.
