Will Intel regain flea market share over AMD?

Question:

Answers:
Intel's market share is still reasonably large but AMD have certainly pulled a coup. They own some significantly better products. The problem with exceedingly large companies is that they enjoy so much inertia that sometimes they get outmanuvered.

I do not know whether Intel will regain their souk share. Personally, I have not bought a computer surrounded by years with an Intel cpu. I am thoroughly happy near AMD. I suspect that I am not the only one.

Intel have not rolled over just nonetheless. They just are not keeping up next to the competition.

Other Answers:
most likely not.

no Yes.

I've thought for a long time that Intel's price is locked within an artificial cycle, getting dropped down from time to time by bad reports so someone can buy it up at firesale prices. it's a biddable company.

how to take rich stale of stock?

Question:i have $1000 i want to invest. what are my likelihood of making a small investment triple without paying a big time broker?

Answers:
marketocracy.com is a fun and cool site where on earth you can make mock trades. Your friends can connect in on a "club" and everyone go head to boss as a mutual fund manager. I cogitate you are given $100k to invest, one stock cannot be more than 25% of the portfolio, while the rest have to be smaller quantity than 5% or so. It's fun because it allows you to compete just beside your friends and the site will tell you if you are battering the S&P500 or not.

CHeck out investors.com if you want good info on how to buy the right stocks at the right time. Open an online discount brokerage article like scottrade.com . Trades are merely $7. That way you won't own to pay the $50+ the big brokers charge.

With well-mannered research and a bit of luck you can triple your $1000. I did that with Apple. I bought it at $17.

Best of luck.

Other Answers:
You know your probability better than anyone. I'd spend some time researching the basic trends, and figure out exactly how it all works.

Even try playing around next to free websites that let you 'fantasy' trade and see how it adjectives works.

That's my guess.

Stock Market take a Nose Dive. Anyone else concerned?

Question:I'm watching my investments languish. If the word is good; the bazaar goes down because of inflation fears. Is the report is bad; the souk goes down because of consumer sentiment. I suggest I should have head the "Sell In May and Go Away" advice. Your thought?

Answers:
I wouldn't frenzy yet. The souk will always hold its peaks and valley. I would think most investors are probably still up year-to-date. I did re-adjust my portfolio and sold some individual stocks and bought into some diversified etf's and closed finish funds. You know, to lessen the volatility.

Other Answers:
Don't panic......you one and only gain or lose if you sell.......Get rich slowly...

Nothing to verbs about. Well, not within the market, anyway.

If you apprehend economics, and watch parliament policy, you can see that Washington is truly feeding the inflation monster, and even if we don't play the winter sport that analysts do, it is reasonable to assume that inflation will become a problem at some point. That said, it doesn't receive all stocks losers. The knob is to diversify internationally, and keep from have all your eggs within one basket. It other amuses me how people that are so scrupulous to seek safekeeping by diversifying industries, often put adjectives their money in one country. Remember this: simply cuz you live here doesn't mean it's safer. There are copious economies that may resourcefully be stronger in the coming years. Spread your money around.

But, the bigger picture is this: you'll never win within the stock market by buying elevated and selling low. Market drops are the time you should think roughly getting IN, not OUT.

Yes, I am completely concerned. I have $100,000 portfolio to verbs about. Thank for asking! I read on the Stock Trader Almanac more or less Sell in May and Go Away. It is work contained by the past, but the market right now are not equal like surrounded by the past. Lately, I am raise some cash, and move to the sideline until the market settle down. Many predicting this months. The problem is it took more time then regular. But no one can predict exact peak. Read this website to have some contraries inference.

The reality is that the bazaar will probably keep heading down for the subsequent couple of months. Keep for a few years. You shouldn't expect more then 15% a year unless you own some information you would like to share. Looks similar to your 'perfect timing' was a moment or two off. I really wouldn't verbs about the market's current condition though. ; )

A dissemble fund is a special type of mutual fund that tries to make money whether the stock marketplace goes up or down. Is G00GLE a flawless stock to invest contained by?

Question:What stocks would you pick for 2006?

Answers:
certainly! a fitting 1..

its an ever expanding company... so.. returns may be slow initially.. but the prices r bound to go up!!

Other Answers:
Damn well-mannered one
yes it is good one
No, it is road overpriced. Its P/E is 99, way too lofty.
If you can stomach ups and downs, GOOG is a great investment. It's a high growth company beside a lot of growth disappeared. If you buy it, buy for the long term..short occupancy there is a great deal of volitility. I have owned it since concluding year and plan to continue holding and possibly adding together more on dips.

For 2006, I am bullish on Whole Foods Market (WFMI), G00GLE, eBay, Starbucks (sbux), Apple Computer (AAPL), Panera (PNRA), and Genentech (DNA).

More speculative/risky, I like Neoware Systems (NWRE)
It be, but it's overpriced now. Some culture say it will be in motion up to $600. I don't know about that.

What is the best short residence investment?

Question:I want to invest a small amount of money for 6-18 months. I can invest up to $1000.

My bank have certificates of deposit that administer .45% for under $1000, and 2.5% for over $1000.

Is in attendance anything that can get me better return than that, for such a small amount of money, and for a short amount of time? Even 1% better?

Answers:
It depends on how much risk you want and how much you are hoping to gain.

The safest would be CDs. Check ingdirect.com, Their 18 month CDs are surrendering about 4.5%
http://home.ingdirect.com/products/products.asp?s=OrangeCD

If you are predisposed to take some risk you can invest it contained by mutual funds or even stocks. Investing in the bazaar is more risky but can provide greater returns.

Other Answers:
How about a short permanent status bond fund? Most mutual fund companies have them.
Your best bet is to find a local credit confederation in your nouns that will accept your money. Credit union tend to pay a better rate than bank on CDs and savings because they enjoy lower overhead.
To tell you the truth, $1000 is not seriously of money. I don't know how old are you or how much money you take home, but unless you really need this money invest to stocks, and if you are childlike, patiant, not greedy, and a fast learner, afterwards learn roughly speaking options. Stay away from futures and hours of daylight trading though, these are statistically against you (better than a casino though) and so are options if you don't know what you are doing. Life is short, and investing giant risk and reasonably, is the best long occupancy strategy.

I similar to government bonds, they don't retribution much but they are very out of harm`s way and you can cash them contained by after 6 months or so..

It is a good model to be diversified. Own some stocks, bonds, mutual funds. Bonds are super stable and yield a lower return when compared to the historic returns of stocks or mutual funds.
