What is a quarterly dividend donation?

Question:

Answers:
when the company sit around with alot of bread on their balance sheet, they don't know what to do, and they settled to give some of those money to share holders. They want to kept investor healthy.

Other Answers:
Some stocks pay dividends per share every quarter. Most business use a quarter system to report profits/loss. At the expire of the quarter, a company can either hold a profit or a loss. If the company pays a dividend, then they will money a dividend like 3 centers per share for example. So for every share you own, you would carry 3 cents. These dividends are often reinvested surrounded by the purchase of more shares. Although if they are high satisfactory, you can request a check from the company.

Not all companies reimburse dividends. Many choose not to disburse the extra income back to shareholders contained by that manner. Visiting a site resembling the Yahoo Stock site can give you details on a faddy stock and whether it pays dividends or not. It's when a company decides to income out some of its cash to shareholders.

It's adjectives for some classes of shareholders (retirees for example) to invest in a company and want a dividend - some payback along the process for your investment.

On the other hand, you can look at a dividend payoff as a company saying "here, you can do better next to your money than we can". Which is why some modern companies have no dividends.

Old, established companies next to large groups of inexperienced investors, and not like mad of growth, frequently have steady dividends. New, tech companies, or giant growth companies often do not enjoy dividends.

When buying a stock, you may wish to embezzle into account whether the company traditionally pays dividends. For instance, utilities may payment a high dividend rate, and may be a flawless buy simply because the dividend payment supports the stock price. (For instance, if the utility pays 6% of the stock price within dividends each year, next there's some value to that - you can't bring back a "guaranteed 6%" anywhere (not that dividend payments are guaranteed).

On the other hand, savvy investors spot that the dividend is just one piece of the return. Stock appreciation (or depreciation) can far out-weigh the effects of dividends.

what is an amenable open market sale?

Question:

I'm assuming you are talking more or less stock trading. An open flea market trade is when you specify you wish to buy or deal in a stock at any given price. Your broker will then nick the next available price and trade or buy the given amount of shares of stock you want. This is different from a limit decree, which is where you can specify what price is the maximum you will pay cheque for a stock. A stop order can be used when you want to deal in a certain stock if it go down to a certain price to protect losses.

Other Answers:
In hint to insider buying/selling - which is where you usually see the phrase "approachable market" or "non-open market" - it means the individual bought or sold shares on the widen market (on an exchange) to some extent than from/to the company (in a stock program) or a private seller/buyer or an options exercise, or some such.

CPST MARKET REPORT please?

Question:is capstone stock a good buy at this time ?

Answers:
If you are looking for alternative vigour plays my opinion is that within are better ones in the price compass of CPST. I just bought 500 shares ESLR. I be thinking about DESC but chose the other

Other Answers:
Capstone is specifically a second-tier play in a speculative sector, and a sector that have been heavily hyped just this minute. The fact that its share price have been stuck surrounded by a range while other alternative get-up-and-go plays are soaring strikes me as a big negative. I can lone see three reasons for buying it:

1. You want to trade the continuum, in which travel case it's a buy near 3.
2. You're buying a picnic basket of alternative energy stocks contained by a do-it-yourself sector fund.
3. You know something about their technology or financing or something that the marketplace doesn't, in which bag you wouldn't be asking about it here.

http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r38792-.html

Other Answers:
If it sounds too well brought-up to be true, it probably is. If we can all engineer a 20% return on per month by putting our money there, next the stock markets might as all right shut down. I would suggest you put your money elsewhere.

At that rate you would be a trillionaire before you die.

You do the math!

If you want to form some real money I know a company that certainly gives you over 20% return PER YEAR but you stipulation a minimum of $25,000.00 USD

I also know a company that actually give you 9.60% PER YEAR if you invest as little as $100.00 USD

Use your head.

Top 3 Answerer within Business & Finance. (Vote for me) there are NO not dangerous returns in THE WORLD at that stratum.

Why would any safe company borrow money at 20% per month?? Safe companies borrow right in a minute at about Treasuries +1%....so why would they borrow at Treasuries +390% ?

Right. They would not.

Remember, when you INVEST within something giving you a %% return, it implies someone is BORROWING and paying you that to borrow.

It ain't scheduled.

If they were safe and sound...they wouldn't need to compensate 20% per month...they could pay smaller quantity than 1% per month and the whole investing world would be after them inflict even that rate would be really really high.

Scam scam scam....

Starting a Forex Trading Business???

Question:I have this business plan, ambition and feeling to create this business that specializes in investing clients funds and after giving them relatively high returns on a daily/weekly/monthly proof depending on what "program" they invested in. It is similar to a HYIP but this will be in actuality based on Forex trading. I lost A lot of money to SCAMMERS out here and i believe everything happens for a root. It took me 18 years to find out my passion but i know what i want to do near my life. So i'm asking for your thoughts and if it is possible, and if so, what is the profits mount depending on amout invested by the public?

If you want a copy of the business plan, or a little biography (12 pages) in the region of my history, dreams, and current situation, please feel free to email me, and upon request, i will furnish you a copy.

Anything you could respond with will be outstandingly appriciated.

Richard Axton

(future ceo or president of YaYarea Investment Company (c) )

Answers:
I trade 4x myself.

The first question I would ask you if I be an investor is, "Show me your results".

Secondly, if you are so good at making money for yourself, which you should be to invest others' money, next why are you wasting your time asking for money rather than using that time making money for yourself.

(I find most fund managers' execution is mediocre or bad. If they be good at it, they would spend their time doing it on their own narrative. So, I will NEVER use a fund manager.)

So your business plan is fairly irrelevant; you need a fitting trading track record to encourage clients to invest their money with you.

what is P E ratio?

Question:

Answers:
PRICE / EARNINGS ratio as in:

Price of company A's stock = 3.00 per share
Earnings of the company per share of stock = 1.50 per share

PE ratio = 3.00 / 1.50 = 2.00

This among other meaningful information indicates the value of the investment and the tweaking in the P/E from interval to period is an indicator of the direction of the company

Other Answers:
Indeed sir...
yep guys right
In assimilation PE ratio indicates the growth prospects for a company. A company with a PE ratio of 2 is essentially dictum that investors are willing to pay cheque $2 now for every $1 within current earnings. This would be a severely low PE ratio. A company with especially high growth expectations, such as G00GLE, might hold a PE ratio of 75 which indicates investors are willing to money $75 now for every $1 within current earnings.
For the relevance (or not) of PE ratio, read the book "Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits", by Philip Fisher, chapter 4 - 6 under "Conservative Investors Sleep Well"

Gold prices enjoy risen, imho, because the dollar, yen and euro are overvalued, but there is no alternate currency of sufficient strength, to invest within.
