Rule #1 when buying stocks or mutual funds: Understand what you're buying!

I don't know this fund. Some funds can lose 25% or more & still be worthwhile staying surrounded by (and adding to position). Others may not. How does this fund compare to its peers (in one and the same sector)? How is the management of this fund? Is this a sector you should be surrounded by (based on your asset allocation).

Why bonds? I recommend going to a financial planner contained by your area to take some quality direction. Do not base your financial adjectives on discussion boards. I agree. Bonds may not be the best choice. Your pension plan is in truth a kind of quasi-debt. I can't support you b/c I don't know your situation, but in several cases I find that people next to pensions are best past its sell-by date having a high % of stocks. This is because they are in a sense already allocated to a quasi-debt resembling instrument in their allowance. In any case, I suggest you see a fee-only financial planner or advisor.

who owns "the tout sheet" a bi-monthly publication for savy investors?

Question:I keep getting faxes from them at adjectives weird hours of the afternoon and early morning i.e., 1am, 3am etc... I own a home business and this faxing is getting out of foot... Any help would be appreciated :-)

Answers:
I merely got the tout sheet faxed and call the 800 number to get past its sell-by date the fax which, in turn, allows them to supply your fax number to another boiler room to tout penny stocks. This is only a boiler room set up - the SEC is so far bringing up the rear the times that they cannot do anything to stop these guys - it is a waste of weekly and time. You are out of luck, just phone the number to get past its sell-by date the list (and be prepared to maintain getting a fax by the same group lower than another name) or accept the certainty that you are on the list and will maintain getting the fax.

Welcome to the world of corrupt investment scams.

Is the volume on stock shares consisting of bought and sold?

Question:have a streaming depiction but am a little unsure. thankfulness for any help

Answers:
Volume of the stock represents traded total, now for a stock to be traded, it must be bought by some one and sold by some one, right?
So when you articulate the volume of the stock is 100000 today, it means 100000 shares enjoy exchanged hands today. Those are no of directions that were matched and executed by the exchange.

Does that answer ur cross-question?

Other Answers:
yes. volume is all shares traded whether they are bought, sold, or shorted for that business.
The volume of shares bought and sold are equal. The seller sold the buyer bought, like shares, they simply changed hands. Volume is a two-sided coin, a equal number of shares get bought from investors offering them for sale. There total volume is simply the number of shares that changed hand that day.

what is the best stock trading program out within?

I use MetaStock for charting and I used to use it for system development. TradeStation is more powerful for writing systems from gash, but you have to be a customer of their brokerage to obtain the software.

Why don't ancestors close to unfixed annuities, what's wrong near them?

Question:My adviser think this is the best option for me but I'm not sure. I reckon this is the best option for him to clear the most $ off of me. I purely want it to grow with as little fees as possible.

Answers:
I used to be a financial rep....yes annuities are in fact an insurance product which gives the rep more commissions, but they can also be a great product as economically....I liked Protective annuities if he have them, low fee's, good fund test....also remember that they work better with a larger sum of money, but take home sure he explaines them fully to you before you invest...

Other Answers:
They used to be almost solely an insurance product-so plentifully of upfront and ongoing commissions for the insurance salesman. Heck, CDs' are going through the roof-Citibank ad-5%, E-Trade ad 5 3/4%.
This is a complicated cross-examine. Some variable annuities extend additional benefits such as minimum renunciation guarantees no matter how the investments accomplish.

Ask your advisor to explain why this is the best solution to YOUR situation. If you don't think that this is the best solution, call in with another financial professional.

A Driver surrounded by Phil Mickelson's hands on the 18th at Wingfoot near a 1 stroke lead is a bleak idea too. Should we exclusion golf drivers?
Annuities are a big commission product for salespeople. Some of the more recent ones are less impossible than they were surrounded by the past, but I am still not a supporter. It never hurts to talk to a few different investment advisors from different parts of the industry.

Clark Howard, a popular consumer radio guy, absolutely hate variable annuities. If he have his way, society selling those, especially as retirement products, would be imprisoned.

All too regularly, they charge a fortune in commissions and in actuality harm you tax-wise.

The SEC issued a report just about the problems with adjustable annuities. If someone is trying to sell you one, they are not trying to benefit you, they are trying to benefit themselves, and you do not want to trust that financial advisor. Listen to your instincts!

Which is the best free charting software for the Indian stock flea market?

Question:

Answers:
I use Stockwiz. It's completely programmable, which is what I wanted, but the programming discourse is .... primitive.
But it's free.

http://www.stockwiz.com/

Caveat:
- I am still using version 3, although in that is a version 4 available
- You still necessitate a service to get your on a daily basis stockquotes, which is most likely *not* free.

Other Answers:
There is no free software explicitly currently avl. But if you want basic moving average charts, you may chk out nseindia.com or moneycontrol.com.

If you are an on queue trading customer, then the software given to you by the broker will own charting software inbuilt into it.

Question:not stable value fund

Answers:
for at most minuscule a 5 year time frame, check out I Bonds. currently yielding 6.73% beside no taxes due until you cash out. cost for selling before 5 years and you can hold them for 30 years. inflation protection kicker included.

protected investment

Other Answers:
Depending on how much you have and how long a time you can invest it, shop around for Certificates of Deposit. You might find some at 3.5% if you meet the minimums. 'Bout as stable as you're going to find. Oh...check rate of return on US Savings Bonds. I hold no idea what they are paying in a minute but you won't find anything more stable and the minimum will be lower than a CD.
Maybe you should muse on US bonds

what is a moving average?

Question:how do you figure it out

Answers:
Moving average
Used contained by charts and technical analysis, the average of deposit or commodity prices constructed in a time as short as a few days or as long as several years, and showing trends for the latest interval. As respectively new unreliable is included in calculating the average, the closing variable of the series is delete.

Other Answers:
Depends on the topic. A daily average on the stock souk is picked by the movement of the Dow's index of top 30 blue chips; not of the whole. The moving average of the tide contained by San Francisco is much more dependable. Usually figured as the expected high vs. lows, and averaged. a moving average would be constricted on the specific time frame of the tides, and their calculations of large vs. low during that duration. At any given moment during that duration period, the tides will own a moving average. But in volume trading, this is a different quotient I'm not all right enough versed to explain.
