It depends on what you like and how expensive is too expensive for you, but I really similar to Portland, Oregon. It has basically about everything going for it except that it rain all winter. To me, it's in good health worth it.
i can't give you an answer surrounded by regards to school. and i don't know what's best as far as other countries are concerned (i don't want to leave the u.s. so i never checked europe or anything.) surrounded by fact,, adjectives i know about is the weather (seeing as how i live surrounded by s. fla. and don't much care for these hurricanes.) the best info i could find down the top three cities as:1. honolulu
2. boise
3. santa fe
honolulu's out of the question though. for one, they hold hurricanes too.,,, and volcanos. and it's very expensive to live nearby.
boise's no good to me because it snows at hand, and i don't care for tire chains, and starchy boots and shovels, and having to turn my motor on 5 minutes in finance. but,,, maybe you resembling the cold.
so i went next to santa fe. well,,, i didn't in reality "go" with it. i still live contained by fla. but it seems approaching it would be good as far as weather is concerned, and it's get low crime, and it's very cheap but developing (which money if you buy property there, it'll appreciate). the solely thing is,, i hear they enjoy microbursts (?) or something, which are gusts of wind within the stratosphere that have the potential to push airplanes out of the sky. (? !) anyhow,, i hear it's pink that an airplane lands on someone's house.
one more entity i need to point out,,,, this info i be using (the best info i could find) was using a really sucky system. not just did they neglect to consider volcanos and forrest fires as organic disasters, but they equated all other unconscious disasters using a point system. (i.e. -- earth quake and strong winds be given equal status.) so like,,,hattiesburg, miss be considered a worse place to live than san fran or l.a. because it's windy and rain a lot nearby. very poor system. the undamaged southeast of the country was ruled out this path. (you don't wanna live in the southeast anyway. lots of condemn lines and ignorant racist.) Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.

Does it really worth it to invest within NT, and LU, etc?
Question:Can someone explain to me if I should invest some money in those penny stock and hope they revive surrounded by the long run?Answers:
The proper term is speculate not invest. They are both speculations. Their fundamentals are dreadful. LU have a debt/equity ratio of almost 10 to 1 and interest rates are rising. Revenues have be essentially flat for the past 4 years. Earnings are nil to brag about any, but the company does have yield. They have decline for the past 3 years. They own 9 billion in revenue and 5 billion surrounded by debt.
Does that sound close to an investment? NT is in worse shape.
Sure a miracle could start to one or the other, and that is what you would be betting on. That and the possibility that other speculators might drop into the stock and drive the price up.

Question:A 7 day concede of 4.38%...isnt that a really good traffic...i mean bank give you a 5.25 % for the intact year...or am i missing (miscalculating) something here...Answers:
The 4.38% is an annualized rate.
To get the day by day rate, divide by 360 (not 365) and compound daily.
The actual interest you find per $100 for seven days will be:
100 * (1+ 0.0438/360)^7 -100 = 0.085
You should earn about 8 1/2 cents interest per $100.

what is implied fx?
Question:Answers:
I suspect that you mean 'implied FX forward rate" or "Implied FX spot rate."
If given one rate, you should be capable of compute the other.
For example, you might be given a spot rate -- which is the current exchange rate. Then you might be asked what the forward rate is for an exchange of money in three months. Think going on for how we could replicate an exchange od dollars for, say euros, within three months. We coul enter into a forward contract to do the exchange at an agreed upon price. Or we could borrow dollars now to be rewarded back within three months, take those dollars & exchange them for euros. Then we could invest them for three months.
If we do that, after the dollars we pay will be the amount we borrowed plus the domestic interest -- and the euros we procure will be the number of euros we exchange plus the foreign interest.
If we divide one by the other, we get the implied FX rate for the adjectives date. It should match the forwardprice of the contract.

If they were worth more afterwards a dollar with a more adjectives serial number. Because I've only see them with a memorandum at the end of it.Answers:
This is call a Star Note, and some collectors will pay more than a dollar for it.
This happen when a dollar has to be reprinted because the first printing be messed up.
This is from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing web site:
When an mortal note is detected during the trade process after the serial number has be overprinted, it must be replaced with a hot note. A "star" write down is used to replace the imperfect document. Reusing that exact serial number to replace the imperfect write down is costly and time consuming. The "star" note have its own special serial number followed by a star in place of a suffix message.
The serial number of the imperfect make a note of that was removed is unused again in indistinguishable numbering sequence.

how lots associates committed suicide after the stock open market crash of 1929?
Question:Answers:
Good luck trying to find that answer. It's like asking how masses jumped from the buildings on 9/11, vs how several went down beside the building.
As I read one firefighter on 9/11 state: "we had to hang on to looking up more and more, -they were really coming down then" ouch, that sounds similar to about 100. That one "gay priest" be killed when a woman fell on him. Does that count as remiss homicide or 9/11 death??
But the crash of 1929 didn't recuperate until 1933 and thereafter. So you could count...
1. Direct suicides that 'black Tuesday' or later that week as suicides on Wall street.
2. Accident's (really suicides) for adjectives sorts of folks that lost their money, jobs, farm, etc.
3. Death and disease due to (lack of) financial status.
After all, nobody like to document suicides, even if you jumped out of a fanlight, the coroner would describe it as an 'accident' out of consideration for the next-of-kin.
Other Answers:

Must be a lot I surmise, because the effect rippled throught out the country. I think closely more people would commit suicide because the follwing year of 1930 be even worse.
Owning stocks give a you profoundly of stress when the price is volatile. It will even more be stressful when you put all of your energy saving within stock, worse if you borrow a lot of money from other relatives to buy stock.
According wikipedia.com " The most famous crash, the Stock Market Crash of 1929, started on October 24, 1929 (known as Black Thursday) when the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 50%. This event preceded the Great Depression. The succeeding-years saw the Dow Jones drop-a-total of over 85%".
When the stock price decline, these people will own nothing moved out. Some people will find the unproblematic way out by committing suicide to escape from the problems.

Vonage IPO. Good buy or not?
Question:Ok, I have be a Vonage customer for quite some time. Recently, I received an email nearly being eligible to buy stock for Vonage's IPO (Initial Public Offering) some time soon. What are your impressions in the region of this? I've read a little and seem like this is a desperate hard work by Vonage to rack up some capital to verbs operation since there hold been significant losses reported not long. Is this a good buy or not? My intention would be to "flip" this stock (meaning I would buy it at the initial debut price and maybe selling in a day or two).Answers:
I don't know whether holding the stock even for a short while is a righteous idea the souk and analysts all hold equal view as u do . i intuitively would like a merger and not an IPO but still the dread is that with the current awareness in the souk may actually see the stock going below its space price.

What online broker company is better? TDAmeritrade or E*Trade?
Question:Answers:
TDAmeritrade is better on fees, commissions and on research tools.
Other Answers:
Don't use an online broker. You can get charged beside some pretty strange fees while doing your trading and viewing. Check with a valid live broker before investing.
TCAmeritrade is more reliable.
I've hear of both of those but don't know much about them. I enjoy looked at Sharebuilder.com and Bullmarket.com. Some that I have researched don't allow you to invest within low-end or no-name stocks that you might want to invest in.
Just a thought.
Mcdharma, who do you suggest? I'm looking to bring much better returns than what I'm currently getting (believe me, you don't want to know the pitiful %) but I really don't know who to go beside. I'm talked to culture at work but can't get a clear answer. I'm at isabow27 @ yahoo . com (omit spaces)
I am currently a commodities broker and I would suggest that you look into a big brokerage firm. You may income higher commissions but you will take guidance from someone who has seriously more experience with what is moving consistent markets. If your looking to generate trading more than a hobby and you want to see at least a 30 percent return on your initial investment, than you should money a little more to procure better service. Hell, who cares what your paying contained by commissions if your making serious money....right?
I found behind the times stock, Is it worth anything?
Question:Does Palatine Stores Inc, state of Illinois, still exist? I found stock from 1922. What can I use to track it down?Answers:
I don't believe the company exists, but that doesn't mean the stock is worthless.
See if your library have one of these:
"Financial Stock Guide Service" - a directory of active stocks (addressing currently traded, actives issues), and a directory of out-dated securities (providing a brief profile of companies whose original identity have be lost through actions affecting their outstanding stock) updated annually and through monthly supplements.
Also, any "Robert D. Fisher Manual of Valuable & Worthless Securities" or "National Stock Summary" may be of use.
Other Answers:
Yes, it might be.
Send it to me, I'll find out for you. There is no such ticker symbol for your stock. It is possible that the stock is still good, but be traded in a merger. Contact a local stock broker at your hill
Call the company, ask them? If the company is still trading on the market than im sure those shares are still of utility
Most lilkely the company no longer exists, so the shares have no "market" worth. You can try asking your broker, or taking it to the investment advisor at your local bank. However, antique stock certificate are very collectible for artistic/historic importance, especially if they are ornate or are of notable companies. If your certificate is within good condition, it may be of effectiveness to a collector. You could try taking it to an art or antique shop for an appraisal. A stockbroker might be willing to relieve you track it down.
If there is a considerable library in your nouns, you can look for a publication titled "CCH Capital Changes Reporter". It lists adjectives of the changes within public companies' stocks over more than 100 years. If it was a public company, it should be contained by there

What happen to the Fidelity Magellan Fund concluding week?
Question:A steep decline in share price be posted Friday.Answers:
They last posted a dividend and boater gains distribution on Dec 2, 2005. It have been 6 months and I chew over they had another distribution, which lowers the sale price.
EDIT:
I confirmed on their website that distributions of dividends and capital gain do occur within May and Dec. If you have your distributions reinvested after it should be a wash for you. If you own your distributions paid out, afterwards you have impossible to tell apart number of shares at the lower price.
Other Answers:
The distribution lowers the price but increases the number of shares each investor have. The result is basically a swab.
Can I transport a 50K loan out against my IRA for another investment and repay it until that time I receive hit beside taxes?
Question:Answers:
You may NOT borrow against retirement funds or pledge them as collateral, sorry. The only opening you can do this is if you take the precipitate distribution and replace it within the required time frame, however you'll still owe the 10% charge penalty for the precipitate withdrawal. There are two exceptions though...you may/might know how to borrow against it for your 1st home...notice that it say 1st; you may/might also be able to borrow or cancel tax free if you've form issues (you said investment so that's clearly not the case here).
