I in fact have be following and buying this stock for quite some time... i hold over 5 thousand shares, and i am very well with it. they are an up and coming company that deal withwireless donloading, and deal primarily surrounded by europe, although i believe they are poised to explode to a global business. what they do is use cellular nouns to download music to a cell phone or wireless computer very in a hurry. if you were to request a song, adjectives the towers in the nouns would bombard you with information for a very short time of time, like poissibly 10 second. you would get parts of the song (or file) from heaps towers,at one time, and it would build on your phone or device. you can d/l a song in basically a few seconds. unsurprisingly they charge per song... currently, they only work beside one music company (BMG recording i think) so near is a somewhat limited catalog of songs to choose. but as they become more broad, and move into more ares, i assume they could easily associate beside many more music companies. this is a company beside the possibility to explode especially in urban areas where on earth cell phone towers are every couple blocks. At 48 cents a share, i believe you cant go wrong. but expect to hold for up to 3 years or so, depending on the growth, it may lift a while, you never know. i have bought at as low a i suppose 41 cents, and i sell if it surges to 75 cents or more. but i never suggest hours of daylight trading. i think it would be a learned buy and hold stock. My honest expectations for this stock are upwards of 9-10 dollars over the coming years.
hope this helped

yes you can market. the only problem would be if you did not put the lolly up prior to selling. you could still sell, but your justification would be restricted for free riding.
Sure, you can sell.
If you own a cash reason, and sold stock before that trade that hasnt settled even so, you cant sell your current stock for three days.
I hope you are discussion about SVI. What a ride that be, i cant believe it I didnt get it at $8. If i be there i go 3/4 now, and tolerate the rest ride.
Sure, you can sell the stock any time you close to. However, unless you have a side-line account any up to date stock you purchase, prior to the settlement date, must be held for at least three days or you may be disqualified from trading for (I believe) 90 days. It may be worth your while to apply to change your description to a margin picture for just this plea.

In finance, a futures contract is a standard contract traded on a futures exchange to buy or trade an instrument at a certain price at a constant point of time in the adjectives. In this case, the instrument is stocks.
For example, let's look at a futures trade contained by Yahoo! The closing price for Yahoo is $30. Let's say you agree to put up for sale 1,000 Yahoo shares to me at $35 on 30 June. That means that any you or I can make a large amount of money but also lose money.
For example, let's assume that the price of Yahoo! on 30 June was $45. I would clear $5,000 dollars because I am buying the stock of you for $40 and sell it urgently for $45. Conversely, you will lose %5,000.
If the price of Yahoo! is $25.00, you will make $10,000 on the business deal because I am paying you $35 for the shares that are worth $25 on the market. I will lose $10,000 and you will brand name $10,000. There are also forward trades which are special deals which are riskier than futures.

The previous answers were true something like 100 years ago.
Each stock in the Dow 30 is weighted differently to comprise the "average"
Each stock have a different effect on the average. If IBM goes up $1.00 for the
time, the effect on the Dow is much different than if GM goes up $1.00 for the afternoon.
That can be found here:

They add up the price of the thirty stocks, that's why is call a price weighted average.
Now, because many of the companies own been replaced from the untested average. They need to use a denominator, i believe is around (.0871).
So if you want to try, make the addition of all the prices of the seven companies and divide it by .0871 you must win the 11,200's .
