Intel and AMD are very different companies. Notice Intel's profit outside edge is far higher than AMD. Also catch sight of it's debt and return on equity are much stronger than AMD.
In the most recently reported returns from Intel, they missed EPS guidance that they had provided solely weeks prior. This disappointed investors and has forced Intel shares down to hand 52 weeks lows.
At the same time AMD reported excellent yield. This has lead to a number of upward EPS revisions for AMD and several downward EPS revisions for INTC.
