What company provides the best HSA (Health Savings Account) bank services.?

Question:
I've already chosen a good insurance plan, but presently I have to choose a righteous bank along next to investment choices for the savings side of things. I've looked at Chase and Well's Fargo. Both charge monthly maintence fees of up to $6 per month if you want to hold mutual funds in it. These big fees suck. Has anyone looked into this and found better choices?

Answer:
The one good point about Chase's product: it's one of the oldest out in attendance in a grazing land of new, burgeoning HSA players, and they've probably worked out profusely of the kinks. I would recommend seriously looking at Chase or US Bank. Key Bank immediately offers HSAs as capably.

An HSA can be good if you're not awfully sick. Don't forget to invest your money if you're not going to use it for healthcare purposes - you can move it around.

Which is better NPV or IRR contained by calculating present utility & Why?

Question:
Also if examples are given with the answers it would be better.

Answer:
It adjectives depends on which you prefer. Let's use the example that you invest $100,000 up front and each year for 8 years will bring together income of $10,000 because of that investment. If you are banking on a return of 6%, the addition will go approaching this:

Obviously, the present value of your initial investment is $(100,000) - it's unenthusiastic because it's money going out.
The present value of the 8 year income is as follows:

Year 1 - 18,867.92
Year 2 - 17,799.93
Year 3 - 16,792.38
Year 4 - 15,841.87
Year 5 - 14,945.16
Year 6 - 14,099.21
Year 7 - 13,301.14
Year 8 - 12,548.25

Sum these numbers up and tag on to your "outgo" of $100,000 . You get $24,195.86. Positive is apt. If you have a financial calculator you can solve this beside keystrokes. Using the keystrokes (because longhand would be tedious), the IRR would be 11.8%. This is better than the 6% that was forecasted.

As I mentioned at the launch, it's all how you would resembling to read the data. Would you to some extent see dollar amounts in today's dollars or would you similar to to see a percentage return to compare to forecast? Additional variables such as inflation rate will come into play with any calculation.

Ron, ChFC
NPV is the present worth and the IRR is used to calculate NPV from the adjectives value so I focus you're confused.
NPV will only inform you whether your investment will return more than you require (for example 10%. If it is, NPV will be positive). IRR will tell you the actual rate of return, since you'd be setting the NPV to nil.

Am looking for a exceptionally well brought-up franchise, i enjoy 100K to invest?

Question:

Answer:
"Very good franchise" is greatly subjective -- it will depend on what you want, what you like to do, and what you regard as can do best.

I suggest you check out Entrepreneur.com as they have rankings of franchises that you may consider as very well as listings of available franchises per sector http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchise500...

Top 10 Franchises for 2007

1. Subway
2. Dunkin' Donuts
3. Jackson Hewitt Tax Service
4. 7-Eleven Inc.
5. UPS Store, The/Mail Boxes Etc.
6. Domino's Pizza LLC
7. Jiffy Lube Int'l. Inc.
8. Sonic Drive In Restaurants
9. McDonald's
10. Papa John's Int'l. Inc.
Apple
Don't invest in a franchise.
near 100K you could possibly have 200K invested (if you qualify)
The average return on the open market long term have been over 12% but let's pinch 10% as an example. With 10% return your money will double about every 7 years.
You could hold 1.5 Million in 21 year (1'600K-100K borrowed). That is an average of 71K per year.

Now try to get hold of an average 71K per year from a 100K investment with a franchise year after year for 21 years, plus adjectives the trouble of maintenance/inspection, staffing, management, etc...
I completely agree near the above post. There are better ways to make more money near lesser hard work than a franchise.
Invest the money and reap better returns.

what is nifty?

Question:

Answer:
Well it could mean tidy or within slang it mean fifty it adjectives depends on how you want to use it.
Crafty
not quite cool, but not lame. something thatwas cool approaching 50 years ago.
If you do not know what is nifty that means you are not suppose to know it any..

still for your knowledgeNifty is an index of of National stock exchange of India..in short call NSENSE is an exchange like Bombay stock exchange and only just like BSE sensex which indicates the prevailing prices of stocks nominated in BSE,Nifty indicates the prevailing prices of stocks planned in NSE...

How it reflect the prevailing prices requires a little more explanations and conditions..you do not seem to hold the necessary surroundings...If you still want to know more then shift to your local stock broker who will be more helpful.
Nifty be a shortening of the word magnificant. I think it showed up surrounded by the 1700s or 1800s. Its pretty old. It be used again in the 1970s surrounded by the news alot because of the "Nifty 50" which be big payoff, solid stocks.
A few of my elderly patients still use the word on occassion.
index of NSE.. u can trade on the stocks listed on nfty as in good health as the nifty itself.
volume of transactions is more than sensex
this should help
http://www.indiahowto.com/what-is-sensex...

The Bombay Stock Exchange 30-share benchmark SENSetive indEX (sensex)
Standard & Poor's CRISIL National Stock Exchange Indices National Fifty = S&P CNX Nifty
nifty is index of National Stock Exchange. Nifty technique Group of 50 shares(stock)
SENSEX is used in BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange)- Its a group of 30 shares(Stock)
it is national stock exchange and since it considers 50 shares to go-between the ups n downs in stock flea market, thats why its called nifty.
The adjectives tongue meaning for nifty is a situation or item that is adjectives to you or convienient. Something nifty could also be seen as mildly interesting, but not cool.
For example:
If I be stuck in the night and I didn't have a working flashlight-it would be nifty if I found the battieries I needed surrounded by my pocket that I didn't know was near before.
OR
If my friend bought some earrings that be not in rage, but matched her outfit perfect, I would influence, "Those are nifty!"
nifty is index of nse(national stock exchange)in as a parameter of market trend within 50 company share waiteg
Nifty is the name of the leading index of National Stock Exchange. It consists of 50 stocks which represent the total of the Indian industry.
There is a slang meaning given above so I will not bore you beside it.

But, the second very popular target is the Top of Top Stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

In fact, NSE created it, and have an index that follows it. They are supposed to even have ETFs down it by Barclays. This allows an investor in India to invest within the Top Stocks (neat huh!) of the Indian markets (like Infosys, Dr Reddy, Tata Motors etc) and find a tidy profit from the investments or trade.

Good luck.

cool or something

When they say-so the open market gain or lost so plentiful points, what exactly is individual measured?

Question:

Answer:
The exact calculation depends on which index they are referring to when they read out that, but it is roughly an average of the performance of the stocks that brand up the index. For the S&P and Russell indices, the largest stocks get a heavier weighting, so it is more approaching the average performance of the largest stocks within the indices. The Dow is already pretty much limited to the largest stocks.
Usually, they are discussion about one of the bazaar indexes like "the Dow" (the Dow Jones Industrial Index) or the Nasdaq. These indicators are only just the added-up prices of a group of "representative" stocks that reflect the bazaar sentiment.

The Dow is actually composed of 30 companies... here's the Wiki on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/dow_jones_i...

Always remember that this is basically an indicator of broad market sentiment...Plenty of stocks on any given light of day go surrounded by the opposite direction to the Dow!

Iraq Money?

Question:
I live in the UK and my boyfriend's best mate have just bought moderately alot of the Iraq currency for about lb150 and apprantly their is this argument that once the war calm down and the pound is getting more equal to the iraq currency with the amount of it they enjoy now they could be sitting on going on for lb350,000.. now my boyfriend is really taken contained by by this and so are alot of other people who adjectives seem to be cashing contained by on it.. wat do all you reflect? has anyone done this themselves and think that they're seriously going to make money rotten it? or is it just a scam that's going to vacate my boyfriend without any profit on what he puts into it? please minister to coz he is driving me mad asking me wether i deliberate he should invest in this or not! appreciation!

Answer:
Absolute mandatory reading for anyone thinking about investing within Iraqi Dinars (You are in for a exceptionally nasty surprise if you regard as you can make money doing this):

http://www.xe.com/iqd.php

I don't know anyone that have actually made money doing this. In PS, here is a challenge for you: Find a dune or currency exchange that actually buys Iraqi Dinars when you are geared up to sell. Chances are that you won't find one.
And even if you do, how much does the Dinar own to appreciate before you break even? Compare their buying rate near the rate you would be paying.
This has happen over the years: buying alot of cheap currency from a war-torn country in the hopes that sometime it will rise and you will make tons of dosh. This is very incredibly rarely the satchel. The best thing you can do is try to overhaul the currency off on someone else and supply it for as much as possible. This is practically a scam. If you ever invest in currency, you do it contained by industrialized countries (US, UK, EU, etc).

What is the formula for calculating average price of stock shares?

Question:
Example: If you buy 5 shares of ABC at $10.00, and 5 shares of ABC at $20.00, your average price is 15.00 How do you calculate avg. price for 2 at $11, 5 at $13 8 at $15...etc.?

The law of math continue to work.

Simply multiple the share price x price/share for respectively purchase. Then, add up these numbers. This is the total "cost spring." Then, divide this by the total number of shares. Voila! You have the average.
