Does anyone have any conception going on for premium bonds,if yes, have anyone won any prize ?
Question:
Finance/Savings
Answer:
What we all know: Premium Bonds form a sizeable pool of investment money on which the National Investment people total an interest return. The % return is 'divvied' up into prizes that are doled out to winners of a hit and miss draw. This makes it a sort of wage but one in which you lay a wager your interest income and growth against a potential high prize. Your resourceful investment remains intact, this is the fundamental difference from normal making a bet.
What you may not know: most of the pool of money is lent on national and international money markets and get a MUCH higher rate of return than the amount hand out as prize money. The rest goes into the Government's pocket as a sort of stealth tariff. While your 'investment' remains intact its purchasing power is constantly eroded by inflation. At the moment it is losing 2-3% a year; during periods of elevated inflation and they occur every 10-20 years, you might lose 10-15% a year! lb100 spent on Premium Bonds within 1956 was probably worth lb2,500 within todays money; properly invested it would be worth over lb10,000 today.
I have a lb1 bond bought surrounded by 1958 (i.e about 1 days average wage at that time) that have never won; some years ago I ran a group that put a couple of lbs a lead per month (peanuts) into Premium Bonds. After a couple of years we had won once (lb50) on a pool grown to nearly lb400.
Premium Bonds are NOT an investment they are a long-term gamble. If you single have a predetermined amount of disposable investment income for long-term wealth production, well-researched element trusts would probably be the better way to jump.
I've had premium bonds for years, never won a penny. A friend, who holds the max win almost every month, various amount!
I did once. I have lb1000 I was holding in place to buy a house (A few years a ago" I put in into bonds for 6 months and won lb50
i won fairly a bit on ernie a few years ago, am i happy ? no im f u c k i n g not mate. didnt bring me elation.
I have have some premium bonds for over 40 years and have never won a prize. When they be bought at a pound each, they be very expensive. they are still worth a pound respectively. I even wrote to ask them to check if Id won. But i hadnt
yeah, i heard a mate uncle's great grandpa's dad's kids girlfriend who went out near the chap who run the local pub, who knew a man living on the welsh border WON, i consider it was lb100?
I haven't won any prizes, but if you want to check your bonds, be in motion to http://www.postoffice.co.uk/savings&inve... to check yours.
Every last character in my household has won on the darned things except me...I'm hoping ERNIE's holding out to transport me the big one!
I have won lb50. They don't earn interest but you don't lose anything and you could win up 1 million.
I reason they are a win win situation!
Do you play the lottery?
How often do you win?
I put a small amount surrounded by premium bonds and was lucky satisfactory to win.
And unlike the lottery I can get my dosh posterior if I do not win.
Win Win.
They are simply a gamble. They voice you cannot lose any money but in reality your capital is anyone eroded every year due to inflation.
I have lb7,500 invested since 1987/9. In the rash years, I was getting 10 or more small win per year, plus 1 of lb500. For the last 10 years or so, they enjoy dried up to 1 or less per year. Either the likelihood are much worse now, or the system is not as unselective as is claimed.
I won lb50 back surrounded by 1999. not sure if I'm still invested in them after in the lead (otherwise I'd be going ahead and investing a little bit more).
What is a Real estate investment trust?
Question:
Where are some good places to find some moral one?
Answer:
A REIT was set up contained by the 70s under Carter as a path to get general public to "own" property with little money. A thousand individuals with a thousand dollars respectively can own $1 million worth of property. The REIT is responsible for the paperwork and are required to give 90% of the profits spinal column to the "owners" in the form of dividends.
Generally you want to look at sector REITs, for instance business, medical and housing are different sector in the REIT industry. You want to focus on which sector have staying power. Do investors surrounded by an LLC startup hold to be recognized?
Question:
I believe the SEC mandates that adjectives investors in dependable risky startups must be accredited. Does this include LLCs? Is within any way to extend equity in a startup to the "average joe?"(either through an LLC or other business structure?) More info on endorsed investors can be viewed at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/accredited_... and http://www.sec.gov/answers/accred.htm
Answer:
It's not so much the structure, as it is the together concept of selling equity in a private company to an unsophisticated character. There's a very apt reason that the SEC be set up in the first place, and that be to ensure that the "average Joe" would at least own all appropriate information *available* to him since he bought into a business (even if he didn't read it all.) That's what public companies are adjectives about, and why at hand are such extensive regulations regarding adjectives the filings and disclosures that a company needs to net prior to selling stock to Joe.
For that reason, if a company requirements to sell equity of any sensitive to Joe, it's got two choices: any file as a public company (which is ridiculously expensive, sore and something you don't want to do), or else trade name sure that the equity sale falls below one of the exemptions that the SEC has established.
There are more than partially a dozen of these, but they all try to finish the same run out: making sure that buyers have ample information about the startup to variety an informed decision; making sure that buyers are any sophisticated enough, or know you capably enough, to know what they're getting into, and ensure that they can afford to lose their investment; and making sure that the initial buyers can't sell their stock to anyone else previously you 'go public'.
Check out the link below for the legitimate discussion of all this from the SEC...and angelic luck!

I know a company currently offering 25% annually surrounded by USD, EUR or GBP by PayPal without risk.
You email them $10.00 USD and a year then they email you back $12.50 USD.
Most are scam and a few are legit.
Yes, they really work.
Example:
A large Insurance Company borrows from you $100.00 USD (As unwilling borrow from a bank) and they use your money for their business (Sell insurance in this case) and their profits are larger than the money they are paying you.
In this valise let's suppose the Insurance company makes 26% and they settle you 25%
They pay wager on your money and they keep the rest (1% surrounded by this case)
This only works if the mound charges the Insurance Company 26% or more.
In some countries the banks charge over 70% annually.

Is it better to pay cheque sour a student loan beside 5% interest at full tilt and afterwards invest contained by the stock flea market afterward?
Question:
For investing in right to be heard, a 30 year period. Is it better to reward off a student loan beside 5% interest quickly and afterwards invest in the stock bazaar after the loan is paid? Or is it better to salary the student loan minimum every month and then invest some money every month surrounded by the stock marekt? Thanks.
Answer:
Probably best to defer paying off the loan. This is due to the charge benefit you will get from paying past its sell-by date the interest. Effectively it will be like borrowing money at 3.5-4%, which would be nearly impossible from other sources. Assuming you enjoy a steady and secure source of currency flow (a job), and the loans aren't horribly large, it is probably best to use them as a cheap source of financing for your investment portfolio.
Depends if you muse you can make more than 5% surrounded by the stock market.
Can you bring back a income tax estimate for interest paid? I get hold of a big tax break for my mortgage interest every year. That's another factor.
Second opportunity.
Where are you located?
If you are located in Canada, the answer is confident: Open up a self-directed RRSP or regular RRSP account, and put some change in nearby. Your tax return for making an RRSP contribution can jump towards your student loan principal.
If you are in Canada, and gain to write off the student loan interest, this is a great channel to do it. You get 18 to 49% of your RRSP contribution final (depending on your income) and this amount can go towards any more RRSPs or paying down your debt.
If your debt is manageable, and you can afford to put money into investments rash - the compound interest and tax refund will more than make up for it.
Good luck. Hope this help.
What would be a worthy stock trading strategy for using a Trailing Stop ?
Question:
Want to trade stocks short-term (online) and need direction from successful traders. Thanks for your time and advice!
Answer:
Obviously you inevitability to figure out where on earth to place the stop initially before it starts trailing. There are a couple choices -
1. Select a price some stop loss % (2, 3, 4, 5% - anything you're comfortable with) or
2. Base your initial stop on a support level.
Method 2 is what is in general used in Forex trading. In stocks I use mental stops as challenging actually placing the lay down but I'm reviewing my charts a couple times a day so I know where on earth my stop-loss is at and I have access to a computer adjectives day. The concept is that if a stock starts to drop it will tend to halt its decline at a support rank, at least temporarily. If support holds, price will bounce stale of it and start rising again. If support breaks down, price will likely verbs to fall. Price will verbs the support and go below it temporarily afterwards rise back to or above it while it is carrying out tests support so you want to have your initial stop at some tolerance below the support rank.
Here's an example of how to set the initial stop -
Refer to the following chart:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=nto&p=d...
Once you decide on a stock, determine the support/resistance level as shown by the horizontal red/green lines. Near todays action in attendance is support/resistance at these prices:
3.92, 4.00 (natural), 4.19, 4.40, 4.61
Let's say you looked-for to buy at 4.15 on Wednesday. There is natural support (even dollar amount) at 4.00 and 3.92.
1. Determine what your loss tolerance is - let's voice 5%
2. Determine how much tolerance below the support level you want to be ~ 2%
3. Determine where on earth 2% is below support - 4.00 minus (4.00 * 2%) = 3.92
4. 3.92 would be your stop.
5. Determine how much of a loss you would take if stopped out - just about 5.5 %
6. Determine if 5.5% is within your loss bound. If so, you would place the stop at 3.92 and if not, you enjoy to decide whether to move the stop closer to support (increases the risk of getting stopped out) or not take home the trade.
Once prices starts moving up, you have the choice of varying the stop to a trailing stop or to calculate a investigational support minus 2% stop price and manually change the stop.
All this may nouns like more work than you want to do but after you do it 5-6 times, you will start to see the stop prices in a quick look.
I look for stocks that are bouncing off of push button moving averages such as the 50 day or 100 light of day. I also look for fresh crosses of the 8 day crossing the 20 hours of daylight moving averages and only buy stocks that are surrounded by an uptrend. I then look thoroughly at the normal price variances to add the percentage that I want to use for my trailing stop as protection to both lock in gain and limit losses.
A stop will not protect you if a focal event happens and a stock drops 20 to 30 percent at the marketplace open as your stop will be triggered and the stock will trade at current market price, not at the price your stop is set for. I have this happen just to have the stock bounce pay for up later within the day or the subsequent few days. Don't put all you funds contained by one stock.
If you're making short-term momentum plays on hot stocks, place your stop just below the previous day's low.
