Are snail farm a right investment?
Question:
Everything I've invested in so far have been a bust. I integer that even if I lose all my money, at lowest possible the inventory is gonna take a long time to resign from.
Answer:
I just a bought a Saturn S series coup¨¦. Now, when I drive by, people can see my S coup¨¦ go. I hear that the snail business have been sluggish lately. You might try to paint the snails if the shell lacks varnish. However, if you stay surrounded by the business you might take a tangible shellacking. Have you given thought to marketing them as pets like loner crabs? You could paint or varnish the shells to make them more attractive. I would think twice of how you handle them. You don't want to be charged beside molluscstation.
John,
Seems like a "slow" road to make money to me.
(Sorry I couldn't resist) I really know nought about snail cultivation.
Norm
Well John T. Why do you think snails will net money?
Where will you sell them, And if the marketing company said they will buy them, own you checked them out to see if they are legitimate?
Same next to worms, that craze went around roughly 10 Years ago,Every one ended up near a lot of worms and no open market for them.
You have to start anyone real skeptical in the region of get rich scheme...try to figure out why they won't work, don't buy into the great stories, and endorsement you are told
When McDonald's offers a MacEscargot sandwich, after you can start a snail farm. Meanwhile the world wishes more yaks (red meat that is especially very low surrounded by saturated fat). I would start a yak cattle farm.
Yes.
Abalone farms can create some money and yes those are snails.
LMAO!! First possums now snails. John T if it's one piece I admire roughly speaking you is your ability to see opportunity, no situation how awry the situation. From ugly Sue to Ole Ernie to that two bit tramp who vanished you with your foot stuck contained by the toilet, for your best friend. You always run to see a shining star. You're a good, simple kinda guy John T. They don't product them like you anymore.
Where would you start your business? If you plan on moving to France it will be a well-mannered investment, but before you start form sure you find a restaurant that needs a supplier.
I expect alpacas are a much better investment though.
Is nearby a down side to paypal?
Question:
I was thinking going on for selling some ( ATC's- Art Trading Cards).
and I will have to achieve a paypal account, so I can get hold of paid.
Have you have any trouble with paypal
Answer:
Here's the big downside. Your agreement beside Paypal gives them the right to access your sandbank account. This will probably not be a problem. But if a customer complains roughly a transaction, Paypal's inane complaint process gives them the right to progress into your account and cause restitution. Your appeal rights may be limited. If it's a considerable transaction, it can be a big problem. Furthermore, they have access to your credit card, so your credit history may be artificial. My suggestion is to open a special sandbank account that you single use to fund your Paypal transactions.
The other problem is that Paypal's cut is fairly roomy...2.9% for a verified business customer, plus special fees and FX for overseas transactions. If it's a personal account, it's 4.9%. You won't find any discounts until you do more than $3K a month. If you're going to be doing a fair amout of online business, a merchant depiction with a conventional credit card processor would be cheaper.
Float time can be rather long...I've had transactions that hold taken more than a week to clear.
Finally, you need to know that Paypal isn't regulated. You can't expect the sort of guarantees you procure at a bank. They will speak about you that you get "intervene through" FDIC insurance for example. There really is no such thing. What it ability is that THEIR accounts are insured, since they are real dune deposits. But YOUR account next to Paypal is only insured to the extent that their commentary is insured. In the event of a failure, you hold no direct claim on an insurance settlement.
The upside is that it's quick and confident to get it set up. So if you're singular doing a few transactions, it's hard to pulse.
I have be selling stuff on ebay for a couple years using paypal. I love it. It is easy to use and risk-free. It beats the hassle of inhabitants sending checks and money orders. It also simplifies international selling - no currency exchange or checks drawn on foreign hill type hassles.
Of course there's other a downside - the fees involved. They collect a % of whatever is rewarded to you. However, I figure that if you don't adopt paypal, you'll miss out on a lot of sale.
I have have no trouble at all. In certainty, I quite approaching PayPal.
The only downside I can reason of is if you want to get the full amount, PayPal isn't the bearing to go. If you trade, for example on eBay, and they have to repay you $5, if they send a check, you will return with a check for $5. If they pay via PayPal, you own a certain % taken rotten to pay PayPal for the service.
It's a great site and the services really cannot be crush by anyone. The only legitimate downside to what they offer is the steep fees that they can hold from you. Even on $5. I think I solely received $4.25. So, if you sell on Ebay or receive money on Paypal trade name sure you factor in these costs to your costs of doing business because these cuts are clearly going to cut into your profit margin.
Paypal works for me, BUT do not ever ever respond to any emails asking you to update your Paypal information.
Downside is 'Pay"
Upside is "Pal"
"Pay for a Pal"
only just kidding : )
PayPal is one of the largest companies within the World.
In fact, they are currently the number 458 surrounded by the Fortune 500 2006 list.

Question:
Who's profiting from this military action?
Answer:
The cost to UK is nearly lb5 billion pa since the cost to the US so far has be $200 billion.
Much of it now go to Iraqi officials who requirement bribing to a horrendous extent to progress any contract. Corruption has other been a certainty of life contained by all Muslim countries (see the communication about the Saudi royal family), fancy how it must be very soon in Iraq.
Sadam be doing a very worthy job. It is a pity he have to be sacrificed. But he refuse to play ball near the US as other oil producers enjoy the good sense to do.
It's paying the wages of the soldiers, buying their food and buying the bullets. Second sound out: the Bush family.
Don't kid yourself, the soldiers aren't seeing a speck of that money.
Its all going to Haliburton, the one furnishing the period of war.
And who has a controlling interest contained by Haliburton? Why our own Vice President Dick Cheney!
Shady business to say the least possible. No wonder he's so pro-war.
No idea.
Salaries and food?
Umm.. soldiers achieve paid and are feed when there is no time of war going on, so that can't be part of the cost of the period of war.
the question is, is the $3 billion the cost for the time of war, or the cost for all military spending.
How do you figure ROC or Return on Capital when you look at a symmetry sheet or proceeds report?
Question:
In the Little Book That Beat the Market, Joel Greenblatt mentions ROC, Return on Capital as a criteria for choosing stocks to buy. What is your take on how to second check the harmonize sheet of a particular company to see if you want to invest within that company?
Answer:
Return on Capital ROC is nothing except Return on Equity. Capital is used for Partnerships and Equity for Corporations. So it is slightly confusing how can a Partnership trade in Stock Exchanges or own stocks in the firsrt place. Leaving aside the confusion, since we are dealing near stocks Return on equity is calculated from Earnings report or Income statement and Balance Sheet of a corporation that has shares traded surrounded by the Stock Exchange. Take out the Net Income from Income Statement and Stockholders Equity from the Balance sheet divide the former by the latter you will get Return on Equity. I be about to dispatch you some OTC stock recommendation but be lazy for a few days. Luckly I didn't enjoy to do it see the Market crashed.
Mathew, a partnership can have stock by operating as a Limited Liability Company or Corporation. A restricted liability company with multiple member is typically treated as a partnership for tax purposes, thereby avoiding double taxation. Choosing to operate as bough management creates a flat branch or partnership structure. Examples on the NYSE: Buckeye Partners (BPL), Enbridge Partners (EEP), Enterprise Partners (EPD), etc.
Shouldn't investors listen to what creditable research firms say aloud almost a stock past purchasing it?
Question:
WHO DOESN'T LIKE A SPECULATIVE STOCK THAT MAY GO UP 25,50, OR 100%. BUT IF THE ODDS ARE STACKED IN YOUR FAVOR THEN I THINK YOU MAY HAVE A BETTER SHOT OF IT HAPPENING. CASE IN POINT. INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY,THE STREET.COM,ZACKS, MARKET EDGE, VECTOR VEST,
ALPHA-KING, SEEKING-ALPHA, BIO-HEALTH, THE GROWTH INVESTOR, STOCKCONSULTANT, AND STOCKSCORES HAVE POOR RATINGS, STATED POOR FUNDAMENTALS, SELL SIGNALS AND AVOID RATINGS ON NASTECH(NSTK). COUPLED WITH THE FACT THAT THE STOCK PRICE IS DOWN ABOUT 40% AT CURRENT, FROM 6 MONTHS AGO AND LASTLY BECAUSE PROCTOR AND GAMBLE DELAYED THEIR PAYMENT TO NSTK WHICH MAY TAKE 9-12 MONTHS LONGER BEFORE THEY RECEIVE IT NOW.
SO WHY DOES A TV PERSONALTY SAY BUY NSTK NOW AND PARK YOUR MONEY IN IT WHEN IT MAY TAKE ANOTHER YEAR OR SO FOR ANY SIGNIFICANT APPRECIATION. IT SOUNDS LIKE BAD ADVICE WHEN
THERE ARE DOZENS OF OTHER COMPANIES TO INVEST IN NOW THAT HAVE GREAT EARNINGS & EXPLOSIVE APPRECIATION POTENTIAL IN THE NEAR TERM WITH MORE IMPORTANT DRUGS VS NSTK
Answer:
Analysts upgrades and downgrades usually come after the damage is done, or the money is already made. Like a difficulty sign at the bottom of a cliff instead of the top.
Usually the really speculative stocks with huge growth potential hold little to no analyst coverage.
Speculation is it will rise again...Buy low, sell large

most stock predictions are of late that, predictions.no one can read out for sure what any given stock will do on any given day.what you can do is study the the growth of a company for a few weeks ,after see what you think it will do.
If research analysts be any good and have the gift of prediction they would not be working as research analysts

Who do stock brokers work for?
Question:
Answer:
They work for brokerage firms.
Investment companies, real estate agents, the New York Stock Exchange, etc..
Stock brokers work for the company you are next to. If that company buys a million shares of X company, you can believe this stock broker will try his bes to get you to buy shares surrounded by X company.
Financial managers are better than stock brokers because they are working for you and not for a company that requirements to make money from you.
Technically they work for you - by their license they must get you the best price (execution) they can on any stock trade. In practice, however, they do work for their brokerage firm and typically hold an eye on putting a share of your wallet into theirs.
