Risk involved surrounded by financial market?

Question:
financial markets include:
1.Capital market
2.Commodity markets,
3.Money market,
4.Derivatives markets,
5.Foreign Exchange Markets.

Answer:
What I know are at hand are 2 kinds of risks: souk risk and diversification risk. Diversification risk is the risk you bear as a result of holding just 1 security. You are at the mercy of the firm's internal environment. To minimise this, you should diversify your portfolio by tally different kinds of securities which do not move together (i.e. when one of them go up, the other goes down and vice versa). However, you can simply diversify so much that your portfolio represents the entire market/economy. That is market risk where on earth you are exposed to the risks associated with the discount and external factors such as political shocks.

Why do you want alot of money to become an angle investor or find angle investors?

Question:
Could it also work for the little man who only have a few hundred of dollars instead of thousands of dollars to invest in too?

Answer:
Those are two question, with two answers:

1. Why do you necessitate a lot of money to become an angel [note the correct spelling] investor?

Because angel investing is severely, very, VERY risky, and the majority of adjectives angel investments are lost completely. This would obviously be a Bad Thing for "the litle man who singular has a few hundred dollars". In demand to protect "the little man", the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC) has drastically detailed requirements that a company must meet until that time it is allowed to sell shares to the public. These primarily hold to do with reporting and file matters, making sure that ALL the risks that may affect the investment are clearly spelled out. Once a company is 'public', anyone may invest as long as you hold the cash to know how to buy a share of stock (which you do through a registered stockbroker, either contained by person or online.)

The SEC, however, does own rules under which companies may market shares WITHOUT having to be in motion through all the public file procedures. But because this is considered much riskier, the company may only vend shares to what the SEC considers 'Accredited Investors'. There are a number of different recommendation, but for a person (as opposing a corporation) the requirements are that you have at most minuscule a million dollars in investable assets, at smallest $200,000 in annual income, and can be immaculately comfortable if your entire investment is lost.

2. Why do you need a great deal of money to find an angel [note the correct spelling] investor?

You don't. Indeed, most people find angel investors BECAUSE they don't hold a lot of money. If they did, they would invest it themselves! However, facts that angel investors will not invest in you or your business unless they believe that you are completely serious and staunch to making the business a success (and making them abundantly of money from their investment). Therefore, they will want to see that, no matter how much or little money you own, you have invested a honest chunk of it in your own business past you come looking for money from them. This is not so much a question of how MUCH you own invested, but rather what PROPORTION of your investable assets you've invested. If a highly rich guy came looking for money, but hadn't already put contained by several hundred thousand of his own money, investors would be very, vastly suspicious. But if the entrepreneur is, for example, someone with a total network worth of $50,000, then the certainty that he or she has already invested $10,000 of it within themselves might be enough.

The prior poster mentioned Prosper (www.prosper.com), which is a well-mannered suggestion. Prosper is a grass roots LENDING site, rather than an investing site (there is a big difference; contained by one case you are lend someone money which they promise to pay put a bet on at a specific time with a specific amount of interest. In the other, you are buying part of a set of the ownership of the business, in the hope (but no promise) that eventually the business will be worth profoundly of money. For this reason, investing is much riskier than lend...assuming that the borrower is a trustworthy person.)

At Prosper, general public looking for small amounts of money (under $25,000) post their request, the reason they obligation the money, their credit rating (which is checked by the site), and the amount of interest they are willing to retribution. Lenders (including "the little man") can look at the various requests, and volunteer to lend as much or little of it as they like (down to $100, I think) at anything interest rate they are prepared to accept. The site works similar to an auction for money (that is, if I'm willing to loan $100 at 5% interest, my loan will be taken in the past someone who is only inclined to loan it at 7% interest.)

Prosper then aggregates adjectives the money, sends it to the borrower, the borrower pays the loan back over three years, and Prosper distributes the money (including the interest) to adjectives the different lenders. It's a neat system, and not a fruitless way to start 'investing' small amounts of money...although entry that you will only receive whatever interest rate you bargain for, and will not own a piece of any business.

I hope this helps!
Little man DO NOT CURE CANCER.
I ponder there is a journal of something like that at www.prosper.com, where on earth individuals can pool their money and loan in groups. My brother made me aware of the site.

This may not be what you are referring to but I be reminded of it with your sound out...I hope it helps.

annual report / facts to the financial statement.
Actually, there are two different numbers that you might requirement to consider. Number of issued shares and number of authorized shares. The number of issued shares are found in the 10k and 10Q filings of the company. The filings can be found on Edgar for most companies. They are also widely reported within financial web sites such as Yahoo Finance. However, the number is reported by the company solitary every quarter so there is a padding of time during which the company may issue or buy back shares that are not included surrounded by the total. The authorized shares are the number that the company is allowed to issue. I believe it is also reported in the 10k filings.
You divided the Net Income/earings per share which will contribute the number of shares outstanding.

What exactly is a stall fund?

Question:
hedge fund manager apear to be very economically paid

Answer:
The "hedge" fund is in actual fact inappropriately named, "hedge" imply that they guard against extravagant losses in the financial market. Hedge funds usually take excessive risk to create more money than say stock brokers, allowance funds and ordinary shareholders. They do this by investing surrounded by derivatives, options, stocks currencies, swaps, warrant etc, but in a demeanour that can be regarded as deeply risky as they are relying on highly complicated algebraic models, or equations to tell them that at that time and place they are making the right decision, and this trade of two items for example the currency against the oil price will surrender a return over and above what the market can afford them. Of course, political knowledge comes into play. Hence Hedge funds protract their allure as they get their calculation right in one year and net zillions or they are famous for destabilising an entire reduction for making the wrong decisions which they didn't know at the time would explanation them to lose zillions. A beat about the bush fund is nothing more than a fund which tries to do away with the effects of all variables rescue the one "in play".

For instance, if you have a fund that was bank on a company's new product anyone a success, you would want to evade all other variables so that any movement on any of those variables have no effect on the portfolio (interest rates, monetary policy, etc...).

I really hope that makes sense.
You must be recognized to invest in a dither fund, and they often involve more risk, and enjoy more complicated investment strategies.

Technical Analysis: Basic quiz?

Question:
Hello

What are the general steps I should pinch in performing TA?

Do I identify the trends first, afterwards the patterns or vice versa?

appreciation

Answer:
There is no one set method to TA, if near was everybody would be using it and the flea market would be predictable.

Generally, when going long, you want stocks that have their 10d, 50d, and 200d moving averages going up. Next you want the relative strength increasing and unanimously above 70 or so. For confirmation patterns, look at MACD and stochastics and crossovers from these indicators.

Don't forget the fundamentals. EPS increasing, sale increasing, revenues increasing. It's easiest for me to visualize all this notes in a spreadsheet, resembling XL; while using a charting service like TC2000, where on earth you can look at multiple charts and indicators simultaneously.

Hope this helps.
///
I'm not sure I appreciate your question. There are chart pattern in up trends (i.e. flags, pennant, head and shoulder pattern, etc.) and patterns within downtrends (again flags and pennants, inverted guide and shoulders, etc.) There are even patterns within sideways moving markets (like base patterns). Almost all of TA is base on price action and volume, so start nearby.

One sight I would recommend to you would be www.chartpattern.com. It is run by a man name Dan Zanger, who holds the record for the largest percent gain within a personal portfolio that has be verified by a firm that professionally audits money managers. During the deferred 90's sometime, he gained over 29,000 % during one 12 month interval! His sight have a lot of free info that will capture you started on TA. (by the way, no, I am not affiliated near the sight, don't even know the man)

I enjoy never Traded (stock/Options /Futures...etc) contained by my life span. Where and how do I start?

Question:
I am a complete Novice in the trading business/market. I don't even know the abs’s of trading. I would greatly appreciate some comprehension and advice. How and where on earth do I begin? Any right books and website suggested? Thank you all surrounded by advance.

Answer:
Not to be insulting, but don't. Buy mutual funds.

And if you are really sincere, move about to college and learn from their nouns departments. You can audit classes from many university for a small fee. You will want the following classes:

1) Calculus I and maybe II
2) Non-linear algebra (matrix algebra to be exact)
3) Statistic I and II (III if they bestow it).
4) Micro and Macro Economics (just the first class of each)
5) Every Investing Class they offer

As you can see...its just about 30 odd hours to revise the BASICS. To really learn, budge after the graduate classes on finance or financial econometrics. Those will initiate you in depth how to monitor, pick, select and track every investment vehicle on the planet. Only at the MS or MA even will you be competent enough to pick stocks. Not an insult...but no firm ever let a BS or BA pick stocks (they are hired as a jr analyst who does reseasrh for the MA or MS who picks).

Lots of work. So just buy mutual funds. And forget the 12 hour days of research to invest smartly.
