I have hear shorting %, unusual volume and options inequity are among a few. So when shorting volume rises enough, it can bring a stock down pretty far. What else do you use to muse about this? I realize that the sector, the marketplace, the world and world currencies, the interest rates.are among some considerations. What else would you suggest?
Answers: I keep a index of stocks with large " insider buying" ( from moneycentral, stockscouter) and watch them for big volume on an UP sunshine...time to buy a little for short- permanent status.
As far as predicting short-term price movement, it's not something that you can do consistently.
But if you want to get that short-term "pop" as you put it, there's simply one thing you've get to ask yourself one question:
"Do I have a feeling lucky?" Well, do you punk?
Just use common sense and look for the right moment. Don't trade jut for the sake of the trade. This is what I am doing and thoroughly sucsseful at it.Just see for yourself:
