-Why should we hire you?

Answers: I habitually interview people for job on Wall Street, and would suggest the following:

1) "Why do you want to work for us?" -- You should have a earnest interest in the work, and be capable of talk almost why you have that interest. It help to research the employer, the industry, and the role first, and then tie it to your experience or interests. For example, if you are interviewing for a brief at a museum, you should be able to be paid your interest known by discussion about your literary background surrounded by art or your passionate hobby of visit art museums for the past 10 years which you would similar to to turn into a career...

2) "Why do you want to go away your current position / employer?" -- Always answer this with a positive spin. If you must read out something negative around your previous employer, keep it brief and impersonal. The two most adjectives answers that I hear are either 1) growth (more resist, more responsibility, etc.) or 2) personal issues necessitated the changeover (e.g. my husband's job be transferred to NYC so now I'm looking for a profession in NYC as well).

3) "Why should we hire you?" -- Know your strengths and don't be afraid to state them contained by a confident manner. You should know how to contribute to the company through your strengths. Be able to pick 2 or 3 at most -- it's better to own quality than body here. To stick with the art museum example, you could focus on your expertise surrounded by a particular nouns of art, your connections in local art gallery, and/or your passion that will drive you to work night and weekends on a challenging project.
