Other than popcorn, what are some polite fundraisers for cub scouts?
Pop corn sales for our local cub scout pack are down. We are looking for some topical, fresh ideas to lift up money for the boys to attend camp and to salary for their awards.Love to hear some good concept!

We've had apt luck doing pancake breakfasts, ziti dinners, and selling pizza tickets from a local pizzeria.
For the breakfast and dinner fundraisers, we would have the parents purchase and donate ingredients - spread it out so that respectively family contributes a moment or two. That way it isn't a financial burden on the Pack or individual ethnic group...and the profits go style up too. We would get some of the parents to relief with the cooking, and the cub scouts help out by serving or clearing tables.
For selling pizza tickets, our local pizzeria give us a discount and we sold large pizza tickets that be good for a designated time interval. Good luck and Happy Scouting!

There's no reason that you cannot self publish your own book, articles, magazine, newsletter, etc. The problem is the marketing expiration of things because it will take money to obtain your works out there for ethnic group to find and purchase. Check out the library for books on self publishing... the pros and cons. Use whatever experience you have on a topic you own passion contained by and continue to edify yourself so that you become a respected source in the pasture and then write, write, write! You don't entail a hired editor ... some intelligent friends or teachers can backing you polish your works.
