Does anyone have any ideas for a fundraising project for my church youth group?
Answers: I asked the young people in the group I work with to think of their own ideas - they came up with loads.
One thing we are thinking of doing is busking in the church coffee area after the services...

Ask the members to donate items for a one day garage sale you can hold at the church.
car wash, garage sale, bake sale, sell those blankets that you tie around the edges, buy some bags or some goodies and have a silent auction

You didn't say how young but there must be several musically talented kids in your church. Plan to practice together, then set a date to entertain and sell tickets. Relatives and friends will buy tickets to be entertained. Someone that is funny could write and learn a short stand up comic speach. Bright young people are valued as fund raisers. Bet you come up with a great show. Good luck.
My company has one of the most innovative, fundraising programs that I've ever heard of. First, it is in the travel industry, so right off the bat, you know you have a HUGE target market. Travel is the world's largest industry. $1.3 trillion in the U.S. A. alone. Travel is also a big ticket item and it produces significant fundraising dollars.
Our program is called Passport to Giving. How does it work? The nonprofit organization pays a one time fee of $500 for their travel booking engine. Then with the help of the company, The YTB Travel Network, the nonprofit will let the world know that they have their own travel booking site. When ANYBODY books travel on the nonprofit's site, the nonprofit will receive 60% of those travel commissions.
Imagine the families planning reunions, couple's planning destination weddings, class reunions, group cruises, business travel, conferences that people travel to and more that -- in order to support the nonprofit -- when booked on the nonprofit's website, will earn that organization huge commissions! Travel is a big ticket item, and the good news is that most people don't travel alone. Plus, you can either proactively plan vacations and travel events - AND - you can just ask people to do what they're going to do anyway... on the nonprofit organization's site! I've been heavily involved with nonprofit fund raising for years.so here are some ideas I have that could be relatively low in cost for your youth group...
1) Consider a mail campaign - depending on how many mailing addresses you have, you never know how many people might respond to your cause and just write you a check! This works amazingly well for several organizations that are short on time AND resources.
2) Consider running an online auction - this is an AWESOME way to get to the people whose mailing addresses you don't have (ie you've got their EMAILS)...your email base can feel like they're using their expendable income on great stuff AND its going to charity at the same time! I've included a link of one of the online auction companies that I've worked with...cMarket. They also have another website, BiddingforGood.com, that opens your auction up to all their members so that people who you don't even know can donate to your cause and bid on your items!
3) Have a fundraising event - give people something to look forward to, and host a gala.you can sell tickets, have an auction, raffle prizes, etc that will give the people at your church something fun to do and a reason to give to your youth group!
Not paying for things on ebay?
ok, im not saying i dont or ever will ok!what is negetive feedback, they speak there going to grant you??

but vote i bought something from an ebay-store for 600 dollars, and i didnt pay for it. they apperently shiped it surrounded by the mail and i get it
say they expect the money withthin 8 days, and i in truth try to pay but i own some problems

Answers: they will probably report you to ebay first, however if they be smart, they should have gotten the money first, later sent it
anyways, negative feedback pretty much ruins your reputation on ebay, ancestors won't wanna buy from you, and will probably not let you buy from them, closely of people write on their auctions for family not to bid if they are new because they can't really be trusted...

refusal feedback can make you or break you surrounded by sales.
Each ebay user have 'feedback'. when a transaction is completed, each soul generally leaves feedback for the other being. If all go well they disappear each other moral feedback. Example "buyer was rushed to pay, great personality to deal beside, highly reccommended', or 'salesperson shipped item quickly, great communication", etc etc. This let other sellers/buyers know what kind of ebayer you are. Next to your user designation,is the number of feedbacks you've recieved, and the percentage of positive ones. If a person leaves you a unenthusiastic feedback, your percent goes down, and it warn other sellers/buyers that they might have issues near you.
Generally people loaf until AFTER they've received payment to ship the item, but if by some accident an item is shipped before clearance is received, and the 'buyer' never sends payments, then the purveyor who was screwed out of that money can bring legal movement.
Ebay is pretty fast pace. Sellers dont want to wait forever to receive their transmittal, and buyers dont want to wait forever to receive their items. 20 days is far too long to keep on to send compensation. Most sellers will assume you're not going to settle and leave unenthusiastic feedback for you. If you want an item on ebay, but cant pay for it for 20 days, consequently you shouldnt bid on it. Wait until you actually enjoy the money BEFORE you bid. People bidding and then not paying or taking forever to remuneration is why alot of sellers are extremely reluctant to flog to anyone who is a new user.

Do you often shift to the store, select something to buy, have the store put it contained by your vehicle because it's heavy and after tell them you'll come stern in 20 days because you've settled you don't have the money today? I doubt it.
And that method you not only deserve adjectives the negative feedback you achieve, the seller should be capable of give you the hardest see in the rear-end you've ever experienced...
This scenario is importantly unlikely since most of the seller's wouldn't even ship an item to you without delivery payment. Ebay have even set up the seller's progression through a transaction to receive payment previously shipping any items.
The use of negative feedback give an opportunity for others to see "reviews" of your past transactions. If too plentiful people bestow negative comments than some population might not want to do business with that creature.
