Silent partner? Who could be so stupid?
Someone asked me to invest in a CD studio being started by "these individuals." When I asked who, what, where and to see a business plan, he replied it be a silent partnership and silent partners cannot know where on earth the money was going. He said I would brand lots of money and I would get put a bet on my investment "off the books" as he would repay me monthly, in dosh. He insisted that this repayment was permitted and I would not have to pay cheque taxes. When pressed for details on how much I would make, he said, "lots" but could not even contribute me a ballpark amount.I know for a fact that this man is a con and told him to bring lost. He said he couldn't understand why I would turn down such a lucrative settlement and that is be legit because I would get compensated!
How could someone be so stupid to make such an grant that is palpably a scam.
