I signed up a form that was suppose to sustain a college student thats called "Los Angeles Times" Special Introductory Offer. I'm not too sure if it's a scam or not. So abet would be appreciated.Answers: Call the paper and ask them if they own such a deal going.
If you didn't impart any financial info, not too much they can do with you. If you give a check, credit card number, etc. then even if the program is legit you're potentially within trouble if the person is dishonest or slapdash.

If you already did you may be capable of call your guard and stop the payments after you contact the newspaper and net a complaint so there will be a diary. My friend got into this Word Financial Group and say's that he is gona be making alot of money im a short time ago trying to see if this is not a scam or one of those pyramid things...Answers: World Financial Group is part of the Aegon group of companies. Aegon is one of the top 100 companies on the planet according to Forbes Magazine. Other parts of the Aegon household include TransAmerica, WRL, etc., so I'd say it's a pretty lawful company. It also works with give or take a few 75% of the companies on Wall Street so I'm also sure they've done their own due diligence and "checked them out."
Don't believe everything you see printed at some angry website. Anyone with a grudge can post anything they want. I've even see sites that used to insist a soap company was pushing "devil worship" because of the design of it pack??
