I get charged by two phone companies?
I switched phone companies about a year ago and have all three services switched to sage telecom. My local.local toll and long distance. It be a flat rate of $34.00 unlimited long distance. I called my sister and other individuals since I had unlimited long distance. Well after I get my bill and paid it, I get another bill from ATT for $250.00. I called them and they said they be my long distance carrier. I call sage and they said they were. So I call my old phone company SBC and asked if they switched me to Sage similar to I requested and agreed to. Somehow everything got switched but my long distance. They switched it to ATT. I did not approve this switch and already salaried Sage for my bill. Why should I owe ATT too? I only own one phone line. This is their quirk and mistake right? I didn't authorize ATT to be my carrier. They sent it to collections and they keep hold of sending me bills. What should I do?Answers: Tell SBC that they should have switched it and that it isn't your criticize. Also call ATT and report them everything that happened, and you did NOT authorize your long distance to them, and that you already hold a long distance carrier. Another entity you can try doing is talk to the coordinator at ATT and tell them you are going to be chitchat to a lawyer in the order of all of this, and you plan on warfare it.
