because they want the defaced currency out of circulation? i found partially of a dollar bill, and a cashier told me that if i mail it to the treasury, they would send me a full dollar. but i doubt thats true because associates could ripped 100s in partly and make 200$ respectively time they do it. anyone ever hear of anything like this or enjoy any good info.Answers: You can clutch damaged currency to any mound and they should exchange it for you.
I'm pretty sure that there requirements to be a little more than partly or the serial number has to be contained by tact. That would prevent the fraud...

The National Treasury will happily adopt the bill but will not send you a replacement for the destroyed/defaced bill(s). Now, if you possess more than partially of the bill then run to your bank and ask for an exchange as they should be likely to do so without charge. They will replace the bill for like peas in a pod denomination. And so you know, the bank will after send the bill out to the treasury but will not receive reimbursement any.

I can tell you that if you enjoy a 4 hrs ballpark the cheapest way would be to enjoy the shipper ship it to you using Standard Service (ground).
The delivery time for those packages is EOD (End of Day). So the driver deliver those packages once he's finished near the other rush delivery services (such as Express Early AM (before 8:30am), Express (before 10am), Expedited (before noon)).
So most predictable your standard service, which is the cheapest one as well, will be deliver between 12 to 5pm.
Note that this would apply for the US and most developed countries. If you live in Bangladesh the service level are completely different. Or if you live in Lybia or Cuba UPS won't deliver at hand.
I'm not sure but I think that within the US you can even call the customer service vein 1-8OO-PICK-UPS and request to have the bunch delivered contained by a specific range of time. (Im not 100% sure)
