I think that would be the shortest way. When I'm trying to write that on a check, I'll often leave out the second "hundred" so there will be enough room on the line.

also if less imported cars where purchased more folks would go hungry , more folks would pay higher prices for food and necessities.
simple economics don't work any more.
If US factories made more salable items, it would help. It isn't that importing things is bad, it's that we need to make things here (or provide services) that people want. There's nothing wrong with importing stuff as long as it's approximately balanced out with exporting stuff. And that 'stuff' to export can certainly include services like computer software, financial services, etc.; it doesn't have to be hard goods.
And with everyone worrying about the fall of the dollar, they forget that this should work to encourage us to import less and more importantly help us export more. So it has a plus to go along with several minuses.
Help near PETCO and Yahoo Finance?
In my personal financing class, we have choose a company and track its stock on a Yahoo Finance portfolio. I want to do PETCO, because I'm sure not a soul else in my class will choose it, but when I try to look the company up to append it to my portfolio, no results come back. I looked on PETCO's website, however, and it say what their ticker symbol is and everything, so it should definitely be at hand, but its not!Answers: try looking in CNN Money.
