Annual Salary... Did I Sell Myself Short??

So I have be working as a temp at a software company since July 2007, so I have smaller number than 1 year experience working L1 Tech Support. I applied and was offered a L2 Tech Support position. I know that I did not have much room to wrangle when they offered my salary because of the reality that I have smaller quantity than 1 year experience. My offer be $38,500, including PTO of 33 days per year, Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, 401 as well. Anyone enjoy any thoughs, did I sell myself short or did I label a good declaration?

Answers: CP,

You didn't say what the cost of living is contained by your area.

Other than that, next to the excellent benefits you have (401K, medical, etc.), I'd influence you came out fairly well. The price/cost of your medical benefits collection alone are probably worth over $700 a month (based on what my sister's family pays). Other than the military, I haven't hear of any company giving 33 personal days.

May I make a suggestion? If you can afford to, start investing beyond what they pinch out for your 401K. Begin preparing for your retirement now.

Good luck on your topical career.

Where do you live? If you live contained by New York City, this isn't enough money to live on. On the other mitt, if you live in a small city contained by the Midwest, this is a good stipend.

Also, do you have a college amount or a certificate from a trade academy?

There are other things that you have to hold in mind. Do you close to your job? This is intensely important.

I cogitate you are doing okay. You probably didn't sell yourself short. Many relatives in big tech are unemployed. The job continue to be shipped overseas. Employers can clear whatever they want to. There are greatly of people who are desperate for job.

Good luck.

I enjoy used and received a check from each of the sites down but don't expect to get rich. I'm not exactly sure what they salary on the UK versions of the sites but I unanimously get $2 to $10 US per survey that I qualify for.

How much should I charge for?

To write a Contract (per page)

To write a Request for Proposal (per page)

Design Business Card

Design Letterhead

Answers: For Business cards and letterhead I estimate 10 hours of work for each one: a round of initial designs is 3 or 4 hours. Then a 1 hour jamboree to get them to choose something and later 5 hours to finish it off and traffic with the printer.

Then I of late multiply that by my hourly rate. Where I live that's $60 - $80 and hour. If it's a friend, small business or non-profit some times I go lower basically to get the living, like $35/hour.

No notion about the writing ones. Hope this help!
ON contract and Proposal pages depends how sturdy it is to make and nought under 12 cents. On the business cards designs you should kind them from 50 to 500 and sell them contained by a packet 50 goes for 3 dollars and letterheads only just depend on how hard they are to put together I woudl charge a straight buck fifty and sell beside paper for more.
