"Lower" eBay fees?
So everyone knows how expensive eBay is to use (as a seller). Your money get eaten up by address list fees, gallery fees, final value fees, etc. And after there are PayPal fees higher than that. So eBay decided to "listen" to the customers and "lower" it's fees. The single problem, and my question is: have anyone else noticed this? That they speak they "adjusted" the final value excise and "lowered" the listing excise. But what they did was lower the book fee, and elevate the final value fees to something ridiculous. Anyone else make out this? And what's your opinion?Answers: With the increased final significance fee, we seller are stuck between a rock and a hard place. eBay is one of the best places to go unusual items and reach a worldwide market as defiant Craigslist.
The only polite thing is the free gallery pic--why?! Because it does draw buyers within to look at your auction, so you have a better shot at selling it. For example, because I'm good that 35 cents, I can put an item in TWO category (doubling the number of people who scenery the auction and maying increasing the final sale price)--saving 70 cents and so making up the INFLATED FVF (commission) price that they will be charging. But this is only apt for items around $10.
What it tells me is that I'm going to even work harder at making my auctions GREAT. The BEST title possible, the BEST picture (or pictures) possible, the most information possible to takeover an audience and therefore stimulate multiple bids. But since 80% of buyers now SNIPE, getting upright price is harder because not everyone gets their bid registered within those last few second.

"WE" will adjectives have to see how much of a bit the topical FVF takes and try and be creative more or less making more money.

Since I read this question, I did a touch exploring and found a most unique interconnect of a petition of sellers who are protesting the rise contained by fees. There are over 28,000 'signatures' on the site linked below:

Ebay seller are very concerned roughly speaking the recent fee increase. Of course as ebay grows, it is logical that the fee structure will increase. But seller are questioning the amount of increase, principally the gallery fee (from 0.25 to 0.35) and the final significance fee (from 5.25% to 8%).
Many seller are making little profit as is. Ebay is clearly discouraging the smaller sellers, however don't adjectives sellers own to start out somehow? Sellers are saying that they will hold to close their ebay store due to the subscription increase, or increase their prices to offset the fees. Many relatives want to leave ebay entirely.
The long permanent status of the increase of the fee structure are:
a) Smaller seller will stop selling on ebay and try to sell somewhere else online. They will never hold the chance to expand themselves on ebay.
b) Larger seller may consider starting their own online store or sell elsewhere
c) Prices of auctions will increase. Buyers will turn subsidise to retail stores. The idea of ebay is that you can find things cheaper in attendance, even when adding shipping and handling together.
d) Discourage foreign sellers, decreasing competition (which is what the ebay bazaar thrives on for pricing).
Several ebayers have stated that they want to boycott. However I own started this petition to show ebay the concern we have for the alien increase in the excise structure.
We protest that ebay should reconsider the duty increase entirely, but if not possible, please do imagine about not increasing the fees as much (some fees hold double...or even tripled!).
I understand that even an increase contained by listing fees is clear, but the substantial increase at the same time contained by the final value is definitely absurd. Please listen to the ebay seller, we are the backbone of ebay.
The final value levy, rose 66.67%, from 5.25% to 8.75%.
But not to worry, we can increase the price of gas to compensate for it (SMILE)!
Feebay are massacre us sellers and it's not only just the fees add the paypal fees on top..
By lowering the list fee and increasing fvf they will execute the small profit we get.
Looks approaching ebays dead time to look for an alternative to ebay such as ebid.

I totally agree. We use to vend a lot of stuff through ebay and next bank the money to purchase others items on their site. The other year we sold some stuff and let me let somebody know you - We made out worst after they made their wonderful changes.

What do the rich owe the poor?
Answers: Shamiey has a point, no one OWES anyone anything but maybe a little reframing is due here. The poor can offer us a wonderful opportunity to develp ourselves and enrich our Souls.
Basically contact with the poor offers us a chance to stregthen our civility and nonjudgmental skills. There are many reasons that people fall into the catagory of poor especially in America today. Openmindness is also a skill that can shine here. The poorest may have just the answer for which you have been searching. There are some very knowledgable people who have ended up in the lower financial class through no fault of their own. They may even have become disabled.
Then there are the higher Soul skills that this will give you a chance to develop and it really depends on where you need to develop. What is hard for you is where your Soul requires development. These areas include charity, care giving, active listening and understanding.

Charity starts at home. When we have enough for ourselves, then its time to be charitable, but we dont owe it to them.
The rich owe the poor the advice and guidance so that the poor can become rich.
Just giving the poor money will not help them out. Many porr people don't understand financial responsibility and need help to manage their finances.
