UPS People?
We get packages from our relatives habitually and every single time, the deliverer NEVER rings our doorbell. They either vacate it on the front porch or the garage door (We've even almost drove over some because we didn't know they would do that). And it's getting really frustrating because I believe they should ring doorbells when delivering packages to populace. Like today, it was raining. We coincidentally looked outside and we see a bundle outside, sitting in the rainfall! Am I being unreasonably stupid? I want to report a complaint so that they'll start ringing the doorbell so packages from another country won't get soaked!Answers: Yes we are supposed to knock or ring a door bell, and if not a soul is home and it is raining we are supposed to put it in a plastic sack. Try to talk to the driver, if that doesn't work phone call the local center and have them yak to the driver. Good luck..
Just call, email, write do something to database as many complaints to bring it to their attention. Perhaps take into custody the guy and talk to him, Usually you will own the same deliver personality until he or she is switched or quits.

What happens to pension and company pension plan if company goes out of business.?
Answers: Sometimes its totally lost, sometimes partially lost, and sometimes its not effected. It depends whether the company fully funded the pension obligations over the years. If the company was having financial problems, it may have skipped on some of the funding. It also depends on the type of pension plan. Some are defined benefit and some are defined contributions. On the defined contribution plans, the company usually has to contribute each year what is required. Some pension plans are guaranteed by an agency of the US government. I believe its called the Pension Benefit Guarantee Authority. They may come to the rescue in some cases.
P.S. Give us specifics if you want more details. Give us a company name.
Also, if unions are involved, then there are usually more safeguards on the pension plans.
MAYBE the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp takes over. Check for your company here:
