Moving/shipping company - LTL carrier?
I have hear that I could ship my personal belongings using LTL carrier, which is a cheaper leeway compared to other moving/shipping company, however, I haven't done this before. So I would approaching to get some warning from anyone on the recommendations and caution while dealing with these companies.I enjoy come across this website - FreighCenter.com, has anyone used their service back? Do I always hold to use pallet during shipping? Can I ship my stuffs in boxes instead? What CLASS should I use for clothes and kitchenware?

UPS delieverd bundle to my term and address by mistake?
UPS delievered a package address to me and my address by mistake. It was vanished on my doorstep, I did not sign for it.I called UPS beside the tracking number to find out who the package belongs to but they will not present the name of who ordered it. So they know it be wrongly delievered and who it was deliver to.
I absoultly DO NOT want to have UPS pick it up unless they contact me because I am afraid they may screw it up again (I've have issues with UPS within the recent past) and whoever did order it may try to come to me to reimburse for it. I would think they would enjoy insurance as the item is worth at least 3,000-5,000 dollars.
At this point I am not sure what else to do but dally for UPS or the owner to contact me about it. Again the bunch was delieverd to my address contained by my name .
Legally, what more am I grateful to do to get it to the rightful owner? Can UPS sue me for not calling them come p/u a bundle I believe doesn't belong to me, even though it was their mistake?
Answers: If the packet was deliver to you and it had your pet name and address on it, then you are 100% within your right to keep it short any consequence.
I am a UPS driver and have see this before. This is NOT the condemn of UPS, they delivered it to the address that be on the package which will result surrounded by any insurance claim to be denied. If this package be worth the amount you listed, they would own required a signature at delivery. It sounds close to it just have the $100 that comes standard.
Again, it was NOT UPS's mistake if it have your name and address on it. Obviously it will come between you and the shipper. Someone definitely ordered something in your term. I do not understand how it be paid for though.
If I mis-understood your story and the bag was NOT within your name or addess, afterwards yes, it is theft to save it.
If the package have your address but a different name it is alsos raid if you keep the bag.
UPS caused the mistake they should PU and redeliver. I've done it previously, either because the address be wrong on the label or the being had moved. Its really not a big settlement, they should have sent someone to gain it the day you call or the next sunshine. That's what my center that I work out of does. If they don't cooperate then yes contact the shipper and hold them pay the shipping charges for you to return it, or the shipper can concordat with UPS. Also the rightful owner could NOT come after you to retribution for it unless you hid it and kept it. Since your doing the right piece it would be on UPS for misdelivering.
