i received an email from someone in the joined kingdom who said he be from thr yahoo promotins department and I had won 500000 pounds to be sent to me by check if I messages them amoney order for 1200.00 dollars is this definite or is someone trying to make money using Yahoo's term and logo
Answers: I don't think Yahoo promotions have a lottery scheme.
As a common rule, if any organization asks you to distribute them money so that you can claim a lottery prize - its most probably is a SCAM.
Just delete this e-mail and future similar e-mails. To respond would close-fisted that your e-mail address is active, That would invite more spammers.
