Can I be fired while on Short Term Disability?
I need to agree to my employer know tomorrow that I will need to progress on Short Term Disability. Can they fire me during that time if they choose? I can get a doctor's data to say indistinguishable. My doctor suspects I will need to travel on Long Term Disability following the STD period. I live within FL.
