UPS Collect on Delivery (COD)?
I recently purely done a ebay transaction using COD by UPS. I (seller) got the tracking # and everything so I know when it be deliver or not. I was basically wondering, after it was deliver to the buyer, when and how will I procure my money? Thanks!Sorry this is my first time using COD, and the UPS people didn't really explain capably. Answers: IT will take some time, by some time I penny-pinching about a month. They are enormously slow getting you your money. Its not just UPS its adjectives of them UPS, USPS, FedEx its just a waiting team game.
Do not listen to the guy above, it does NOT take a month. COD's are processed electronically today which mean you should win it within 5 business days.
How should I knob this situation near my boss?
I am one of only two personnel that are fulltime at my office(my boss is the other one). There's a work convention in LA that my boss and I be going to attend with several of our clients. At the final minute, the corporate office said that with the sole purpose one of us needed to go so my boss arranged to (after he explained that he wanted me to travel with him to do the work while he visit friends he has within the area, but that's besides the point...). I be nervous almost the clients going with him since he isn't the best representation of our company. Throughout the week-long convention, I have clients calling me at all hours to ask me question and get my feelings on things. He should have be handling it but I didn't mind helping them. They are flying back tonight and I of late received a call from one of the clients motto that they've been have problems with him adjectives week (drinking too much, ditching them, avoiding them, etc). Should I let the corp organization know or is it not my place?Answers: I would speak with the clients and consent to them know that if they have a problem THEY should speak to corporate. If a client is fed-up with someone, they should not complain to that person's subordinate, they should report to that person's boss. This will keep hold of you out of hot water and not product you look like a tattle tail to corporate or your boss.
And I would also hold a talk near my boss. As uncomfortable as it is to confront your boss beside accusations of unprofessioanlism, it will save your relationship open and professional. In command to save my backside, if my boss contracted not to take the word well and looked-for to retaliate by firing me, I would keep a transcript of all the times clients call and write down the details of the complaints. Keep your phone records so that you hold proof the client called you and if your boss retaliates, THEN jump to corporate.
It is not your place at all. Aside from it man none of your business you are also talking almost complete hear say.
What are some key factors you can advise a person who just got hired in a Purchasing Dept.?
