Diffrence between computerised and manual accounting?
Answers: 1. Manual is slower.
2. Computerized - you can print out reports with a click of a button, rather than hand tally accounts.
3. With manual, you can make mistakes in balancing. Computers generally don't allow unbalanced entries as a programming device. For instance, in a manual system, you could accidentally debit an account and then debit another one. Can't do that with most computerized systems. It won't let you exit until your entry is balanced.
4. It is usually easier to find mistakes on computer, generally because you can access your accounts easier.
5. Computerized is easier to transport information. Instead of lugging files to your accountant, you can e-mail your accounts.
Those are a few. Is that what you were looking for?
