What is the point of "the business card exchange"?
I had a appointment the other day and it be extremely amusing the exchange that took place with the business cards...There be an exchange here and there, they would look at them, more exchanges.Is this simply the culture of U.S. Business...I hear somewhere that in Japan the exchange of business cards is greatly ceremonial even.I chose not to give these suppliers my business card, for the simple reality that I want the choice to contact them, and not for them to contact me.

1) The business card exchange within the US is a kind of come across and greet situation where you procure to meet, frontage to face, those folks out in attendance who you may choose to do business with. Many times, contained by western culture, you do business over the phone, never meeting, or seeing, who you are in fact doing business with, this fill that void.
2) In Japan the business card exchange is taken vastly seriously, for the above reasons, but within Japan, very probable you will be meeting a CEO, or VP, a bit than just a sale person. The sophisticated the title of the person you congregate, the more important a business relationship next to you is considered. Just don't make the mistake of trying to do business directly near the person you come together (unless it is a LOT of business it is considered an insult), instead ask them for a suggestion of who to talk to, or direction of who to sermon to.

u not giving card to the folks in recent times put u on outside looking in.
if some one have ur card and is intelligent ,
they keep it and use it when needed or when some one ask for a referral.

Is The Church Of England Really This Wealthy Or Any Other Religion?
Over a tea in McDonalds this morning we be discussing various issues.One of the topics mentioned be how wealthy the Church Of England are.
Someone mentioned that they have millions and the other person said that they have billions.
I do not know so much about the billions but are they really this rich? Or any other religion as to that business?

Answers: Because many will disagree with me let me give the answer with explanation -

US DOLLAR is a soft currency always treated as the most important currency in the world -
this facilitate as media to settle balance of trade.
when it comes to acceptabilty for settlement
within the state (soverign State or Country) their own Govt. currency hold good.
for international transaction - the media is US dollar.
Take the example of GOLD - basically it is a commodity - not used for balance of trade applications.
A country can hold Gold (instead of US Dollar). When they have to set right balance of trade - they have to sell the gold at the market rate - then convert it in US dollar for settlement.
You take the case of Euro - its valuation of getting appreciated and dollar value is decreasing - that should not influence the acceptable (transactable) currency world over.
It is the same case with UK Pound Sterling or Japanese Yen etc.,
Gold is mainly used as safety cushion for currency circulation/printing currency within a country.
there were some discussion to keep Gold as internationally acceptable currency - that has not taken-off. international community has not accepted this.
USA Fed. Bank has greater responsibility for maintaining US dollar stability - that is why - USA Dollar when plumbs down - entire Global economy trumbles - get earthquake effect.
