Our company goes through independent contractors close to water sometimes.I believe the biggest reason it happen is there is no consequence for quitting. For example, if you started as an member of staff somewhere and quit a day next, you could be blacklisted by that field for miles away.
I'm responsible for screning greatly of these people. 85 percent of our IC's enjoy been next to us for a LONG time, but the other 15 it's a revolving door. Raising pay isn't an remedy (and not a problem for the other 85 percent). People who "seem" like they hold good traits even leave.
