Can a manager "amend" the minutes of a meeting if they were not present at it?
Answers: He may if he thinks he can get away with it. Members present at the meeting can object to changes and if at least some of them agree they would be advised to do so in writing citing the fact that the minutes are not a true record. If the meeting is one of a series the next agenda should always contain an item to record the fact that the meeting agrees that the minutes of the previous meeting are a true record. This is intended to be a sanction against falsification.
However if the manager is a strong or powerful person, or a bully It takes a bit of nerve to take them on, even so it might be a good thing to do so because it make them think next time (and there usually is a next time)
The minutes are generally taken down by the meetings secretary. Any alteration after the event is falsification and not a true representation of that meeting especially if the person doing the altering was absent. Incidentally, minutes also record members present and generally include apologies from those unable to attend.

We are all gaurantors on the lease, They hold also sent a letter full of lies to the Real estate commission to try and acquire my license pulled and have also given these allegations to a client of ours that have given our company a subdivision listing worth over 500 million dollars. (I enjoy proof that these are false accusations near emails) Now they are demanding that I give them $40,000.00 and they will permit me out of the lease. We don't have any type of pertnership agreement but I enjoy proof I am 50% owner in the company near a franchise agreement. I have a legal representative but he wants to settle next to me giving them money. I find this rediculous as I have done zilch wrong. I FEEL THE WAY THIS WAS DONE THEY HAVE STOLEN MY BUSINESS AND TRIED TO SLANDER MY REPUTATION AM I WRONG? DO I NEED A NEW ATTORNEY?Answers: You don't want advice from us bozos.
Call another attorney. This will not be free. If he or she agrees, after seeing adjectives the facts that you can prove in a court of regulation, that you should settle, then your untested attorney is probably right and should manage the settlement.
Call a locksmith and changeover the locks again since you are the owner as much as he is.
