Answers: Call the CPA firms contained by your area and see if they are looking for any bookkeeping aid. The smaller firms are the ones that usually provide bookkeeping services so I would start with those. Sometimes you can receive hired on part time and work your approach into a full time position once you have proven yourself dexterous of the job. Good Luck!
Why not try public relations your services as a bookkeeping assistant?
Craigslist is a popular community bulletin board, if you will, that allows you to sign up for a free account and post ad in your nouns by category.
Best wishes!
Unfortunately, you're limiting yourself by refusing to use an agency. Most employer use agencies for temp and even permanent hire. It doesn't cost you anything to use them, the employer pays the charge. Temp jobs are going to be your best for attainment experience, and you'll get compensated in the process.
I've never hear of volunteer bookkeeping jobs self open, unless you merely happen to call a halt up doing it for a volunteer agency, like the SPCA or something.
Getting a available job as a receptionist is another great way to carry into bookkeeping. I started out as a receptionist, got tasks "helping out" other departments near filing or doesn`t matter what else they needed, and proved myself. With additional rearing and hard work, I finally made it to the cost accountant position and be head of the accounting department. Don't forget to look for clerical positions close to accounting clerk.
What are other PO Box alternatives for correspondence (My Post Office have a long waiting list)?
Do you also know where I can bring back a mailbox where I can receive UPS and Fed Ex packages? I read between the lines the Post Office doesn't take their packages. And please roll how much monthly it is for this mailbox.
Answers: UPS Stores rent private mailboxes, and accept UPS and Fed Ex packages. Go to www.ups.com to find locations.
There are various other private mailbox places as well, such as "Mailboxes, Etc.".
How going on for a private mail box? I don't know how much they charge or if they adopt deliveries except U.S. mail.
Opening a business during these monetary times?
We are artists with a working studio. We are forced to move our studio to a different location which will not be apparent at all to buyers. We've other felt we needed an extra gallery/retail space to hand over us added sales (right very soon we count on the current studio plus occasional shows and word of mouth). A place came available and it isn't that expensive (but still an added rent for the month). We quality like if we overhaul it up we will be missing out on a possible great opportunity HOWEVER should we be adding the extra rent during these monetary times? Are we being foolish expecting population to spend a lot on non-necessities?Answers: If you hold a working studio, and you have a clientel, It may behoove you to move anyway. Your loyal followers will other be customers, and you will also pick up new customers contained by a new location. Art, and attractive things for the home, other sell. Check out your marketplace, does the market clash the location? For instance, if you are selling art in a SOHO district, or an nouns that people travel to to find what you are selling..(think Greenwich Village, or Haite Ashbury, or Farmers market) People go to these places near specific things in mind. I would come see you if you be close! Good Luck!
Just keep a positive attitude and mental state , stop your mind from wondering if it will work and concentrate on IT IS going to work...People spend a ton of money on non-necessities 24 hours a morning , if they didn't Ebay would not exsist and I would have to obtain a real career...
