Ideas for fundraising event...?
I work for a non-profit organization whose leading source of income is fundraising. I am trying to come up with some fun and creative concept for a fundraising event, something that would attract many society. We already have auctions and golf tournaments, but want to do something different. Does anyone enjoy any ideas?Answers: Hi Joanne! Oh the stresses of fundraising events! :)
I've be heavily involved with nonprofit fund raise for years.so here are some ideas I own that could be relatively low in cost and FUN for your nonprofit's event:
1) Create buzz around your event by doing something for a time off the subjugated path...own a Christmas in July subject matter - or a Patriotic party within the dead of winter! The more your can give people something they haven't see or something they haven't done, the better! One successful idea I've see is having a wine & cheese fundraising event...inhabitants get so excited in the region of the snootiness of it!
2) Consider running an online auction BEFORE your live event- this is an AWESOME way to win to the people who can' receive it to your event (or who you wouldn't even invite!) Your email base can grain like they're using their expendable income on great stuff AND its going to a great lead to at the same time!
I've included a connect of one of the online auction companies that I've worked with...cMarket. They also own another website, BiddingforGood.com, that opens your auction up to adjectives their members so that ethnic group who you don't even know can donate to your cause and bid on your items!
3) Raffles are other great along with an event..why not?? Something interesting to try would be to include one raffle ticket near everyone's registration...that way, they're already invested and will possibly want to buy more! Or, you could enjoy a group of 3-5 people devoted entirely to selling the tickets adjectives night...they're dressed festively and they're essentially your "Raffle Train".
4) One last tid bit - consider selling sponsorships for your event...this can assistance off set some of your cost INCREDIBLY. You'd be surprised how lots local businesses want to be a part of your cause-minded event! You can ask for anywhere around $500 per sponsor, and if you put your auction online, you can ask for even more than that because they'll be getting lately that much more exposure through your website and event emails!
- "Taste of" event -- invite local restaurants to provide food and perhaps offer them a tax presumption?
- Wine tasting event
- "Day at" event -- pick a local administration like a racetrack, zoo, or museum and orchestrate a trip for a fee
Good luck!
try have fnd raising for trips/vacations
Looking for statistics on which demographic groups enjoy adjectives the money. Who save the most? Who invests?
I want to show that Baby Boomers have adjectives the money. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that younger people spend the most, but I want to show who holds the money.Answers: U.S. Bureau of the Census within the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP)
