The chief of security for the Mall of Dakotas be directed to study the problem of missing goods. He elected a sample of 100 boxes that have been tamper with and ascertained that 60 of the boxes, the missing pant, shoes and so on were attributed to nouns. For 30 other boxes employees have stolen the goods, and for the remaining 10 boxes he blamed poor inventory control. In his report to the shopping precinct management, can he influence that shoplifting is twice as promising to be the cause of the loss as compared near either member of staff theft or poor inventor control and that hand theft and poor inventory control are equally plausible? Use the .02 significance level.Answers: Use the Chi-square testing for this.

Our observations are {60, 30, 10}, expected values are {50, 25, 25} for shoplifting, hand theft and poor inventory control respectively.
The Chi-square statistic is:
Χ^2 = ∑(O - E)^2 / E
= (60-50)^2/50 + (30 - 25)^2 / 25 + (10 - 25)^2/25
= 12
this chi-square statistic have two degrees of freedom.
the p-value =
P( Χ^2_2 > 12) = 0.002478752
since the p-value is smaller number than the significance level we reject the null hypothesis and verbs that the distribution of missing goods does not follow the claim made by the chief of protection.

Is there a million dollar bill that really exists?
Answers: Not in the U.S.
The highest bill in circulation is the $100 bill.
Before 1969, a $500, $1000, $5000, and $10,000 bills were in circulation. But President Nixon ordered that stopped to help fight organized crime. The highest bill the US Treasury has ever printed out is a $100,000 bill. It was used for transactions between Federal Reserve Banks, and was only printed between Dec 18, 1934 through Jan 9, 1935---less than a month's time.
Until two years ago there was a million lira bill in Turkey - worth about 70 cents (US). My house cost 3 and a half billion to buy and that was cheap!!
