I have a BA in Management. Strongly considering MA in Accounting any advise?
Answers: I would recommend going in the direction of your perspective career. Accounting will certainly help almost any management career, but if you are already working, you may find that it would be more helpful to have marketing or finance.
I have an accounting and finance BA, but I wanted to move into marketing, because the marketing team at my company was weak with financial and accounting analysis. It was my intent to fill that void, and it worked.
Accounting is the language of business so I would highly recommend it (I have BS - Bus. Mgmt and MS Acctg). However, a MBA might be a better fit for you depending on your career goals. Do you know what direction you might like to pursue? Do some research on monster.com and other job websites and take a look at the preferred education requirements of those "dream jobs" you might like to do one day.
