If you are a people creature, try waiting tables. People deduce it's a crappy job but anyone who's ever done it (well) will relate you that you can make some serious money. I used to waitress at a slab and on good night I'd make over $200 within tips, bad night maybe solitary $50.

You'll have to enter the information about your bond, like its Series (EE, I, E, or savings note), Denomination (amount bought for) Bond Serial Number, and the Issue Date(enter it as "the months number/year")
Your savings bong will most likely be a EE Bond because they were the only ones available during 1987.
The web site will tell you the maturity date of your bond. You'll want to cash it in then to get the full value of your bond!
