How do you plan for the future?
Answers: I think into the future for about 3 to 5 years. What do I want to be doing in 3 to 5 years? Start with a vision; think about what motivates you to go for that vision; consider what the roadblocks or obstacles would be. What do you need to do to get to that vision or position that you are thinking about?
Then, WRITE IT DOWN! Harvard Business Review did a survey many years ago of college students and found that those students that WROTE DOWN THEIR PLAN were three times as likely to reach their goals than those who didn't write them down.
Put them in a place that will prompt you to review them occasionally - maybe once a month. This reminder will keep you on track.
