How do companies verify your information is accurate?
For example, say I am applying for a credit card and they ask me for adjectives my information including my social security number and date of birth and when I be entering my date of birth I put 1989 instead of 1979. Will they know that this is incorrect, and if so how will they know?Answers: Yes they will notice if the information you provided does not game the information connected with the social surety number.
There are 3 major credit bureaus, TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. They hold your birthdate, your reported address, etc. - almost everything. If you have your birthdate incorrect, depending on the credit card company, they will look at other information you put at the time of application to verify, i.e. ssn, designation, address. Being declined due to credit versus powerless to verify your identity is different. You could always submit additionl information to verify who you are.

Answers: If the auction is still spread out, you could still be out bid. When you bid on ebay you are actually entering into a contract . If you win and next try to back out, you will attain negative feedback which will hurt you contained by future bidding. You could other email the seller and communicate them what happened. Sometimes they will be likely to remove your bid. It doesn't happen regularly but it does sometimes. Good luck.
retract your bid
