inflationary prices and service tax are two different subjects. the levy of service tax reaches out and includes all the sections of the society to pay for the purchase of goods and services.
The levy and futher on the generation of money to government by way of service tax may bring down the levels of personal income tax rates in successive finance budgets.
the increase or decrease/supply and demand factors in the pricing of essential commodities and fuel as a basket gets the inflation figures for a month.
the latest inflation figures available by the govt press puts the figure at 3.45% for dec 2007. if the govt increases the price of petrol/diesil/kerosene/LPG by rs.4 and rs.2 (for the first two items)...the inflation figures will shoot up to 4.75 to 5.25%

so u see the cycle...increase in prices of essential commodities(for example vegetable, wheat, rice , pulses, pertol, diesel, kerosene, LPG) will increase the inflation rate and sustianed increase month by month will lead to higher interest rates.which might make the economy less bullish as spending patterns by consumers will change.

There is this kid claiming he dropped out of high university to pursue something else which he claims will earn him millions of dollars. I have be trying to figure out if he is serious or if its bull for a while. Any accepted wisdom? It's actually pretty natural to make suitable money while still in HS, too. I am C.E.O. of a few small software companies and I'm simply 16yrs. I'm pulling more money than most college-educated people, and on the other hand I still plan to go to college.
If he's a whiz or entrepreneur it could be legit... some savant computer programmer working on some radical and adjectives and exciting program or device that a big company's interested in, for example. Or if gorgeous, who know, might be trying to model or act (out of the lots hundreds of thousands of hopefuls... he'll probably wish he didn't drop out of university...)
If not, it might be illegal, such as drug dealing. Ugh.
Or, he might be lying through his teeth ... or freshly telling himself stories hoping they'll come true.
